Guest Reviews
- Alex (10/5): - My wife and I came to Stepantsminda just for one night and stayed in a glamping site with a view of Mount Kazbek. The place itself is surrounded by trees, and the path goes through a pine grove.
The main impression, of course, is the view — it’s simply stunning. Inside it’s cozy: there’s a large bathtub, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, and dishes. I was pleasantly surprised that the shower gel, shampoo, and soap were of good quality, not the usual basic ones you often get in hotels. Check-in and check-out were also smooth and easy (though it’s a pity that check-in starts quite late — at 3 p.m.).
On the downside, there wasn’t enough hot water in the boiler to fill the bathtub after taking a shower. Also, there was no kitchen towel.
Overall — yes, it’s pricey, but the comfort and the view are absolutely worth it.
- Guest (9/5): A peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location, with great staff - The property was very clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dome was equipped with both AC and heaters, which made the stay very comfortable. I also really enjoyed the fresh and yummy grapes that were offered. The WiFi connection kept cutting out, even though the staff tried to fix it. Also, there’s no on-site restaurant, but fortunately, there are many restaurants within walking distance.

- Oleksandr (10/5): Great - Staying at this glamping was the best decision. I truly enjoyed every moment — the view was stunning, and the place is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Roman, who welcomed us and helped with luggage and showed everything. -

- Somaia (10/5): Your visits to Georgia will never be the same again - This is one of the best properties I have ever been in, the attention to details, the location, the view no words can describe how amazing this place is. George and Roman were amazing hosts and this is going to be a fixed stop in all our coming visits to Georgia. Not getting to spend more time in this piece of heaven
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely breathtaking views
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay here. The view from the window was amazing. The hosts were very kind. They brought us their homemade delicious honey. There is a bit narrow 30-35 meters trail, till the room, after you leave your car on parking place.
- Artem (1/5): Bad - The most shocking part was the behavior of the owner. After the stay, I received racist and xenophobic messages, which is completely unacceptable in any context – especially coming from someone responsible for hosting guests.
To make things worse, the owner pressured me to leave a high score. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Avoid it at all costs.
- Nicola (8/5): Original stay - The location with a wonderful view of Kazbegi. Very cold inside when cold outside and unbearably hot when the sun shines. Heaters and fans provided.

- Sinead (10/5): Amazing unique place to stay! - Amazing!
This is a little slice of heaven! The globe is so well equipped - we cooked in there & the variety of seating areas to relax are great. Owners are super helpful when messaging before arriving & Greta hosts. The view you wake up to is out of this world! Just be aware it’s quite steep to get to globes, including driveway for cars.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Really enjoyed my stay.
Definitely recommended.
The place itself is located to the highest point of Stepantsminda where the forest starts. So the scenery from the panoramic window is wonderful.
The staff members are very helpful and always respond very fast.
Would like to admit that few reviews were here with the negative comments, because some people might be waiting for 5-star hotel service, but we not have forget that this is the glamping near the forest, with the nice view of the mountains and you are close to nature, that is the advantage of the place and that is what makes it different and unique. As for facilities and comfort, you have everything you might need to make your stay comfortable( most of them i haven't seen in any fancy hotel). Wine glasses, champagne glasses, juice glasses, for tea, for coffee, for whiskey. The stove, the microwave, the sandwich maker, conditioners, fans, heaters, iron, bbq facilities, even the air humidifier.
It really feels that the place is made with love and care.

- Rachel (9/5): Superb - The tent was well equipped and very cozy. They staff was super responsive and very helpful. We had an issue in the cabin around 10pm and they were over within minutes to help resolve it. Would definitely stay there again! It’s a bit hard to find/get to. It’s up a muddy road and then you to climb up a steep path to the tent
- Andres (10/5): Exceptional - Roman and George are really nice and helpful guys.
The place itself is like a dream. The payment was by cash, but the owners let us know about it few days before our arrival.
- Luca (10/5): Fantastic experience and great view!!! - Fantastic view of Gergeti church, very clean and a great attention to comfort and details. Fantastic stay!!! Nothing, really.
- Tamanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martinez (10/5): Exceptional - The host was super responsive and really helpful.
Drive us around the city for some medicine and food for free.
The place is very cozy with beautiful views.
If you are looking for peace and privacy, this is the right place. After car parking, there is 30 meters of hike till the room. Because tents are located high on the hill. But this wasn't an issue for us.

