Guest Reviews
- Redbelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (1/5): Disappointed - Not alot really The property feels like it is unfinished. It has been rushed to start making money.
Cheap beds and furniture.
The bathroom was awful.
Radiator controls broken.
No cleaning stuff in the kitchen, we had to buy washing up liquid and sponges.
I've been trying for over a week to get an invoice for my stay but tye company are not replying to me and not answering calls.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (4/5): Fortunately we were only sleeping there for one night. - It was close to the venue Struggled to get into the place as the front door would not open could not get any response from the company. Had to pay extra after I had all ready paid I would not off paid the amount for the place . The back garden was over run with weeds and the settee was to small for all of us to sit on. The towels were to small no hand towels.
- Hermie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (6/5): Average property , nothing more than basic - Location good Garden was not kept , and was tidy .
- Joshua (8/5): Very good - The place was clean and was in a quiet enough neighbourhood. No parking for the property which did make it awkward to get a spot so would recommend to try to sort that out in the future.
- Lucy (9/5): Comfortable stay - Comfortable and nicely presented. Was advertised as an apartment which is a bit confusing as it's a 2 bed house but this was great for us.
- Deepak (9/5): Lovely and clean house. Good value for money. - 1. Nice location
2.Very clean house with required essentials.
3.Comfortable beds. Road side parking only and wasn't always easy to get one outside the house during the weekend. Was a lot easier during the week day though.
- Francisca (9/5): Superb - Clean and comfortable Needs hooks in bedrooms for towels, etc.
Bathroom tired
Drying up cloth useless
Shed in garden very sad
- Maha (5/5): Fine - It is nice big and clean Be aware of hidden fees (insurance) also £30 for early check in
Parking and is really difficult to find
- George (8/5): Excellent accommodation. - Good location. Spacious and clean. Nothing
- Two (8/5): Read all the information in detail before booking - Lovely cosy house, very clean and had mostly everything needed for a comfortable stay. Convenient for travel around this part of Kent as on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. A bit of a walk into the centre of Tunbridge Wells and a steep hill on the way back but OK if you're fairly fit. Letting agents very helpful and always available by phone, which was just as well! The electronic "boarding pass", payment system and damage bond. Options were to pay up a £250 returnable deposit or a one off unreturnable £30. Even though we'd given our details, the system kept asking for payment and we couldn't move to check in or out until this was sorted. It didn't make for a relaxing start and end to the holiday as we don't like giving out bank details repeatedly. It felt as if we were treated as renting on a long term basis rather than a week, though we understand that the agents have had problems in the past. Plus point that the agents always answered our phone calls straight away. Unfortunately it would put us off using the property again.
Be aware that the stairs are steep and narrow with an interesting set of steps between the bedrooms. Probably not suitable for young families (also big enough for 2 but might be cramped for more) or those with mobility or balance issues.
- Ian (7/5): Nice House but Some Drawbacks. - The accommodation was comfortable, all of the furnishings beds, sofa, storage etc all looked brand new and in great condition, the kitchen was well stocked with modern appliances etc.
The accommodation was very clean and well presented. The bathroom/toilet was on the ground floor which made it inconvenient. The parking wasn't great being in an area of old terraced properties the on street parking was pot luck. The garden and patio wasn't well kept therefore uninviting.
- Jenny (5/5): Passable -
- Kerry (5/5): Overpriced - TV in each room. Nespresso machine Location not great. Garden a wreck. Geyser was off and only realised that when trying to shower that evening. Wrong code supplied for key on booking.com
- Devianttravel (6/5): Ok for a few nights - Nice sofas and TV in the lounge. Good firm bed. The place is a little dated. The only bathroom/toilet is downstairs so in the night you have to go down steep stairs to use the facilities. The pots and pans could use more lids. No allocated space so parking is a nightmare.
- Yuk (2/5): Very poor - harsh term of stay
Overprotecting Landlords,
Damage Waiver
30.00 GBP
Safety Deposit GBP250.it is not fair to me , I never need to paid deposit to book a hotel .
The host request to clean up and rubbish , but I have already paid the cleaning fee .
And I am very disappointed of the host inever respond my question .
- Linda (9/5): Lovely property, clean and spacious. Great location. - Clean and comfortable. Well equipped. Really comfy beds. Lovely house. Alex was so helpful when we locked ourselves out (be aware the front door is self locking!) We’ll definitely be back in the future. Would have been nice to be able to sit in the garden but was very overgrown and no table or chairs, however it didn’t spoil our stay.
- Tristan (8/5): tidy, comfortable and convenient. - clean and nice rooms throughout. strange layout of flat, pretty easy to hear neighbours.
NO SALT AND PEPPER IN THE KITCHEN.
- Simon (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (8/5): Nice stay in good location - Nice house in a good location, close to the railway station and local facilities, comfortable although hard bed. Good facilities throughout, fairly easy parking, if not outside the house then just around the corner. Good communication with the host and easy self check in / out. We were only two but if four staying there's not really enough seating in the lounge, could do with a couple of extra chairs. Nice garden area, again a few chairs outside would be nice.
