- Chinchen (10/5): Wonderful cottage, beautifully done with lots to do and see ! - Wonderful stay ! Comfy, clean everything you need even milk in the fridge eggs and bread , tea coffee etc ! Wonderful garden and a short walk to a pub !
- Ian (10/5): - Very chilled place - nice atmosphere
- Jacquie (10/5): Absolutely lovely. - Fairy Cottage is absolutely lovely. It’s been laid out, furnished and equipped with great care and attention to detail. Bed is comfortable, bathroom lovely, it has everything you need for a short break and it’s a great base for exploring the area. The local pub does excellent food and the village shop is fantastic. We loved it. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Tessa (9/5): Very romantic place - A quaint magical place to stay. The facilities were high quality and there were several spots to sit - on the balcony, in the garden, in the sitting room. Nice pub down the road Quite close to the A40 which had a few juggernauts hurtling past
- Alice (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - This property felt special, it’s an 18th century home and despite the look from the outside it is spacious, modern and homely. The parking facilities were good. The hosts were amazing, very responsive to our messages and left fresh bread, milk and jams for us upon arrival, this was a very nice touch after a 3h drive. There was nothing I didn’t like

- Bridget (10/5): Wonderful stay, hosts were friendly and helpful but non intrusive. Great break for myself, husband and the dog. ***** - The accommodation was a lovely little cottage well equipped and furnished to a high standard. I walking distance to shop and pub Garden not fully enclosed, open driveway leads on to main road
- Brian (10/5): - Welcome pack was very nice. Location was ideal for visiting local attractions and crown Inn is a short walk for a nice meal. Looks as if a lot of thought went into setting the cottage up. Would love to stay again in wamer weather to find some nice local walks. Everything was fine.
- Alyson (9/5): It is a beautiful place to stay with lovely touches that make it feel special and location for local walks and attractio - The property is very well equipped and although small it is so beautifully presented downstairs with everything you need - the upstairs bedroom area has the wow factor and is a lovely space. The wifi and tv are not great for full service however you do get full signal on mobile to use your data and do get a wide range of channels but couldn’t use the streaming services.
- Kim (10/5): A magical place for a relaxing break - Beautifully furnished, well equipped cottage. Caitlin was lovely and very helpful. Some lovely surprise treats such as butter, eggs, bread, milk and jams were left for us along with some beauty treats.
We had a fabulous relaxing stay.
There is a great pub a village shop a 2 minute walk away, we had some lovely meals at the pub. A secure area to sit outside with the dog would be perfect. There is a lot of outside space but our dog is a bit of an escape artist and the cottage is on a main road.
- Angela (10/5): Fairy Cottage is a wonderful haven, a unique gem. -
- kaylamajaney (10/5): Perfect little retreat - Quick answer:It's Clean, comfortable, well decorated, dog friendly.
Detailed answer: Fairy cottage is a little slice of heaven, it has all you could need for a stay. Welcome package of eggs, bread, jam, butter and honey was a lovely touch. It's quiet and peaceful, with a lovely garden to walk through with the dog to a field at the back. We stayed when it was quite warm and kept it cool just fine (I don't do well in heat). We went out in the mornings with the dog and visited Raglan and Goodrich castles, we stayed in, in the afternoons to keep cool. A fan is provided which helped. It's well located with a local run shop open all day, and not far from the town centre.
The bedroom has a barn door onto a balcony which was lovely, spent a lot of time watching the butterflies from there. The beds comfortable and it's a spacious room with the turret ceiling which is impressive.
The bathroom has a walk in shower, which is amazing, good water pressure and temperature. Bath robes and towels provided, as well as, toiletries.
There's a lovely little front garden with bistro table and it very much has a fairy feel to it. If I had to say one thing. There's no freezer. Just a small top section in the fridge that wasn't cold enough to freeze our ice packs.
- Stanley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glennyboyo (10/5): The property is full of charm and perfectly located for exploring the area. - We had a wonderful stay at Fairy Cottage. The property is full of charm and perfectly located for exploring the area. Inside, everything was beautifully presented with top-quality facilities and an array of lovely, fragrant toiletries and cleaning products throughout. The outdoor space was ideal — secure enough to let the dogs out safely, and with the added bonus of a large field just beyond the garden. A truly relaxing and enjoyable stay! The Wi-Fi didn't work for 3 days and would have been nice to watch a good film in the evening on Netflix, etc. But not a major problem as we could watch standard channels. We also could use mobile data on phones.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ali (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely cottage, friendly hosts, great welcome. Provided items to improve your stay such as bread, milk and eggs. Clean cottage and very comfy bed. Added extras included such as shampoo etc. Would highly recommend and would certainly book again.
- Pippa (10/5): A magical relaxing stay, local walks for dogs, and such a beautiful cottage in a beautiful area - It was so comfortable, home from home Nothing I didn’t like
- Simon (10/5): Go and book it right now! You won’t be disappointed - Super hosts. Many nice touches
- Debbie (10/5): Cosy, quaint and a really lovely cottage. - The small details left to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Really liked as well you can tell the property is trying to be as eco friendly as possible. As it’s an old, lofty building, it can get a bit chilly when the heating goes off. Blankets, duvets and underfloor heating helped through.
- Quentin (9/5): All as described and I was welcomed warmly by the hosts. - Parking right by the cottage Stairs were somewhat awkward to negotiate
- Nicola (10/5): A perfect place to relax - The accommodation was cosy and beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming.
- Charlotte (10/5): Quiet, peaceful cottage - Beautiful well appointed cottage, clean and nicely designed. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Friendly hosts and a nice touch to leave fresh milk, eggs, bread and jams. Thank you for the birthday message and flowers... we would live to return. Nothing 😊

We had treats to greet us and full complimentary Jam, Honey, butter, milk, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Eggs & Bread..... Much more then we could of ever expected 😃.... Lovely touch. D
idn't find the hairdryer until the last morning before leaving..... But only mentioning this because nothing is perfect... Minor issue. Fairy Cottage is a beautiful little place.
- Alison (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful area. - The cottage is immaculately presented, clean and comfortable. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise , generous and high quality. We felt like we were staying in a 5 star luxury hotel with lovely toiletries and thick, cosy bathrobes. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and at home , they had clearly thought carefully about all those little extras that guests appreciate.
- Caroline (10/5): Romantic, Relaxing and Enjoyable - The Tower was quaint and romantic. Our hosts had gone the extra mile to make sure we had everything we may need there was milk, bread, eggs, butter, tea, coffee and even some sweets so didn’t need to take anything with us they even a gave us some Welsh cakes as they knew we were from Wales. The cottage it self had toiletries, towels and even bath robes what more could you want. Our host were most welcoming and available if we needed anything. There was nothing we didn’t like
- Shane (10/5): Perfect retreat to relax when visiting local area. A***** - Fantastic stay in Lea Tower. Greeted by the lovely hosts who kindly accommodated our needs for child and dog. Lovely touch to have welcome items eggs, milk, orange juice, bread, butter and essentials tea coffee honey jam & toiletries . Warm & cosy with great attention to detail. Being the first guest was a privilege and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay would have loved to have stayed longer. Great local shop within walking distance. Great local spaces to explore with family and dog. Coppett Hill being one of our favourites. Selection of good local restaurants/ pubs within easy reach by car Nothing
