Guest Reviews

- Chris (10/5): Cornwall holiday - very quiet neighborhood, possibility of driving right to the door of the house
- Priya (10/5): Cosy, Clean, Serene - It was a beautiful lodge! I stayed here with my mum, as I wanted to give her a birthday present. She loved it!
The lodge was cosy and clean, it made a great place to relax after exploring. Easy to access and was the perfect home away from home. The hosts were lovely and answered questions promptly. I am allergic to detergents and they even went the extra mile to accommodate for this, the little carton of milk was a lovely touch.
I am not one to write reviews but this stay was exceptional, will definitely book again. Most of Cornwall being a 15-31 minute drive away, was a bonus!
- Valentina (10/5): -
- Joe (10/5): - Very clean and had everything we need. Close to St. Ives and supermarkets.
- Helen (7/5): Quirky hideaway - Hot water, adequate cooking equipment, bed comfortable, easy to hang washing out if required, just 1.5m from Asda to buy food, very clean A bit small space downstairs, couldn’t get the tv to work but did have Netflix ,the ladder to the sleeping area very steep with no barrier so potential for someone to fall down
- Ester (10/5): -
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (7/5): Good -

- Tafadzwa (8/5): Very good -

- Adoadi (6/5): Pleasant - The room was clean. No toiletries, just a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom. The bathroom was quite small. The room itself was ok for an overnight stay but we were travelling for 7 weeks with large suitcases. There was no space to keep these without being in the way. I didn't find the mattress to be very comfortable either.
- Jenna (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location and value for money!
- Eddie (10/5): Spot on! - Very relaxing stay and great location to go out to see what Cornwall has to offer. Close to town center and a local beaches.
- Mark (10/5): A perfect stay - The location was perfect, we loved the quirkiness of the lodge, was very comfortable, we slept well, we couldn't fault anything..
We will definitely return here.. There was nothing to dislike
- Dave (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely place to stay in, a great location, quiet and peaceful, didn't meet the hosts but gave us information about getting there and process when we arrived, everything clean and tidy, milk on arrival so we could have a cup of tea, just all around a wonder place to stay. (Not a bad comment, just an idea) Steps to bed a little steep (we knew this before we arrived). Maybe a hand rail fitted to the steps somehow may be possible.
- Torres (9/5): Superb -
- Hannah (9/5): Superb -
- Dagmara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fawcett (10/5): Exceptional - It was a cute little lodge. Good location. Lovely inside and out. Very clean. Mel and steve were very accommodating and lovely to talk to. Amazing service from both of them The wifi wasn't the best but not to bad coz nobody can get hold of you lol. The mattress was good but could of done with a being raised slightly to get it off the floor and to let the mattress have abit of give.
- Gordon (10/5): Comfortable quiet -
- Sam (6/5): Beautiful lodge, location perfect, surroundings lovely, only downside was the bed unfortunately. - The lodge itself was beautiful, everything you need in there for a short stay. The bed wasn’t comfortable at all, it was a bit of putting as well that it was just a mattress on the floor. We stay in lots of places and usually around the same budget and have never encountered this.
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (4/5): Cramped and uncomfortable. - It looks nice, easy to find, on-site parking and well situated for exploring west Cornwall. Mattress was very thin and sprung, bedding is very cheap and thin, sheets and duvet cover are synthetic, ladder to reach mezzanine was extremely steep to the point we had been given an insurance waiver in the event that we injured ourselves while using it, sofa is extremely uncomfortable with a solid bar running underneath your knees, breakfast bar is extremely cramped for 2 people but nowhere else to eat inside, bathroom extremely cramped, fridge makes a lot of noise between 3 and 4 in the morning which woke us up every night, no flooring has been installed just a very cold concrete base, nothing to make coffee with. It looks nice but probably the least comfortable and relaxing place we have ever stayed.
- Bryony (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely and well appointed accommodation. Quiet setting and very comfortable.
