Over - Beautiful decor in rooms and amazing balinese garden and surroundings. Very friendly and kind staff happy to help with any queries. Also was a highlight starting everyday with the delicious cooked breakfast and the view of the garden. Perfect location away from the main road but still walking distance to shops, bars, palaces and monkey forest. Facilities a little outdated and no hot water in the shower which is fine for a short stay.

It is tucked away in the narrow, historic streets near the Monkey Forest, and despite being close to the center, it remains quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful. They assisted us with arranging our itinerary and helped us rent a scooter.

• Rich71 (10/5): Rustig en netjes - Een heerlijke rustige omgeving op niet meer dan 10 lopen van het centrum van Ubud. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en een lekker zwembad hebben ons de Nyepi tijd fantastisch gemaakt. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug komen. Als ik al een minpuntje moet maken is dat hoogstens het feit dat je er niet met de auto kan komen. Maar dat geeft juist weer het rust effect en het is niet ver lopen.

Leider hat das Restaurant in Covid geschlossen und wurde nicht mehr geöffnet, was derart nicht klar war. Frühstück gut, jedoch einfach.
• Rudy (2/5): Een ramp, heb op al onze Azië reizen nog nooit zo een teleurstellend verblijf gehad, waren blij dat - Personeel was eigenlijk wel vriendelijk. De ligging is voortreffelijk. Bij aankomst was de handzeep leeg en niet aangevuld. De kamer rook muf en was niet erg fris. De waterkoker had een snoer van slechts 50cm. en waar hij stond was bovendien geen stopcontact, ik moest hem op het nachtkastje zetten om hem te kunnen gebruiken. Koffie en melk werden niet aangevuld, heb zelf koffie en melk gekocht. Tassen werden soms wel en dan weer niet afgewassen of ververst. De safe was "broken" en onbruikbaar. Bij onze medereizigers stond de safe gewoon los in de kamer, kon je zo meenemen. Handdoeken zijn van het hele verblijf (5 dagen) niet ververst geweest. Bij het karige ontbijt was er per persoon 1 tas koffie en 1 zakje creamer voorhanden. Er werd niet aangevuld. De jacuzi was ook "broken" en het zwembad was niet erg netjes.

The bathroom was spacious with good shower facilities. The balcony was a delightful place to sit, overlooking the lush garden. Simply - there was nothing to dislike! Only leaving this beautiful place!

Il bagno aveva la tavoletta del wc macchiata dal tempo e la doccia perdeva ovunque. Le tende erano strappate in più punti ... insomma qualche piccola accortezza e pulizia in generale.

Great staff, good breakfast and lovely pool. - Location is perfect, walking distance to major attractions, rice paddys, ridge walk, shops, bars, restaurants. Just off the main road but quiet. A nice relief from the busy atmosphere Ubud has become. The staff are very helpful and happy! The pool is a refreshing and welcome sight at the end of the day. The hotel is looking a little 'tired' however very clean and has everything you need. Some window screens had minor holes but if you are an insect phobe, this could be problematic. Some doors were not closing properly. The entry doors have had multiple locks installed and now down to a big key and padlock. The hotel could do with a little tlc. Pool area could do with some repairs to coping etc.

• Dawn (10/5): I enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back again. - The breakfast was ok but I don’t care for pancakes or eggs. Most people seemed to really like them. I ended up eating toast and yogurt. The yogurt with honey was excellent and the toast was good. The location was convenient to everything and I was able to walk to everything I wanted to do. The staff was amazing and very kind and helpful. I had to walk in from the bigger road. It is not far and it was safe, it was just a surprise and I wish I had known ahead of time that the car could not get to the actual hotel.

Bon choix pour le petit déjeuner que vous commandez chaque soir pour l'heure que vous souhaitez pour le lendemain matin, comme ça pas d'attente le matin ! Vaste chambre et salle de bain, lits confortables. Attention l'hôtel n'est pas accessible en voiture, 100 ou 200m à faire à pied, c'est une toute petite impasse, c'est aussi ce qui permet d'être tant au calme ! Rien.

• Ikuko (10/5): - 観光に行くにも、お買い物にもとても便利な場所にホテルはあります。 ウブド王宮、ウブドマーケットは徒歩5分以内で到着します。 ウブドマーケットは、早朝6時頃に行くと新鮮な野菜やフルーツ、そしてお惣菜も買えます！ このホテルに滞在すると、毎朝早朝のマーケットを楽しめます。 オーナーのオカワツテイさんは、とてもフレンドリーで英語が上手です。 ウブドの華やかな通りから少し奥に入っているので、とても静かな環境のホテルです。 建物が美術館の様なバリスタイルです、それ故に古い建物のせいかカビ臭いのが気になった点です。

Les petits déjeuners sont bons mais répétitifs. L’espace piscine et jardin est très bien. Un petit coup de jeune (et de nettoyage parfois) aux infrastructures . Le potentiel est énorme !!!

It was literally raining frangipanis in the garden. It’s an older hotel showing some signs of aging (bathroom and pool tiles) but it was so much better than staying in a Westernised hotel room!!

• TINI (10/5): Rustgevend en supervriendelijk verblijf op een toplocatie. - Super vriendelijke mensen en ontvangst, super lokatie . Midden in het centrum en toch heerlijk stil. Heerlijk ontbijtje op je eigen terras geserveerd . We komen hier zeker weer terug bij ons volgende bezoek. De eigenaresse heeft ook prachtige verhalen , prachtig om naar te luisteren . We hadden de familie kamer . Alles beviel super .

