Guest Reviews
- Rafael (9/5): - Lovely, well maintained property in a wonderful location. The host was very friendly
- Ally (9/5): Excellent and we were sad to leave!! - The property is beautiful. We felt right at home and Tara was very welcoming. Nestled back from the main road meant no noise. The property was clean and had excellent facilities as well as great books on Australian Bird life and Australian Natives. It is close to the shops. Really you couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Tara for making our stay really lovely!! We will be back :)) Nothing, there were no issues.
- Stephen (1/5): Should not be on the website unfit for purpose. - Probably the worst stay in any booking.com we have ever stayed at and we are Genuis Level 3 plus users. We have been left no key to the property, told in text it would be left open and key in property. Then when we couldn't find the keys we message the host again and throughout our stay we had no keys, therefore had to take out valuables out with us on day trips. The electric gate to the property was broken so we could not close the driveway to the property. The washing machine was out of action with a note apologising for the inconvenience. There was a holes running from the broken washing machine stretching out through an open window and left on the path up to the property front door as a trip hazard. The kitchen was dirty and had debris in the drawers and cutlery was not clean and fit for use. We were greeted by dead bugs left on the Mosquito screen, which was quite unpleasant to see. The main bedroom had a wire hanger to work the blind to open, mattresses cover was left on the shelf and clutter in the room. I think this property should be removed from the website and will be looking for a full refund back from the owner.
- Susan (10/5): Great location and very pleasant accommodation - Great location and value Nil
- Hardik (10/5): Really excellent leisure stay in nature - The property had everything you need to live closer to the environment. Big space, comfy room, kangaroo’s around and no internet.
- Julia (9/5): We will be back - Thank you Tara and family for the perfect stay. It's walking distance to the best beaches and shops, and there's a wonderful aviary with parrots who greet you on your arrival. It's private, clean white and bright, more like a house, than a beach cabin. Two very large bedrooms with queen beds at opposite ends of the house. Fresh air circulates the whole place so smells clean and healthy. Very comfortable. I only wish we stayed longer. We will be back. Nothing! It was perfect for our needs.
- Alex (6/5): Pleasant - - no WiFi. Poor internet in the area, so this was quite annoying because we had to drive 6mins to the beach for signal.
- house wasn’t that clean when we arrived
- good location, we saw kangaroos each morning as we woke up
- Martina (9/5): Superb -

Easy walk to the beach and local coffee van.
Quiet location. No fans in rooms a bit hot upstairs and some spiders.

- Peter (10/5): I’ll be back if ull have me - Prefect for me plus the dog. Great yard and super close to beach. Nothing about the place was a dislike. Although the shops are mainly all shut on a Wednesday night after 7
- Therese (10/5): Great location & accommodation. Our host was so lovely. We will definitely stay again. -
- D (7/5): Good value for money property, quiet with plenty of native birds and kangaroos. - Very quiet rural location. Nothing the property met my expectations.
- Michelle (9/5): It was really lovely and everything we needed was provided. We will most definitely stay another time :) - It was lovely, and lots of thoughtful extras to make it stand out. And the wallabies made it perfect! Just an idea - pop a vacuum cleaner in the unit so it’s easier to clean up after ourselves :)
- Lany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (9/5): Superb - Clean, fresh, modern apartment. Well appointed kitchen including nespresso coffee. Peaceful surrounds with kangaroos and parrots. Beautiful, quiet location. - Rosa (10/5): A wonderful, relaxing place to stay with a fantastic host - We had a fantastic week at Tara's place. The property looked exactly like the photos. It was very neat and tidy, on a large block of land at the end of a quiet private road. We were visited by wildlife which was really lovely. The beach and shops were all within easy walking distance. Tara went above and beyond expectations of a host and provided us with tourist advice as well as freshly caught fish. We look forward to holidaying there again. Very highly recommended.
- Amanda (8/5): Tara was very welcoming and brought me some freshly caught fish to try out. The place was on a large piece of land and s - It is in a lovely quiet location with lots of greenery and kangaroos that came to eat the grass in the mornings and evenings. Nothing
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katrina (7/5): Lovely host. Suited my needs to dive Bawley Point. - Lovely large space. Kangaroos and birds were a lovely surprise. Owner was friendly. Drum practice in the afternoon after I arrived.
Crowded cul de sac with numerous other dwellings.
Somewhat dated and superficially clean. Way too much deodoriser…….
- Gemma (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Comfy, well furnished and a great location. Exactly what we wanted for a quiet getaway in Bawley Point.
- Seeney (9/5): Peaceful and quiet -
- Kathleen (9/5): Superb -
- Alexander (9/5): Very enjoyable overnight stay! - Our host welcomed us warmly, the property was clean and well-appointed. All we were looking for in an overnight stay. Minor details like having to keep the shower head from tilting back against the wall and body wash running out, inability to close off loft bedroom.
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional accommodation - Exceptionally hospitable owner with a lovely clean and roomy 2 bedroom apartment. Kangaroos in the back yard! Excellent kitchen and a full laundry. We were offered freshly caught and prepared fish for our evening meal from a surplus the owner had caught that day - we will return! Nothing to dislike.
- Bob (8/5): Very good -
- Toru (10/5): Great property for enjoying the Australian nature. - Living room with kangaroo view, upstairs bedroom with starry sky view, large yard with kangaroo and parrot. The property was old but well cleaned. Best of all, the owner's hospitality was excellent. No Optus connection; no Wi-Fi (for better or worse, you can get away from the internet). Kitchen sink a bit small.
- Georgina (10/5): Don't miss this - wonderful stay with a lovely host - Absolutely fantastic stay. Wildlife around was an unexpected delight. But what comfortable beds, incredibly well set up kitchen supplied with anything you might need. A wonderful place to cook and eat! Beautiful indoor/outdoor flow. It was impeccably clean and tidy and the quality of the towels and sheets were outstanding.
Tara was wonderfully generous as a host and the freshly caught seafood she offered was delicious and unexpected Absolutely fantastic nothing I'd change.
- Terry (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Very relaxing and all the comforts of home were met plus much more - Host was very accommodating. Yard had plenty of animals to look at and maintained excellently
