- Nancy (10/5): Fantastic - Manager was very helpful in arranging a trip to town and a boat ride to see icebergs Nothing. Everything was great
- Rob (10/5): An incredible hotel in a remote location - Amazing staff

- bogdan (9/5): fabulous stay on a small island in East Greenland - BTW the northern lights are spectacular there - Amazing unique hotel in literally the middle of nowhere - well, if a small island in East Greenland can be considered nowhere. Anyway, for a single unique hotel on that island, the service is quite impressive. They offer also dinner and breakfast possibilities, which is a saver (if you do not want to go fishing or hunting in the wild) the dog on a chain - but since it is the traditional way of keeping the sledge dogs during summer, I could not complain

- Micha (9/5): - Great breakfast and dinner, very comfortable accommodation.
- Karen (10/5): - Beautiful location. Jacob is the best. A remote location right near airport. Walk to the village and get a feel for the simple life of the people and culture

- Andrew (10/5): - Located close to the airport Hotel Kulusuk is a great place to start or finish your trip to East Greenland. The rooms are basic but comfortable and exceptionally clean. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful.

- Simon (10/5): A great launchpad for an epic holiday. - Great welcome and food. Cozy, clean room and friendly staff. Jakob very helpful and pours a good glass of red wine. :-) Many thanks for a memorable stay.

- Kaletski (10/5): Perfect! - This is an incredible place. Food was great and beds were super comfortable. Jakob was super responsive and clearly wanted to make sure everyone had what they needed. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Arranged for atvs to explore the island when we didn’t have anything booked. We will be back!
- Capelotti (10/5): Exceptional - From the personal airport pick-up to the remarkable extension om account of a canceled flight, the staff and especially the hotel manager were absolutely tops. Absolutely nothing.
- Anarchytravel (8/5): Remarkably Good Hotel in One of the Most Remote Places on Earth - Hotel Kulusuk is the only hotel in Kulusuk and it's remarkably good considering the remoteness of the location and the difficulty of having to have everything flown in from outside Greenland. The rooms are basic, but clean, with good Wi-Fi and good views. The village, where the only store in Kulusuk is located, is an easy 20-minute walk away (in summer). The hotel provides transport to and from the airport and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at designated times. The owner has a big, welcoming personality and serves large glasses of wine at the hotel bar. Not that you'll have any real choice, but I do recommend staying at Hotel Kulusk when visiting this remote part of Greenland.

- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is absolutely exceptional! Jakob is the best hotel manager you will ever meet and there isn't anything he can't sort out for you. Miki and rest of the team is equally very helpful. Hotel is very cosy with amazing views . We felt like home! Thank you so much!
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monika (9/5): Warm atmosphere - The accommodation and facilities that hotel Kulusuk provides are considered luxury in this area (most of the houses in the village have no water clozet). Local staff were nice and helpful as well as manager Jacob. For someone could be Kulusuk a remote locality, but for me it's a warmy place with nice people both in the hotel and the village. I loved the breakfasts, eapecially their great kännelslur. You can hear the speech of people next room even if speaking in moderate tone - but this is how houses are built in Greenland in general.
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Jakob was super helpful all the time, food was amazing and the whole stay was exceptional.
The young waitress with short hair was smiling all the time and Miki aswell.
We will for sure remember the experience!
- David (10/5): Excellent stay. - Great staff, nice rooms, beautiful location. All good.
- Paul (9/5): Excellent — loved it. A bit basic but wonderful fun. - Remote, nice view, friendly, Jason an excellent Mgr.
- Moira (10/5): Paradise - Stunning location, comfortable hotel, great food and wine. Huge thanks to Jacob the manager for his kindness and hospitality.
- Farooq (6/5): OK stay - Breakfast was OK. Dinner could have been. Email communication to arrange for excursions/tours was not that great.
- Helen (8/5): Nice, clean, comfortable hotel with a great breakfast in a stunningly beautiful environment! - The hotel manager (Jacob) was very helpful, providing complimentary shuttle ride to and from the airport, which is nearby. We had a flight which required rebooking and he lent us his phone so we’d avoid call charges. And upon check out, he simply asked how many extra dinners we had and charged us accordingly, trusting us to be honest, which was a nice & simple touch. The kitchen staff was also very nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Finally, the dining area is open for guests to use throughout the day, so there’s a place to sit and chat or play board games. There was a risk of polar bear presence along the road to town (one had been hunted on the island the week before our arrival and another was sighted the day of our departure). This meant guests should carry a flare gun if they were walking the 2km to town…we didn’t have such a defense with us. The shuttle ride to town was available but quite expensive considering the distance, so if cost is a concern, this means guests need to stay at the hotel for their own safety…
- Arik (10/5): Excellent experience, would definitely go back! - Being the only option in Kulusuk, the hotel is not using using its monopoly and offers an amazing travel experience.
Jacob the owner is one of the best service persons I met, helps with everything and gives you the feeling that you are taken cared of. All was good!
- Jennifer (10/5): Highly recommend! - Location, only 10 minutes walk from airport. Or you can arrange shuttle pick up with hotel.
About 15 minutes walk to Kulusuk village center.
Friendly staff
Great service
Comfortable room
And, free WiFi ! Nothing
- Arik (9/5): The best place to stay in Kulusuk - The hotel manager was amazing. Helped with everything and was very kind and professional
- Najaaraq (5/5): long story short; the staff members were a bit weird, the service wasn’t that great and got awkward numerous times. Forc - i liked how comfortable the beds were how distant the hotel was from the town & how the walls and the doors were so thin that you could, literally, hear someone when they whispered in the hall.
- Judith (8/5): Good for stopover - Great breakfast. Amazing location Sauna could have been warmer. More info from reception
- Marc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annette (9/5): Superb -
- Ricardo (9/5): Superb -
- Paula (8/5): Very good -
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional - Very good location near the airport, delicious food, friendly staff. -
- Sibel (10/5): Exceptional - Near the airport, helpful start, good food -
- Ingrid (10/5): Wonderful - Helpful flexible clean and loads of character - loved it Nothing
- Heikki (10/5): July 2024 one night stay - Clean, comfortable, great views, Internet, very good food.
- Mark (10/5): Useful for airport - 1st night booked last minute as ice causing problems with travel from Tasiliq so arrived for flight home day early. Reasonably priced.room, excellent buffet dinner and breakfast with unlimited coffee available all.day..
Flight was.then cancelled and, I assume because I was a guest previous night, was given a room again paid for by Iceland Air!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - It is a wonderful place! Highly recommend this part of East Greenland. The landscape is breaktaking!
- Alfred (8/5): Very good - Short dinner times. Very helpful
- Amy (8/5): Very good - Hotel provide van to n fro airport. Friendly and helpful staff!
Good food at breakfast too! All good considering the small size of Kulusuk town.
- Liselotte (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (10/5): Great stay, definitely would recommend - Very friendly staff and je owner, Jacob, even picks people up from the airport. Laid back atmosphere in the hotel.
There is no other hotel choice in Kulusuk, but they work hard to make guests comfortable. Beds could be a bit bigger (or double).
- Magnus (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Zoe (10/5): Superb staff. Also probably the best view we've ever had from a hotel window. - Jacob (the hotel manager) and his staff were superb, first at hosting us on a planned stay, and then in hosting us for a seven day unplanned stay when flights our of Kulusuk were severely disrupted. Their kindness and generosity was far beyond expectations, including logistical support moving our luggage frequently to/from the airport, advising us on things to do, and finding space for us at no notice. Considering that this hotel is the only place to stay on the island, and the island has a tiny population, this hotel delivers well above expectations in size, services and professionalism. Thanks Jacob, and to all your staff.
Some useful facts (from July 2023): Breakfast buffet is 7-9am. Lunch 12-1. Dinner 6-7 (buffet if hotel busy, otherwise plated dinner and best to be there at 6). There is a sauna which is free for guests to use, with a superb view, which takes 45 minutes to warm up. The hotel bar is the only bar in town!
- Joana (2/5): Very poor - Unfortunately I made a mistake with the booking dates. In last months,
I tried several times to contact the hotel via booking, always with no response.
- Joel (10/5): I’m definitely staying at Kulusuk Hotel again next year. - Chef Maki’s foods and the amazing view! People were friendly! The room I stayed at was very very clean! Unlimited coffee was the best! I don’t have lol
- Zuchada (10/5): Fantastic! - Helpful & friendly staffs. Room was cosy and warm, beds were comfy too. Great views from the restaurant, food service here was exceptional, we had fantastic options for all meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
- Ralph (9/5): Superb -
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (10/5): Excellent - Loved the atmosphere in the hotel.
There was a little entertainment in the evening by two locals singers and dancers, which I appreciated.
Manager and staff were all excellent. Nothing
- Sylwester (10/5): Exceptional -

- Nicole (7/5): Good -
