Guest Reviews
- Sonia (9/5): - The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The garden was a really size and we really enjoyed all the activities in option - Table tennis - mini pool table - Sunbathing chairs - Dining area. The location is perfect for walks and going to the beach. I will recommend this property to my friends The only thing is to have a desk in the house as I was working some days and my kids needed to do homework so the only dining table in the leaving room was a bit small at times.
- Sandra (10/5): Wonderful stay, great walks and fun playing table tennis at the property too. - Location was superb, just 5 minute walk from the sea front and castle. Nothing!
- Philip (8/5): Great stay and would happily stay again. - Great value, comfortable with all that you needed for your stay. Barely anything. I like a bigger tv but that is not a complaint and about all I can come up with.
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Len (10/5): Amazing property and great location. Very comfortable and spacious !! - Location, clean, tidy, comfortable seaside feel, off street parking NA
- Malcolm (10/5): - clean lots of games
- jacqui (10/5): -
- Alison (10/5): Lovely property in a quiet residential street, close to the station and a lovely walk to the high street and beach area. - Very clean and welcoming. Nicely furnished and well equipped. Very comfortable beds. Nothing
- Isabella (7/5): -
- Clive (8/5): A lovely relaxing stay in a very well equipped property. - A very comfortable property with everything you could possibly need provided.
- Virginia (8/5): It was great and we will definitely keep it in mind for our next visit to Whitstable. - Good location on train station street. Walking distance to the harbour and the centre (not a short walk but doable). Great parking as driveway nice and wide. Very quiet residential neighbourhood. Co-op nearby and a quaint coffee shop for breakfast. The house was clean and the garden was very well taken care of and huge. Our children and dog loved it! Swings were great, table tennis table was amazing. Sofas very nice, we watched a movie, tv was great. Rooms as advertised, beds were nice and comfy, very clean. Kitchen was really well provided with utensils etc but we did not cook so can't give an opinion on stove or oven. Towels provided were nice and clean too. Table games in the house. BBQ too, but again, we didn't use it. Beds really comfy. There was a heatwave and all the blinds had been left up so when we came in the house it was an oven and it was really hard to sleep the first night, we managed to cool it down for the second night and it was a lot nicer.
There is only one bathroom upstairs and the door closes so that there is a crevice in the middle where you can be seen so not great intimacy unless you travel with family. No toilet downstairs.
There was a funfair one block over which was a bit noisy but it didn't really bother us, might be not great for people travelling with babies/toddlers.
No wardrobes, just hangers for clothes. The two smaller rooms are quite small and have no desk, just drawers or a clothes rail, very basic. The dining table in the living room is quite small.
- Nick (10/5): Recommended place to stay. - Really enjoyed staying at Magnolia Cove. Very comfortable, great location from which to explore the Kent coast. Whitstable is a lovely town to explore, lots of walks and great fish & chips. Nothing - all great
- Emanuel (9/5): Superb - I liked that they resolved us quickly with our arrival time and without any problem, thank you very much.
- Jason (9/5): Great stay in Whitstable - Great house with a welcoming feel to it. We absolutely loved the garden facilities with the table tennis and table football which was a nice treat. The weather was good whilst we were there so we made the most of the garden. The interior of the house was good with nice size bedrooms. The kitchen was a very decent size with all that you needed. We would definitely stay there again! 😃 I don't really have anything bad to say about the property. If to mention anything it be that the 3 seater sofa in the living room is not that comfortable.I think the seating support is on its way out.
- Jamie (9/5): Superb -
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geraldine (10/5): beautiful place, location and host - close to station and beach, very friendly and responsive host
- Christian (9/5): Nice stay. Beds were comfortable. Spacious kitchen. - It was like a home from home. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable.
- Pat (8/5): Very good -
- Grachelle (10/5): We had a lovely stay. The house is near to the town and a quiet neighbourhood. Home away from home. - The cleanliness and aesthetic vibes of the house.
- Isolde (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): A great way to be together - Clean, functional and very easy for our group of 5 walkers.
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (7/5): Good location and garden, interior could do with an upgrade. - Quiet location, comfortable bed, nice garden. Lounge furniture is uncomfortable, shower is weak and basin awkward to use.
- Gemma (9/5): An easy relaxing stay. - The house is a good size and very comfortable and clean.
The garden is nice size and great for younger children to use up a bit of energy.
Parking is a bonus. Beds and linen were comfy and spotlessly clean. Bedroom 2 was a little cramped for 2 adults but that cant be helped.

- Lisa (8/5): Love Whitstable. Decent cottage for the money - We loved the garden, especially as we had a dog. Well kept, established garden. The kids loved the table tennis. The living room could do with more comfortable furniture. The green sofa is probably the most uncomfortable sofa I’ve ever sat on. The dinner table would no way be big enough for 6 and the dining chairs/benches are uncomfortable.
The bathroom basin is far too small and awkward to use.
- Clive (10/5): Perfect location, perfect house, plenty of parking. I will be back for sure. - The location is excellent, only a short walk from the harbor. The best thing is the parking. Parking spaces are a premium in the area, so having plenty of car parking space at the property is definitely a bonus. The garden and its facilities were absolutely amazing. I only booked for 2 nights. I miscalculated that one terribly and have to go back. Totally my fault.
- Nicoleta (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, clean, perfect!
- Matt (9/5): Superb - House was great, really nicely decorated and great facilities for the kids. Would happily return.
- Jason (10/5): A lovely place to stay with the family - Clean, great size and fantastic array of things for kids to do - board games, table tennis and much more ! Nothing
- Sofie (8/5): Lovely place, great value, would stay again! - Lovely garden and extra toys and games for kids!! Quite small living room but lovely nonetheless!
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Aly (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): We needed a a place to spend a couple of nights in order to attend a friend’s wedding. - cleanliness / location/ As a group of 70plus we felt the stairs could have done with a hand rail.
Similarly the bath didn’t have a non slip mat or hand holds. Our 82 year old felt unsafe.
- Deborah (8/5): perfect location for our stay for beaches and restaurants - perfect location for our stay
- Beverley (8/5): Very good - Great location, with off street parking, near the station and within easy walking distance of the beach and harbour area. Host communication was really quick and accommodated a slightly later check out which was really appreciated. As it was a working holiday, the reliable wifi and table to work at was perfect. The house was warm and quiet. Although we didn't get to use the garden as it was so cold, it would be a nice place to enjoy in nicer weather! All in all a really good stay.
- Lau (8/5): overall a very nice stay - would stay again - host communications was generally good

the garden swing ropes was in a bad state and one snapped, host repaired once informed but after we had left.
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pepita (10/5): phenomenal value, huge garden, fantastic location, super comfy beds, loved it - Fantastic location, huge garden, amazing kitchen, well proportioned bedrooms, lovely linen, super comfy beds, two lovely doubles and a bunk bed room. Phenomenal kitchen, great hob, oven, fully equipped.
