• Kevin (1/5): Stay plagued by bugs, noise, and unmet expectations. Forced to escalate with PayPal. - The property manager (Ton) was polite and responsive. The apartment was generally clean. The pool area was well maintained. The second bedroom became unusable for the last two days due to a severe ant infestation. I was told to use bug spray, but it left strong fumes in the unit. Ton admitted the ants “usually go away if you run the A/C,” so it’s a known and recurring issue. I also own property nearby and know this type of problem is entirely preventable with proper sealing and maintenance. As a property owner myself, I’d be embarrassed and infuriated by how this was handled. I wouldn't make it the renter's problem to deal with, and I would make sure the renter got the value they paid for one way or another. No alternate unit was offered, even though we were told no other units were being rented at the time. The unit had not been properly cleaned before our arrival—dead and live bugs on the walls, spider webs inside glasses, and gecko droppings in several spots. Noise was a big issue: loud upstairs neighbors moving furniture late at night, and the apartment is located directly on EEG Boulevard—expect steady road and foot traffic. The pool is not private, as implied in the listing—other units access it via a shared gate. Pool is also not as pictured, I'd guess 15ft wide and 30ft long. My hands outreached, I could touch the other side if I moved over two steps. Two strokes and I can cover the length of the pool. Furniture was uncomfortable: all-metal stools and chairs with no cushions (we had to use bedroom pillows to sit). No drip/no 4 filter coffee maker (Nespresso machine), even though we found coffee filters in the drawer. Not a big deal, we ended up using one from our own property. The bathrooms are open-concept, something not clearly stated in the listing. No compensation was offered for the loss of use of the second bedroom, and my refund request was ignored with the excuse: “We are in the tropics, it happens.” I paid peak-season rates during the off-season, assuming the property matched the price point. It didn’t.

• Randy (10/5): Would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone - Everything!!! It was such a relaxing and comfortable place. Anything you could think of was there. The apartment itself was large and had everything. Your own private pool was amazing and inviting. And Ton the host went above and beyond from picking us up and bringing us back to the airport. Can’t say enough about him Not a thing. Maybe a toaster would have been the only thing needed