La situation de l'hôtel est exceptionnelle, au calme et à deux pas du palais et du marché, un spa à 20 mètres propose de supers massages, Le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympathique et attentif. La piscine est la bienvenue après une journée d'excursion. Le lit très très ferme, ...et problème de flexible douche

• Claude (1/5): A Fuir - Rien car nous nous avons préféré partir 5 minutes après avoir constaté l'état de la chambre, donc nous n'y sommes pas restés. Três déçus par la chambre,. Lorsque vous y entrez une forte odeur de moisi, de vieux bien imprégnée partout vous prends a la gorge. Pas de canapé mais 2 fauteuils défoncés La salle d'eau est obsolète. Avant la douche, il devait y avoir une baignoire mais ils n'ont pas changé la robinetterie qui reste très basse, le rideau de douche est sale, le lavabo est sale. La terrasse est communicante avec les autres donc pas d'intimité. La piscine était sale. Le petit déjeuner pout le lendemain devait impérativement être choisi à l'arrivée (la personne a insisté pour nous faire remplir un papier avant même de monter dans la chambre, donc l' accueil pas terrible). Il est constitué d'une boisson chaude ou froide et uniquement un plat donc très succinct. Il faut aussi donner l'heure à laquelle vous voudrez déjeuner ! Bref, nous sommes partis à la recherche d'un autre hôtel. Nous avons contacté Booking.com, nous avons laissé sur leur site un message. Booking a noté qu'ils allaient nous contacter très rapidement. Cela fait plus de 6 jours et nous n'avons pas eu de retour de leur part. C'est la 1ère fois que cela nous arrive.

• John (7/5): Very traditional in a great location. - The location is fabulous just off the busy Main Street in the heart of UBUD oh and very close To “lokal bar”. Okawati herself is amazing and loves to chat! Rather tired and very traditional but the owners were fabulous and made us very welcome.

• Gianfranco (7/5): Very nice - Resort molto carino, staff super disponibile, la posizione è ottima nel centro di Ubud, il resort non da sulla strada motivo per cui è molto silenzioso. Il resort è molto carino ma andrebbe curato meglio e tenuto conto di alcuni dettagli e aspetti: Gli asciugamani per la doccia sono molto deteriorati e uno aveva un buco piccolo. La tenda della doccia era un pochino sporca di muffa (bagno senza finestre). La colazione è mooolto basic anche se il frullato di frutta era molto buono!!. Se paghi con carta chiedono un extra del 3%. Noi siamo sempre stati fuori dal resort visitando Bali per cui quanto sopra descritto non è stato un problema.
• Vladimir (9/5): - Top location in central Ubud yet very quiet. Breakfast delivered to the room. Very spacious balcony. Lovely garden. Overall a great experience in a nice room with antique furniture. Great overall value for money.
• Jean-Claude Piris (10/5): - Excellent emplacement, chambre vaste et au calme, rideaux occultants, meubles très bien, terrasse superbe avec vue sur jardin, un fauteuil extrêmement confortable et table avec chaises où le breakfast très bon m’a été servi. Dans sa gamme de prix, difficile à battre! Pas d’eau chaude au lavabo pour se raser. Un sachet de “creamer “ aurait été apprécié pour le café que lon peut se préparer dans la chambre.
• Rohit (4/5): - Location was excellent, right on the High Street of the Ubud. The staff were very polite and friendly. The outside area, around pool was nice. The actual room was a disappointment way smaller than the photo suggested. The bathroom may need an upgrade too. The AC was quite noisy, couldn't sleep properly, the staff were apologetic about it but didn't do anything about it.
• Marelle (7/5): Traditional boutique hotel in central Ubud - Location was good, walking distance to the centre of Ubud, but no street noise once inside the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor seating area with very comfortable sunbed. Thick bathtowels. Bful traditional Balinese furniture and bed. Bathroom outdated and too dark. Torn curtain in front of window and very old bathmat. Loose toilet seat. Torn mosquito net. No safety box as advertised.
• Olaia (10/5): Oasis en Ubud - La casa es una preciosidad, la piscina un oasis. Está ubicada a escasos metros de las calles principales y aún así no se oye el bullicio de coches y motos. El.personal....un lujo, la atención de la dueña y de los chicos que en ella trabajan...no tengo palabras, amables, educados, detallistas. Nuestra terraza todas las mañanas aparecía con flores frescas. El desayuno perfecto.

• Daniel (8/5): Recommended - Conveniently located in central Ubud, near the sights, the shops and the restaurants, yet very serene and relaxing ambiance, with a lovely courtyard featuring lush tropical vegetation. The rooms are beautifully decorated in the traditional Balinese style and the staff is always polite and helpful The bathrooms need some updating, especially the showers. The location in a side alley means that you can’t drive directly to the hotel, and suitcases need to be carried for a stretch of the road. The water in the pool could have been cleaner
• Laura (9/5): Great spot! - Staff were incredibly kind during my stay, they assisted me with my luggage to the room and looked after all questions I had. The breakfast was really tasty every morning and I recommend anyone to order the pancakes! The pool area was great also for cooling off after the hot days. The hotel is very centrally located in the town of Ubud so you can easily walk everywhere but you're off the main street to avoid any noise at night.
