• Denise (10/5): Had a fabulous short break at Lotus Lodge - The lodge was in a perfect location to everywhere we wanted to go.After our day out it was lovely to come back and sit out on the enclosed decking with our dogs and know they were safe. Nothing we didn’t like about the lodge for us it was perfect.

• Peter (10/5): A good place to stay. - The lodge was very well appointed and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. The arrangements we made with our host went smoothly both for arrival and departure. The site was very well kept and generally quiet. We had a six year old grandson with us and he enjoyed his stay too. There was nothing to not like really although we didn't try the on-site restaurant as it was very busy and we were looking to have a quieter time in the evenings. The entrance to the site is directly off the A1. The road is very busy most of the day and you need to have your wits about you when leaving the site. Getting back onto the site is much easier as there is a filter lane if you are turning right.
• S PETER (10/5): Spotless holiday lodge with full facilities. - The lodge was very clean with all the facilities we needed, including cooker, microwave, bedding/towels, and very comfortable beds. There was a shower room too. It was set in a quiet end of the site, and although the weather was very hot during our time there, it was a relaxing two-night stay for myself, my wife and our two grandchildren. The food at the neighbouring club house was excellent and good value. The communications from the owner were very good also. There was nothing we did not like.
• Rachel (10/5): Perfect peaceful stay - Top marks for Lotus Lodge! Thank you to the wonderful host who communicated brilliantly throughout our stay. The lodge was immaculate with luxury beds/bedding & towels, well equipped kitchen & comfortable outside decking area. It was truly home from home as a chilled little weekend away from it all. WiFi worked perfectly well the whole time we were there. The view from the window gave us a wonderful view of the farmer making hay bails & cows grazing in the distance. While the lodge is surrounded by other lodges it’s surprisingly peaceful and quiet. A short walk to the children’s park & site facilities. My 4 year old granddaughter absolutely loved the games room. This place is a little gem. We will definitely be back! Everything to do with the lodge was perfect. My only criticism would be the children’s play area is in need of some repair. The flooring around the ship exposed the underlay making it a bit of a hazard for kids & adults tripping up.
• Paul (10/5): Another highly recommended review - As with pretty much all previous reviews we have no complaints whatsoever. Lotus Lodge is clean and fully equipped with everything you need, and the towels are nice and thick...I didn't feel that any corners have been cut at all. I highly recommend the lodge for your stay and we will have no hesitation booking again for another short break in the future. Nothing.

• Ian (9/5): Totally relaxed - Lodge was immaculate clean, bedding and towels high quality. The bed was really comfortable, there were things for families to entertain kids, board games etc. We were really happy with lodge and the responses from thr owner in booking etc. Our only issue was, the weather on day of arrival was heavy rain, on trying to log into WIFI, it became obvious the rain had caused problems with cable getting water in, the owner arrived to try and sort the problem out, sadly, technically difficult, so, she arranged for us to jump onto the neighbours caravan WIFI, enabling us to watch digital tv and access some Internet service. It wasn't the best, however, the owner did her very best to help out, until the fault could be corrected, Thank You !!! We will definitely be returning!!!! The smell of Cleanliness on entering the lodge, towels were really good bed comfortable, quiet location

• Zoë (9/5): Lovely clean space in a great spot! - We had such a lovely stay. The home is close to so many an amazing places. It was clean, well appointed and peaceful. The shower was great, it was warm cosy and modern. A few little things would have been really handy. Reading lights in the twin room and thicker curtains were the only things that bothered us. Otherwise we had everything we needed.

• Holly (10/5): Fabulous stay, amazing lodge - Everything about this lodge exceeds expectation for the price. Immaculately clean, so well kept and where it is situated on site was lovely. Have to say the owner is also absolutely lovely and so accommodating, would by far say this is the best lodge we have ever stayed in with the best customer service! The lodge also has absolutely everything you could ever want. Lovely outdoor area, great shower facilities, WiFi, fully kitted out kitchen, even with an air fryer! The only thing to let the lodge down was the site and it’s such a shame. The site itself wasn’t well kept. There was also a lot of groups, parties etc. luckily the lodge was far enough away but if your out walking you will notice it. Also the smell on site was horrendous, for our whole weekend it smelt of raw sewerage. Friday and Saturday night they had someone trying to unblock the drains and then all the toilets were out of order . It was such a shame as it made for an unpleasant smell the whole weekend, at times unbearable.

• Rosie (9/5): Superb - Caravan was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay, lots of different wee extras like games, air fryer, nice clean towels and fluffy blankets, kitchen had everything including cleaning sprays, dish soap etc so you really don't need to take anything like that! Outdoor seating and decking was nice but we never had the chance to chill outside because of the weather. Will definitely be returning x
