• Buhle S (4/5): Bad management, double apartment bookings, late communication in changes, unhelpful host. - Honestly? The location is great and central, the room was cute and cosy. The room was clean as I had requested. It is a little noisy, but it's to be expected in such an area. Disappointing. NO HOT WATER THROUGHOUT OUR STAY - RISK BOOKING. I had read every review, good and bad, before booking. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because people can be difficult. What people complain about: Mismatched rooms, trouble accessing the apartment, and security not being helpful are all true. The security told me that I'm lucky to even find my apartment cos he's turned so many people away because their bookings were occupied by someone else. I booked a luxury garden & pool-facing room, specifically selected. At our arrival, we had luggage, I showed the security my booking, which had my room number. When I got to the luxury garden-facing apartment, it was occupied! We were directed to a new room, which was 3 floors up in the building! I had to carry all the luggage three times going up. Now I'm all sweaty and in need of a shower - THE HIGHLIGHT IS THAT THERE WAS NO HOT WATER THE ENTIRE STAY - COLD SHOWERS RIGHT THROUGH!!!!! I contacted Andile, the host, and he said it's a building issue - no assistance whatsoever and completely unbothered. I asked the neighbours if they had hot water, and they had! Andile blatantly told me to cancel the booking if I was so unhappy, knowing that I wouldn't be refunded. Usile! Andile and Kgotso, if you're reading this, you two can do so much better!

• Sizwe (5/5): Struggled to sleep worried about my car - The cleaner of the room was kind n room had a great smell The host didn’t care if the parking that was included in the booking was obtained on arrival .she was shocked I needed parking while my booking included it . Had to struggle to look parking at an extra cost and slept worried about the safety of my car .i wish the booking can be specific and be direct that no parking is included so that we can avoid it . Rather than pay for everything and on arrival you have to struggle about additional costs which were not even initially included/ indicated in the bookings.

• Noleen (1/5): Absolutely dissapointed - Absolutely horrible experience got to the venue before check in time they said everything was done and ready and we can check in decided to go get some food and drinks by the time we came back during check in time we were taken to the room only to found out it was occupied The staff were not helpful at all it seemed that eveything is up to you no only cared that our room had a problem it was a stuff you situation had to find something else last minute where as almost every spot was practically fully booked

The room has very little ventilation, and it's quite scary to sleep with windows open as a solo traveller. Maybe a fan or aircon would help.

Also our iron was not working. I called the host to ask for an iron.waited FOREVER. said her cleaner was going to bring it she was taking a bath. That iron never came. I was very disappointed

Also the hosts brother attended to us right away and was able to cater to our problems and our needs, we will be coming back soon as our go to place The wifi was abit of a problem but that was attended to very fast and there was an alternative either then that it was a fun place to stay at

Smart tv, perfect location, comfortable bed, working fridge and stove, tea coffee sugar milk. The hosts really put effort into this place. There's literally everything I needed for my stay, I mean everything. Hosts are responsive and helpful. Im so happy. I will definitely come back to this place every single time. Worth all my money. There was nothing not to like honestly. Loved everything.

The apartment has all the comforts of home from the care pack in the bathroom to the welcome treats you find in the apartment on arrival. Being in Maboneng you'd expect noise but it's so quiet. The bed is super comfortable, every detail is well thought and everything makes one feel like they in a 5 star Hotel. Seriously, I travel a lot for work and this is one of the BEST self catering units I've stayed in !! I loved every detail
