Guest Reviews
- Kelley (9/5): A wonderful stay in a beautiful townhouse. Great base for exploring the area - Modern, clean townhouse that was well-equipped in a great location 3 flights of stairs
Beds and pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked
- David (8/5): Great location, lovely apartment and brilliant town. - Amazing location and lovely apartment Central heating wasn’t controllable
- Bidu Prakash (9/5): - Very nice house and amazing location
- Alfred (10/5): Great house in perfect central location - The location is perfect, slap bang in the centre of Fort William. The instructions for arrival are clear, the property is very easy to find with good parking nearby. The kitchen was exceptionally clean and quite well stocked. The rooms are big with sizeable, comfy beds (though I'd recommend ear plugs if staying at the weekend). Would definitely come back. It might have been useful to have more information about the bins in the guest pack, as well as instructions for the TV. Possibly a few additional bits of local information, walks and activities nearby etc would be appreciated - though I imagine many people visiting FW already have a clear idea of their itinerary.
- Cheryl (9/5): We would go stay there again. - The location was perfect for food shopping and walking. We didn’t have car and didn’t miss it. Having a washer and dryer was great. On,y thing we didn’t like was the amount of stairs. Other then that it was perfect.
- Ankit (10/5): -
- Manju (8/5): Would stay again - Location was excellent. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk bonus from a long train journey. Washing and drying machine with all kitchen appliances was great... all in all lovely and spacious.
loved it! 😍

- Erik (9/5): Aanrader - De compleetheid van inrichting en gezelligheid Met 6 personen is er 1 kamer met een wat erg klein twee persoons bed
- Dorthe (9/5): -
- Angela (8/5): Alles i.o.
- Diane (5/5): Only ok due to poor beds and noise. Wouldn’t return. - It was a nice looking apartment and we were convenient to the town. We only used 2 of the rooms. In both rooms the beds were very much in need of replacement. The apartment is also directly on the main street which got pretty noisy overnight. There was a second window you could close to block the noise which worked well, but then you couldn’t open the windows to cool off the room. When we were there it was too warm for comfort. This all made sleeping pretty uncomfortable. I pretty much stay at a place primarily to sleep so I have to say that this is my biggest issue with the Townhouse. Also, there is no mention of the staircase you must climb to access the apartment. It’s substantial and if you’re elderly, or unable to carry your luggage up 4 flights (the bedroom level) of at least 12 foot high levels then you shouldn’t stay here.
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (7/5): Convenient location , comfortable beds, nice kitchen , lots of stairs, only one car for parking - Great location comfortable beds Way Too many stairs for my mom it was like climbing a tower not good for anyone with mobility issues. Parking was a total pain with two cars we had 5 people with luggage so we needed two cars the house provides one parking pass so make sure you only have one car when you stay here
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kayleigh (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing property, location and amenities. One suggestion from my mum was some shower caddies to put shower gel etc in for those less able to bend down. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend.
- Robert (9/5): Clean, central, spacious. - The location was great and the parking permit was so handy given the proximity of the car park.
- Eileen (10/5): Excellent - Everything Nothing
- Roy (9/5): Superb - Great location Had to climb 3 flights of stairs with my heavy suitcase
- Hemachandran (8/5): Very good -
- Christie (7/5): The location was perfect for our group. - Location, large well stocked kitchen. Difficult to find. The published directions were wrong. The hotel across the street had moved and since it was used as a landmark we had to call and pay international minutes on our phone.
The stairs! Also no bathroom on the living area floor. Trash cans by the entrance were very foul.
- Tn (8/5): In the city center - The location of the house was right in the city center. The house is what it in the picture.
Checking and checkout is seamless.
Lots of options provided for tea and coffee
House was clean the heating across the 2/3 rooms and common area is not adequate despite setting maximum temperature (29 c)
- Darla (9/5): Short trip to Fort William - Good location, near the shops and restaurants. Easy walk from the train/bus station. Comfortable beds and couch, spacious rooms, big kitchen, everything you need is available in the property. The street gets loud at night due to pubs open til late.
Stairs are quite high, difficult with taking luggage up to the rooms.
- Sam (9/5): A wonderful - if wet - week. Well placed for walks and trips. - Wonderful view of Cow Hill on one side and the Loch on the other, comfortable living space and right in the centre of town, easily accessible to many of the local attractions. Showers were nice and good spacious kitchen. Could have done with more drawers in the smaller room.
- Jaren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dan (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent right in the heart of town. It would be helpful if the host disclosed in advance that there was only one reserved parking space which comes with this rental. Given the stated capacity one might assume two spaces. There is no coffee pot, only instant coffee.
- Simon (10/5): Very comfortable in great location. A little expensive but worth every penny. - Large, spacious, modern and clean in a great location Allocated parking regularly taken by other cars
- Corina (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment and location in the walking area.
Close to all restaurants and to the bus and train station.
Nicely decorated, comforrable beds, nice views from the windows.
