• Anja (1/5): Schlechte Unterkunft ohne Fenster und Warmwasser - lieber nicht buchen. - Der Pool. Die Unterkunft hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen und entsprach weder den Fotos noch den meisten Bewertungen. Wir sind nach einer schlechten Nacht schnell ausgezogen. Als wir am späten Nachmittag ankamen, trafen wir keine weiteren Gäste, sondern nur einen Hausmeister und seine Familie an. Das hat uns schon ein bisschen gewundert. Der Hausmeister versuchte, uns zunächst einen Bungalow mit einem winzigen Kühlschrank zu geben, nach dem Hinweis auf die Bilder bei booking.com gab es dann einen anderen Bungalow. Unsere schlechte Bewertung beruht insgesamt auf drei Punkten: 1. Die Unterkunft hat KEINE Fensterscheiben oder sonstigen Fensterschutz. Öffnet man die Holz-Fensterläden, ist man quasi schutzlos vor der Außenwelt (Lärm, Ungeziefer, Tiere). Es gibt null Privatsphäre. Die Alternative ist das Wohnen in Dunkelheit. Wir hatten bei unserem kurzen Aufenthalt "Besuch" von Kakerlaken und einer Fledermaus. 2. Es gab kein warmes Wasser. Also grundsätzlich nicht. Nicht einmal einen entsprechenden Wasserhahn. Dies war der Beschreibung nicht zu entnehmen. Bei einem geplanten Aufenthalt von 7 Nächten, möchte man ja auch irgendwie mal duschen. 3. Der Bungalow war sehr schmutzig. Der Boden war verdreckt und eine verschimmelte Orange lag in der Ecke. Das Geschirr war unglaublich ekelhaft. Es hat zudem durchgeregnet. Das Dach ist nur mit Blech bedeckt. Bei einem normalen Regenschauer versteht man nichts mehr. Wir sind nach einem Tag geflohen und haben uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. Die war deutlich günstiger und viel besser. Wir haben bei booking.com reklamiert und hier auch Unterstützung erhalten. Die Nächte, in denen wir dort nicht gewohnt haben, wurden storniert und sollten durch Rustika Lodge erstattet werden. Das ist trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage nicht passiert. Auch fast vier Monate später nicht. Das will man wohl aussitzen. Wir haben nachträglich noch einmal alle Bewertungen gelesen und festgestellt, dass die hohen Bewertungen stets aus dem Inland kamen.
• Mau3078 (7/5): Insatisfecho! - La vegetación del lugar, el área de piscina. La habitación en general, los utensilios olían mal, eran de plástico. Las camas poco confortables, los abanicos insuficientes, baja presión de agua, en el fregadero y el baño.
• Ignatas (10/5): Nice place with swimming pool - Big enough swimming pool, that is being cleaned every morning (kids liked it a lot) and the shared area next to swimming pool with table football was nice. We were lucky to have all the area just for ourselves. Super nice guy taking care of the property! I think when there are more people staying, I would like to have a bit more privacy, as the houses are not isolated at all, so basically you could hear any conversation.

• Sandy (2/5): Not worth the money. Very basic and dirty. Not possible to sit outside to relax. - Swimmingpool was small but oke. Location fine but you need a car to go to the more beautifull beaches. When we arrived, no one knew anything about the reservation. Only a Spanish-speaking boy who was on duty was present, but he could not immediately give us the key to our house. We've waited some time in the heat. We got the owner on the phone, but everything was very impersonal and messy. Arrival at the house was very disappointing. It was very primitive. It wasn't clean either. The kitchen equipment was very minimal and dirty. There was a dirty mop lying around in the bedroom and a dirty old sponge for washing dishes. Very old furniture inside. Outside there was a small wooden bench where you could sit, but it was not really comfortable at all. You get a backage on it. There was also no table. Moreover we were sitting in front of our house looking at the back of a large television. That was our view. The TV was always on at a loud volume because the staff were slumped over and watching it. Unfortunately, sitting outside to relax or reading a book was because of that not an option. Because our room was next to the common space we felt no privacy. So we decided to spent as little time as possible on this campsite. This is not really what we had imagined from a holiday. Therefore the accomodation was really overpriced. We paid $90,- a night but for less than that price we've had much better in Costa Rica. This felt like a scam. Edit: Thank you for your reaction. But the location and the payment contant is not the problem I mentioned in my review. This was no problem for us. The reason for the bad experience was that the appartement was very basic, old and not clean. This kind of things are not visible on a photo. The other problem was the noise (especially TV) and the view from the common space that it didn’t felt comfortabel to spent time to relax at the house. And this is our reality.
• Bethan (1/5): Not for us! - Not much Booked to stay here 3 nights but left after one. Our cabin was right next door to the communal area. No privacy. The owner played loud Spanish music for the entire time we were there,, did turn it off around 9-10pm but played again at 9am. Free coffee that was extremely diluted. Woke up to ants in our living room are and kitchen.
