Guest Reviews
- Eleanor (9/5): Great location, great flat. - Great location. Really helpful person when we couldn't find the place. Thank you! Would be good to have a pair of scissors, some coat hangers, + baking tray for oven. Pulley to side blind in Lounge doesn't work. Floor to Bathroom/outside hall to it is springy, needs fixing before repair costs are increased.
- Monima (1/5): Unpleasant - Quiet location Everything else. Very filthy entrance into the building to reach the flat (we have a video). Low quality and cheap remodelling just to make money. No mirror, power outlet or hanging hooks or towel rail in the bathroom (you can’t even shave). Connecting to WiFi is a struggle; poor instructions. OK’ish kitchen.
Very unhelpful staff; they always pick up the phone and say they will get back but never do…the only story you here is “we are managing over a hundred properties” as if that is an excuse… on the whole an extremely underwhelming experience…
- Pauline (8/5): Very good - The flat was great clean and comfortable except the living room. The floors were dirty and dusty and one couch was broken and the other one was stained. I reported this on arrival and someone was supposed to come and fix the couch but they didn't and the other was not cleaned. As above
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (8/5): Perfect for what we needed - The flat was clean and tidy with everything supplied that was needed. Main entrance into the building was dirty, but its a block of flats and the actual flat was immaculate. Small problem with wifi which staff tried to sort but i wasnt in and to be fair i wasnt there long enough for it to be a problem.
- Mark (6/5): Comfortable for work but not an ideal holiday get away - Comfortable Not well finished I.E. broken window handles, no bathroom mirror etc…
- Adam (6/5): Avrage - Location Carpet, yellow sofa, sticky table , old dirty windows ,hairs everywhere
- Claire (3/5): Poor - Was central to where we needed to be. The location of property was hard to find as no street number. However I understand why there is no street photo as not very nice. Had to walk past bins to get inside.
- Alan (2/5): Very poor -
- Tricia (6/5): Pleasant - The flat was nicely decorated and looked good. Lots of trees surrounding the flat with birds singing and we saw a grey squirrel which was exciting. Lovely walk for our dogs just along the road, we enjoyed that. The window latches were broken so we had to have them open all the time. We had no hot water for the first week as the owner didn't put any money in the meter before we arrived, we had plenty of hot water the second week. One of the four flats in our block was boarded up at the door which was a bit scary but it was quiet for the fortnight we were there. They said they supplied linen and towels but they only gave us one bath and one hand towel each so we had to buy some more so that we could wash them to use again. There was one tea towel so had to buy more.
- Darrol (8/5): Basic but comfortable and very reasonable value - The fact that we could take the three dogs made the trip possible. The accommodation though basic was comfortable and close to the town centre. The town centre was quite surprising, I didn't realise Alloa would have so much choice, The oldest pub was a great experience as was the Royal Oak, the people being very welcoming. A visit to both the Dunmar Hotel and the Polkski Sklep delicatessen opposite the oldest pub is very good, and we will certainly be returning. Stirling was only a short distance away and surprisingly. The trip back (Over 310 miles) was nicely broken at Dunbar TV reception was poor but this may have been due to atmospheric interference and it was' t possible to fasten the windows although thankfully this wasn't necessary due to the heat
- Marie2.3 (3/5): Poor - Quiet area
Had some nice details throughout the flat No hot water - tried multiple times to get help, but no answer how to fix it
There was still food in the sink and we had to boil kettle to wash up.
Rather dirty throughout whole flat. Had to wipe surfaces first to feel comfortable.
Door to the bed room didn't close. Window handles were flimsy, some of the windows wouldnt shut properly or handles fell off.
Crockery and glasses were dirty and stained.
- Wendy (4/5): Disappointing - Clean bedding and towels Bins not emptied. Dirty cupboard with old food. Dusty heaters. View out of back window full of rubbish. Dirty stairs up to the flat.