- Max (10/5): One of the coolest places I've ever stayed. Can't recommend enough. - By far one of the best spots in Khazbegi. You're a short walk out of the village, up a hill, which means you have some of the best views of the surrounding mountain, with very few neighbours. The check-in process and staff were brilliant. They even delivered some homegrown grapes for us to snack on. The bubble itself is amazing and kitted out brilliantly. We went to sleep and woke up to an incredible view of the mountains. I could not recommend this place more. Nothing, it was simply amazing.
- Andrus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikita (10/5): Exceptional - It was one of the best nights during our journey around Georgia. Staff members were very kind and provided any little help we needed. We were worried about heating before arriving because the temperature outside was 3 degrees, but the tent was very warm and comfortable:)
- Anastasia (6/5): A unique glamping experience, but the comfort and amenities didn’t quite match the price. - An interesting glamping experience: a beautiful, Instagram-worthy tent surrounded by a forest with squirrels. There are plenty of cozy spots both inside and outside to relax with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. The site also has a barbecue area with firewood and branches, as well as a hammock. Thoughtful touches like yoga mats and a toaster are also provided. We had no direct interaction with the manager/owner—everything was handled via WhatsApp, and check-in and check-out were self-service. We were also given a small discount due to construction noise, which went on from early morning until late evening right next to the tents. We stayed in mid-October, when the large tent was only heated by space heaters. The first night was uncomfortably cold, but on the second night, an additional heater was provided, which made the stay much cozier. As this is glamping, it's understandable that the water is heated by a boiler, but there was only enough for one shower, and we couldn’t use the tub in the tent as the warm water ran out after filling just a quarter of it. We felt the experience didn’t quite justify the price—similar views (through glass walls, not plastic) can be found in many nearby cottages or hotels, and the bed and linens didn’t meet the expected standards for the price point. However, it’s worth considering for a one-night stay as a unique experience.
It's also important to note that having a car is more convenient, as local taxis are expensive (Bolt was 30 GEL for a 5-minute ride). Walking requires an uphill climb through the entire village.

- Bharat (10/5): Exceptional - The facilities and cleanliness of the room were fantastic. View is fabulous. They had provided heating, AC and a fan, based on our requirement and convenience, for varying temperatures during the day . Perfectly stocked kitchenette.
Very clean bathroom with hot shower and amenities.
The hosts graciously brought us fresh grapes from their farm.
Loved the stay thoroughly
- Konstantin (8/5): Very good -
- Anano (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iammadhatter (9/5): Superb - The view from the marquee is unbeatable. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. You will find a comfortable bed, refrigerator, kettle, and microwave. The bathtub in the marquee is the perfect spot for stunning photos and unwinding after a stroll. You'll find a place to rest with a beautiful view, a hammock, everything you need for a fire and roasting meat.
The wine is a fantastic bonus.
This is an excellent place for romantic getaways, breakfasts together, yoga, and just relaxing. The only downside is that it is already quite chilly in the tent in September, especially at night. There are a couple of heaters, which did the job, but if it is colder at night, it will be cold to sleep.
The heaters were on, so the light in the tent was off a couple of times. The workers fixed it right away, but I'm still not comfortable turning the heating on full.
- Minaeva (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the place.
The views are truly amazing, and the interior buthtub made our evening very special.
- Nour (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was very helpful and kind
- Hana (10/5): Exceptional - Thank you for this amazing place!
- Genalyn (10/5): Great glamping experience - We booked for 2 nights and had a great stay. It is truly a glamping experience. Everything that you will need is provided for you - even better than average hotels. There are slippers, bathrobes, towels, toiletries, shower cap, hair dryer, dental kits, complete basic kitchen and cooking amenities, basic condiments such as salt and pepper and cooking oil, bbq facilities including wood and charcoal, wine opener, bluetooth speakers - literally everything you could possibly think of. We booked the bigger tent with the bath tub. The tent had more than enough space for 2 people to comfortably move around. It can comfortably accommodate maybe 3-4 people considering there is also a second double bed in the loft. The views from the tent are beautiful. It was sunny during our first day of stay and it rained during our second day, we were fine on both days. The temperature inside the tent can be hot or can be cold too (you have to remember this is still a plastic tent), but with 2 air conditioner and 2 electric fans, you should be able to control the temperature inside to your liking. Water temperature and pressure when taking a shower was great, no complaints there. There is an outdoor deck where you can sit and drink some wine, and there is the bbq area with a hammock and sitting area where you can eat. The host was always ready to answer any question and replies quickly. Overall really a delightful stay. Although every thing is provided for you to have a great stay, you have to remember it is a glamping experience and it is a tent, not a luxury room in a 5 star hotel. You will be very close to nature. I think few people here comment negatively because they are expecting 5-star hotel facilities. The only negative I noticed was a bit of construction going on close to the tent that was causing some noise during our first day, but they stopped before night time and the noise was only minimal. Also this was not something controlled by the host. Apart from that there is really nothing to complain about.
- Kara (9/5): Superb -
- Kooy (9/5): Superb - A very good location for the sunrise view
Clean place
The owner is responsive and helpful,
If wanna use the bathtub, will need to leave enough time for the water to be reheated again.
However, can check with owner and owner respond quickly