- Szentpeteri-gershoj (10/5): Perfect location, extremely comfortable - Fantastic location and extremely well equipped apartment.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - Really well equipped house with plenty of room. Excellent position for the railway station and the high street. This wasn't a problem for us but there are alot of stairs. There was nothing else we didn't like.
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Location, very clean, and tea, coffee and biscuits provided. All the steps up to the apartment. Parking a bit of a bind as we had two cars.
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Great location for everything we wanted to do.
Great facilities and lovely and clean.
- Barbara (8/5): Loved the location - Lots of space, very clean Too many stairs
- Sean (9/5): Perfect base for a few days - Everything - clean and modern in a great location Nothing
- Rachael (10/5): Fabulous time in the most lovely part of the Scottish countryside. - Lovely high ceilings & large rooms rooms, comfortably furnished. Biscuits, Tea, coffee, milk & condiments on arrival. Kitchen had dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. Parking provided. In the centre of the town with lovely views over the loch from kitchen & small bedroom. Didn’t realise how many stairs from front door up to the accommodation when booked. Property is above a shop and entrance is from the rear. We were ok with it but needs pointing out as would be no good for people with disability. Or someone who can’t cope with lots of stairs.
En-suite shower not good, kept going hot & cold. So we all used family bathroom shower which was fabulous.
- Cameron (9/5): Comfortable and great location -
- Stuart (9/5): A lovely, convenient place to stay close to the main shopping street in Fort William. - Great location above the high street. Warm, comfortable. Everything you’ll need is there. Certainly big enough for 6. Rear entrance a little off putting but once in the property great. Not suited for anyone who has trouble with stairs. A dripping loo cistern but quickly repaired once reported. Blackout blinds would have been a nice addition in the high street side bedrooms. En-suite shower not great but certainly useable.
- Andy (8/5): Excellent location and great facilities - wonderful property with great facilities right in town. Folks should know that on entry there are a lot of steep stairs and the property is above a very bust bar. Neither bothered us but if you are travelling with elderly family or young children do bear that in mind.
- Abagael (9/5): Superb -
- Shannon (10/5): Be back soon 🤩 - Everything. I wish I could move in here forever ❤️ Tescos and Morrisons are within walking distance and we loved the restaurant next to us.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Luke (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (9/5): Superb - Spacious, comfortable, clean , well equipped The stairs,
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grit (10/5): The find in Fort Wiliam - The Kitchen und its equipment was great, also the rooms and the cleaniness. A recommendation in Fort Wiliam. -
- Vinay (9/5): Superb -
- Johannah (7/5): Expensive but good - Comfortable, clean, good location Above a pub so very noisy on Saturday night
A lot of stairs to reach the living/sleeping areas
- Jon (7/5): Spotless and modern but local bars are noisy - Spotlessly clean and comfortable
Good location The bedrooms were very warm at night. Portable fans would have been good to circulate the air
The noise from the local bars went on to 3am
- Glenda (9/5): We would recommend this apartment except if you can't cope with the stairs. Good exercise eaters! - The location was excellent and it was well presented. The rooms were good and clean and it had a washing machine which we really valued. The location was excellent. Close to all the shops yet we didn't have any noise issues. The living areas and kitchen were a really good size. Just beware that it has lots of steps. Lots and lots of steps.
- Iona (10/5): Brilliant stay - Very good location, good sized rooms, kitchen and living room were fab.
- Vanessa (9/5): Definitely stay here again - Beautiful property. Lovely views from one room over the lake. Lots of coat hangers which is great.
2 bathrooms but main bathroom could be converted to have a standing shower like the ensuite.
Kitchen has everything you could need to cook and is massive. Lounge s good size and comfortable. Bedrooms good sizes. Location great right next to town and few mins to train station. Parking permit supplied for parking. Requested a cot but it was not supplied luckily we had brought our one.
Heating seemed to go on at random times like middle of night.
Stairs could be a problem for some.
- Elena (9/5): Superb -
- Chinyelugo (7/5): Spacious, warm and comfortable townhouse - The location in proximity to the town centre was good. The Townhouse was spacious, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and a joy to cook in.
The views from the staircase was beautiful. It was quiet noisy on Saturday night, as there are pubs next door.
The shower head for the shower could be better.
The exterior of The Townhouse wasn't great to look at. The extra single bed in the bedroom with the en suite shower room was missing.
- Meredith (9/5): Superb - Location. Roomy. Kitchen and living room good space and well equipped. Reasonable sized bedrooms. Easy check in and check out. Potential customers need to know there are 59 steps from the front door to the bedroom level. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Car park location was a little difficult to find.
- Liz (9/5): Superb - Not a criticism - we loved the property! - but one suggestion we'd like to make is to perhaps provide slightly bigger pots to cook with. we found them very small for a family of 6.
- Tom (7/5): Good - Great location, very well set up, clean and welcoming. The fuse box was behind a locked door so when the fuse tripped we had to call the management company, who responded quickly and very helpfully, rather than just rest it ourselves.
