• Susan (9/5): Very happy with the time we spent at Giglio Bianco. - Location was ideal...great restaurants and many of the museums within a short walking distance. Kitchen was great for the one night we ate in. Bathroom spacious. We did need to buy toilet paper. Loft bedroom bed very comfortable, sleeper sofa was a sleeper sofa.

The walls were very dirty and definitely needed a fresh coat of paint or intense cleaning. Additionally. The property lacked necessities like an iron and extra bed sheets and a washer.

• Julie (8/5): The apartment was clean, comfortable and the location was excellent. - The apartment was centrally located convenient for the train station, airport and centre of the city. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with what we needed. We were met at the apartment and the handover was helpful and seamless. And we were kept in touch continually prior to the arrival day which was really helpful and messages we sent were always answered promptly. Generally it was an excellent experience. The shower head was loose and so difficult to use. The street outside was a bit noisy but that’s due to the convenient and central location so to be expected.
• Kornelia (10/5): Lovely stay, feels like home rather than accommodation. Perfect location with lots of amenities - Giglio Bianco has the perfect location, close to everything you might want to see in Firenze. We walked to all the main sights from the property, it is in a busy but not crowded part of the city. Just round the corner from the main train station but already in the historical centre, you can still mix with the locals, which I particularly loved and again just minutes away from a large number of family run restaurants, there's a grocery shop where you will find everything you need and the food market is at the end of your street. The flat is exceptionally clean and really nicely done. We had a very comfortable stay, and the comms from the owner was excellent, we received a number of messages coming up to our stay and someone waited at the property when we arrived, explaining all the details. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

• Paul (10/5): - The property manager is very responsive and helpful, the beds are comfortable (even the pullout), and the apartment is clean and well equipped. The only slight annoyance is that the heat keeps resetting to 68F every hour or two. I stayed in November/December, and it was a little chilly for me. But I could keep bumping the thermostat up whenever I wanted, so it wasn't a big issue. Overall, it's a great apartment and location - just a few minutes' walk to the Duomo and some excellent restaurants. It feels like a safe place, and excellent value for the price.

• Dennys (9/5): Florence at Giglio - Amazing 5 stars plus location. Terrific cleanliness, very supportive and friendly hosts. The AC is not enough for the size of the apartment. We had to sleep on the sofabed downstairs to manage the heat. This is the only reason I didn't give a full 10 point rating. But I would rebook the place if I'm ever in Florence again. The AC issue doesn't trump how great the apartment is and its terrific location.
• Tara (9/5): Overall, it was comfortable and within easy walking distance to everything! - The location could not be better! The apartment was spacious and thankful it had AC that cooled the downstairs nicely. The loft is still a little warm. I had to pay extra for bedding on the sofa bed.

• Louise (9/5): Great location and hosts - this was a real treat. - Best location with wondefully responsive and helpful hosts. Apartment is very spacious, beautifully clean and very quiet even though it's on the street. Bonus that it's ground floor - no lugging heavy cases up narrow stairs. It's in an old building and has plenty of charm, but the apartment has been extensively and tastefully renovated, with all mod cons (no washing machine though, which caught us by surprise - there is a couple of self-service laundries around the apartment though). This apartment is special because of the location - everything was literally just minutes away by foot including the Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace and so on. You really can walk anywhere. Also surrounded by shops of all kinds - supermarket, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and so on. Also an easy walk from the train station. Thank you Matias and Simone, we loved staying here. The key situation - there were many times I went out for early morning walks but couldn't take the keys with me because my daughter was still sleeping (and the keys have to stay in the power box to power the apartment). This meant I then had to ring her (and wake her up) to get back into the apartment. Niether of us loved that scenario. I understand you're trying to save electricity by forcing people to keep the keys in the power box, but it's not really practical for travellers. This isn't a criticism - it didn't detract from our stay at all.
• India (9/5): A gorgeous flat with everything you need for your stay in Florence - Property was located only 5 minutes from the train station and the overall location was perfect for us - close to the central food market, vibrant bar and restaurant area, the centre/river etc. The flat is very spacious and beautiful - lovely bedroom, shower and kitchen, everything we needed for our stay was there. We loved our stay in this flat! The flat was next to the main front door which bangs loudly from people coming and going - any way of reducing this would be great as it was very loud! We're not the type of people to get very annoyed by this but expect some others might be. There was also a constant knocking on a 'door' which we were very confused by until we realised it was tour groups knocking on the ancient 'wine door' which was on the outside wall. Once we realised this we actually loved it and found it very fun, but worth flagging in case this would annoy future guests!