- Swarada (10/5): This is a beautiful experience, although it is a tiny hike up from the car parking and we had to carry our bags it was t - The property is located at a perfect spot, it is extremely private yet accessible and feels safe There is absolutely nothing to dislike

- Bart (9/5): Amazing views, top location and very helpfull staff. - Very efficient place with a amazing view.
We arrived when it was cloudy and getting a little dark which made it a bit of a challenge to find the place but once we woke up in the sunlight, man, what can i say..
What a view, what a location.
Next level glamping, absolutely amazing.
The housewine on arrival was a very nice gesture as well as well as the offer to light the bbq area.
Why would you book a hotel if you can have this experience?? No proper wine opener but that was sorted quickly
- Malou (10/5): Was one of a kind experience being in a glamorous camping. The quality of service is as good as the place which is quie - Cozy, good value for money and hospitable host. Nothing
- Arush (10/5): Exceptional -
- K (1/5): STAY AWAY!! Or book with risk - Stay away from this accomodation. They canceled my booking a night before due to their facility issue. What actual problem was their customer service. Check their Google review how they respond to negative reviwes they even insult people ( I was asked “ Are you normal human?”) and be aware of what kind of people you will have to deal with if you book this place and fall into any issue. I booked this place for my husband birthday and they absolutely ruined the plan by canceling and no compensation was offered / paid. Even though I was faced to find alternative place somewhere special for his birthday a night before 8pm at very last minutes with more expensive rate while you were mean to enjoy your holiday. Don’t take risk to book here if you wish your stay to be secured and stress-free, there are only 2 rooms in this property if they have issue you just get canceled and who you deal with is just the owner who has poor customer service standard.
Any issues of their property is at their cost not to be guest’s but they will respond you
“ We are more disappointed than you not making any money.” …..

- Roeland (10/5): Spectacular views - Waking up to view over the mountains and monastery was spectacular! The glamp was well equipped from airco and heaters, to plaids for sitting outside in the evenings, to an umbrella. A nice touch was the bouquet of fresh flowers on the terrace when we arrived.
- Lemke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent accommodation to rest in nature
- Goletiani (10/5): Exceptional - Super nice place. The views are amazing. The room and kitchen are equipped with all necessary appliances.
- Giovanni (10/5): Exceptional - Dreamstay
- Rahaf (4/5): Not as you see on social media - The location and view were nice.
A steep stairs till you reach your room. The place was very smelly and hot during the day because it's covered by plastic
The heater doesn't have the capacity to fill the bath tub with hot water.
Matress was horrible and didn't feel the bed was clean at all.
Wifi was disconnecting every 5 min
- Broto (8/5): Very good - Location, view, confort, kitchen The way from parking site to the tent. Walking about 30-40 m with inclined path is quite challenging, especially when you bring your luggages from parking lots to the tent.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - The place is extremely nice, very clean and modern. The host George is very helpful. Nothing at all
- Magda (6/5): Beautiful view of the Mount Kazbek but some issues need to be addressed - Amazing location with breathtaking views, perfect for dining on comfy cushions. Lying in bed and seeing Mount Kazbek is something I'll never forget. The host is super responsive, and the cozy, unique ambiance adds charm. However, the bathroom had a persistent, unpleasant smell that was quite off-putting and detectable in the room as well. For a rate of 150 euros per night, which is more than the minimum monthly salary in this country, a higher standard is expected. Addressing this issue would make the stay perfect

- Whinying (9/5): Great for 1-2 nights, amazing view and relaxing vibes! - This place has a lovely view of the mountains, if you have a car, it is really not that far from the town. Very relaxing accommodation. Staff was kind to help us with our luggages, it a short 30-40m uphill (but to be expected for such an accommodation). The wall of the toilet is slanted, so a small issue for taller people. But manageable.
- Omran (10/5): "Don't miss the opportunity to experience living in this place." - "A truly wonderful and fantastic experience. The place is safe, clean, and comfortable. The weather was very cold at night, but a heater and blankets were available. Many thanks to Roman; he was very kind and very helpful in dealing with us." "The location is far, but the place is worth visiting. Don't miss this opportunity. The road is enjoyable with its stunning natural scenery."

- Aditya (10/5): Exceptional - The host was kind enough to help and personally take of the Guests in case of any requirement. The location and the view is impeccable. Nothing
- Chirag1410 (10/5): Dream Stay - Everything !! Amazing View, Luxurious Glamp ! Excellent staff 'Roma' even offered us free stay extension in the event of road closures due to heavy snowfall !! Nothing

- Vidhya (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely time. The glamp is so well made and its very thoughtful to keep everything like 5 star hotel.
Absolutely enjoyed the experience. It was perfect
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing view!
In the evening, when the sun goes down and all those lights outside are turning on, it looks like a dreamplace.
