- Samyr (1/5): Scam! Don't waste your time. - Nothing. Several issues that have made my stay impossible. The property was advertised as being 3 minutes from the Egyptian Museum, but upon arrival, I discovered it is actually a 20-minute walk away. It took over an hour and a half of exchanging messages and making multiple calls with the attendant to even locate the correct address. Upon reaching the property, the neighborhood was entirely different from what was advertised, and the rooms were in an unacceptable, filthy condition. It is not a place I feel comfortable staying in. Furthermore, the owner repeatedly contacted me about payment, despite the fact that I had already sent confirmation and a bank statement showing proof of payment. He then insisted I cancel my booking and pay in cash, which I found highly suspicious and inappropriate. I didn't feel safe in that situation and left the premises to find alternative accommodation. I was exhausted and concerned for my safety. Don't waste your time in this place.
