- Muhammad Huzaifa (7/5): Good value for money. - The experience was mixed. While the place is budget-friendly and has a functional kitchen, the noisy tin roof and very small bathroom were drawbacks. It’s okay for a short stay if you don’t mind being outside the city center. The place is more like a makeshift backyard studio apartment.
- madalina (1/5): im not happy with tis house - it was no clean, they stop the hot water every day , electryc stop in night time, is horible house i dont recomand the blanket smell very bad is horible. and when i call them in night time for electryc to sey is stop they get upset
- Angela Marcela (10/5): A hidden paradise - The staff there was always attentive to my needs and willing to help me (giving directions, places recommendations, etc.).
The place is beautiful, comfortable and cozy.

- Rafael (9/5): Muy bien - El patio. Que estuviera lejos de Tirana y que tuviera el autobús en la puerta
- Nazmi (8/5): Cozy stay with a few surprises - The house was cute and cozy, with a very friendly and helpful host who communicated well throughout our stay. The air conditioning was definitely a big plus, especially during the hot days. Once you find the place, it’s a nice little home hidden behind another building, and by car, it's just about 15 minutes to the city center. At first, finding the entrance was a bit confusing since you need to walk through a long corridor and the house is located behind another one. Due to the garden, we did notice quite a few lizards and bugs getting inside. Also, the house appeared slightly smaller than expected based on the photos.
- Recep (10/5): Perfect for our weekend in Tirana - Perfect for two, great location its only a couple minute walk from a bus stop that goes to city centre, the owner was very hospitable and attentive, couple shops are very nearby too
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Secluded, small yet cozy. Bus stop on the corner of the street for a day out to Tirana, café, store, etc.
- Mahbubur (7/5): Good - Finding property Address is difficult.
- Ange (9/5): Greste experience! I really recommend it. - Nice place, all the amenities were available. Its location is close to the bus station, making it easy to go to downtown. Communication with the host was very good. He helped me a lot.
- Tarık (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the facility was great. We stayed with 3 friends and the inside of the house was very clean. When we come back, we will stay in this house again. We thank the host very much, he was a very respectful and young person. I recommend it to everyone.
- Mocanu (10/5): Everything was perfect!🤩 -
- Jamali (8/5): Very good -
- Maksym (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great experience with my booking. The property owner was extremely helpful and always available for any questions. Communication was smooth and very quick, making the whole process easy. Highly recommend! -
- Dacaj (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was so good, next time i’ll stay longer.
- Judit (9/5): Superb - Mini studio flat in the back of a garden, private and quiet. Equipped with essential kitchen stuff (for me making coffee but if you wish to cook something simple there is opportunity for that too.)
The location is not central but you can find a bakery, coffee bar and supermarket in 2-5 mins walking distance and the bus stop going into the city centre is only 2 mins too. For me it was perfect.
The host was really friendly and helpful :)
- Canta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mert (10/5): Exceptional - Householder is so helpful and polite . He is a real man 😀. Location is so close to bus station to go to city center ,it's worth to see and transportation is soooo cheap. We will come again with my friend group, studio has garden view too.
- Petřek (8/5): The value for the money is very good - - Bus stop 1 minute walk (40 LEK / 0.4 EUR per person to city center)
- Shop 2 minute walk (you can pay by card)
- We were able to prepare some simple meals in the kitchen
- The host helped with everything we needed
- G. (9/5): Superb - - friendly and helpful host
-great price if distance is not a big issue
- Zio (10/5): Recommended - Very comfortable and intimate, at the end of a garden, and independent. Nice self built studio with everything you need. The family is very welcoming and they own also a little bar where you can have coffee or rakia. Absolutely recommended There is a lot of traffic to go to the center, but it's a problem of the whole city. There was some detail to adjust in the property, but it's new and Ergest fixed it in short term
- Anastasiya (10/5): Exceptional - the house was located in a suburban area of Tirana but the bus stop was directly in the apartment, with 0.40 cents he sent you directly to the center. The owner listened to all the requests we had and gave us solutions very quickly. We had a table outside where we could eat and enjoy the peace and birdsong.I will come again next year.I love Tirana!
- Paul (2/5): Bitter Disappointment - I was trapped because I could not book anything else last minute, so I loved leaving! The landlord made assurances, even promised to change the bed, but this was never done during my 7-day stay. Despite many apologies, the landlord fails to realize how badly he is treating his guests, yet gladly takes their money.
The location, which I initially thought explained the low price, is an uncomfortable sweaty overcrowded 30-50 minute bus ride from the centre (you can only stand) there’s no decent shops nearby. The unit is situated in a rundown dirty area with loud trucks passing by at night. You want to get away in the day and absolutely need a bus to function.
In summary, this was a terrible experience in a poorly managed unit that doesn’t meet basic health or safety standards. I recommend paying a bit more for a proper apartment closer to town, where you can enjoy clean, comfortable accommodation. After staying in Tirana for three months, this is by far the worst place I’ve stayed. I have easily found a much better property closer to the center for just EUR 20 a night, making this experience feel like a bad joke.
So what I did like most of all, is the end of my term here. NOT a studio apartment, a poorly constructed unit built by the landlord in his parents' backyard using a mix of old and new materials. The toilet has mold, making it unusable, forcing me to use clean coffee shop facilities instead. On arrival, I found a filthy floor, hidden under rugs, a window that wouldn't close, which I had to fix. The poorly fitted double-glazing has gaps that allow pests from the garden to enter because gaps are below. The bathroom door has paint marks, and the mosquito net on the window is broken, allowing mosquitoes in, leading to sleepless nights. The lights are filled with dead mosquitoes, highlighting the infestation problem. The unit is built among fruit trees, which attract mosquitoes. The landlord absolutely knows this because he has fitted 2x deterrents and spray.
Drain flies are breeding in dirty, sewage water, another problem as they fly round the room landing on your clothes and surfaces, and the inconsistent water supply from the main house only adds to the discomfort. I was misled by pictures showing a clean, new space and assumed the low price was due to the location being over 4 km from the city center. However, after staying, I realized the unit is not as advertised. The washing machine arrived three days into my stay, and the family asked me, the paying guest, to help move it in, I refused.
The landlord’s mother was rude when I mentioned the dirty floor, which is just painted concrete with dirt marks. The bed appears new, but underneath the covers is a dirty, stained, and smelly mattress, masked with perfume cards. The cooking hob is plugged into an overloaded extension lead, making it unsafe to use. The family does not treat guests properly, offering only excuses for the numerous issues in this substandard, unsafe unit.
While the place is painted ok and has air conditioning, a TV, and a new but awkwardly placed washing machine, it’s clear the unit was not ready for guests.
