- Deanna (10/5): A truly beautiful place to stay! - This is a stunning place to stay, having just been newly refurbished to such a high standard! The interior design is timeless and well coordinated throughout! It was spotlessly clean and very spacious, so we felt right at home! There is a large open plan living area with a well-appointed kitchen (plus dishwasher) and gorgeous sitting area, with a smart TV and log burner should you need! The bedroom has been decorated so beautifully, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, just like sleeping on a cloud! We also loved that there was a bathtub in the bedroom, what a luxury! Everything you may need during your stay has been thoughtfully provided! Fast WiFi and heating controls are available too! We made our booking through Stays York, who provided great support and necessary information prior to checking in. The onsite owners, David and Jo, are wonderful - They gave us a warm welcome and ensured we had a great stay, they even left me a lovely birthday surprise after learning I was celebrating my birthday, which really made my day! David and Jo are very respectful of your privacy as guests. The Hayloft is a separate building located on their property, with gated access, which provided an extra level of security. Parking is available opposite the Hayloft, which was so convenient! We would certainly stay at the Hayloft again and highly recommend staying here, it was a brilliant base for our days out in York! We wished we had stayed longer! Nothing, we loved everything!
