- Patrick (7/5): Comfortable stay at a reasonable cost within easy reach of Belfast City Centre. - Comfortable accommodation with easy reach to Belfast City Centre by public transport. Good communication from the staff before and a 'check-in' call after I had left the property to ensure that my stay went well. I have no reason to say anything negative about the property.
- Rebekah (10/5): -
- Elaine (6/5): - Rooms with cobweb. Other Guest not picking up or cleaning after themselves, left food sitting all night in kitchen or leaving dirty dishes everywhere in kitchen. A bit far from city center. Needed to take bus to and from.
- Daniel-Alexandru (8/5): - Nicely coloured room, we liked the deep blue walls and the koi wallpaper. Comfortable beds. Not too far from city centre (30min walk) and very close to the Botanical Gardens and Ulster Museum (great 1-day trip!). We had an iron and an ironing board. Towels were shedding a lot of lint, so we were quite fluffy after taking a shower. Kettle was placed in a cupboard instead of on the table — interesting design choice, I hope the steam doesn’t affect the woodwork.

- svdv22 (7/5): Nice room, but tad small - Looks nicer than the average room, very small though - especially the bathroom. Did not use the common area
- Lynne (10/5): Loved it will be back - Clean handy for everything
- Khatira (9/5): We had such a lovely stay! Everything was provided and clean. Bathrooms were small but still great! - The unit was lovely and spacious! Kitchen was fully stocked and it was nice to use the laundry as well. Very accessible to city centre. Bathrooms could use a towel rack or hooks to hang them on and pillows a bit hard!
- Alexandra (10/5): -
- Elaine (10/5): Excellent value for the money. Staff responded quickly and efficiently. Location is 20 minute walk to downtown and bus - The front suite was bright and roomy. The use of a kitchen and laundry came in very handy. The bed was comfortable as were the chairs in the room. It’s located across the street from a pub that kept its bright outdoor lights on all night, unfortunately there were no blackout curtains in the suite.

- Gerard (3/5): For the price, go stay in a hotel. - The location was ok.
I got my invoice after asking 3 times. Various things. Completely personal view.
1 - It's impossible to rate the staff because I saw absolutely no one during the 3 nights I stayed there. Not a soul.
2 - Why don't you post the wifi code in the accommodation? It's on a website. I had to go out and find a cafe with wifi so I could connect to the Internet to check the wifi password for the room.
3 - Why so many passive aggressive messages about cleaning up, sorting my recycling, putting everything in the same place I found it - or else you would charge me the 300 pound deposit I paid. It's over the top.
4 - 100 pounds a night for a basic room with zero human contact a just a phone number in case of emergencies is unreasonable (by the way, as I arrived from abroad I had no phone coverage so I could not even call the number even if I needed to).
5 - You could put a stopper on the side of the sink because someone is going to open the shower door and smash the glass by accident.
- Ellie (6/5): - It was good location! There was some trash in the bathroom & the room was quite dusty
- Karina (9/5): Lovely hotel to base yourself in in Belfast - Love the modern interiors
Great location, walkable to all of Belfast
Keyless concept made it easy to leave and enter Walls were bit thin, could hear neighbours
Check-in seemed bit complicated
- Shauna (10/5): It was a very pleasant stay with great service before and after. The price and location followed by the well equipped ro - The property was located perfectly for us. It was only a 20 min walk into the centre/hub of Belfast, which makes it ideal if you wanted to stay centrally but not in the hustle of town.
- Martin (5/5): Long weekend in Belfast - The kitchen was great, all appliances and very clean.
Easy check in and access
Great pub opposite. The bed was awful. Squeaked every time you moved and the mattress sagged in the middle.
Cobwebs hanging from the lampshade wasn't too nice.
Guttering outside our room was badly damaged so constantly loud drips as the water poured out next to the window.
- Serkan (7/5): - The furnitures and bathroom were new and clean The bathroom was really small, and the building hall and stairs were very tight, so if you have large luggage, it’s tough to carry it upstairs

- Mark (10/5): Perfect accomodation. - Lovely accomodation. Very helpful host.
- Aikaterini (10/5): -
- Jolene (8/5): A home feeling in the city !!! - The kitchen was well set up and the spice rack was amazing . nothing

- Sean Hannah (10/5): Great apartments - Lovely comfortable rooms at an affordable price & well equipped shared kitchen with everything you need in the heart of Belfast will defo stay here again.
- Suhong (8/5): -
- Mary (10/5): Perfect for when you need a kitchen but not the whole Airbnb. - This place was a great combo of hotel room and Airbnb. The room was small but well decorated and very clean. Simple bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, and I cooked several meals. Good location, close to the City Hospital train station. I didn’t meet any staff, but the check in instructions were spot-on and everything went smoothly.,Great price, too.
- Aalaa (1/5): -
- Brian (8/5): - It was in a good part of town. Room very compact.
- AMESH (1/5): - Poor customer service
- Mia (10/5): Lovely place will be back next year if available - I loved that there was a bathroom inside the room and there was a TV so I was able to watch the Simpsons at night. The lighting was a little dark but overall it was lovely.
- Tessa (7/5): -
- Kathleen (8/5): Overall a fantastic stay! - Wish I had known my room was going to be on the first floor facing the street! A little scary for a solo female traveller.
- Fiona (8/5): - Good kitchen facilities, clean. Great location Room was a bit cramped
- Frasia (10/5): -
- Dilushi (9/5): - Easy check in. Helpful and friendly staff, arranged an early check in on request. Comfortable room with tea coffee and a kettle. Well equipped spacious kitchen. Very convenient location. Room is a slightly smaller than expected
- Filippo (10/5): -
- Anna (9/5): Beautiful place, I would like to stay here again - I really liked your dad. It was close to everywhere. Room was nice and cosy on the top floor. It’s near to Lisburn Road, so you have shops and restaurants all around It. I actually liked everything so it’s hard for me to reply for this question
- George (3/5): - Great location. Room doesn’t match the pictures.
- Trudi (9/5): Xmas at the wellesley - Was in an excellent location just up the lisburn road near bradbury place. Beside ryans bar which turned out to be a great wee bar! Good keycode system and clean and cosy No fridge in room but there is a good kitchen for all to use so not too big an issue just handier once u got cosy and wanted a cold drink!! Percy pigeon coo-ing on the windowsill at 6am wasnt great but hey ho cant do much about that and the staff where great about it wen i mentioned it and have been trying to sort it..
- Saishri (8/5): - the stairs were too steep
- Giorgia (9/5): -
- Joan (7/5): A comfortable stay in a central location - The apartments are very centrally located. They were cosy and clean There were a few things, although trivial, that would have indicated more attention to detail. This included a clock whose battery needed replaced. A diffuser in the bathroom which was dry. There was a very limited selection of tea and coffee with no decaffeinated options.
- Cynthia (9/5): Brilliant accommodation - Really lovely and clean
Value for money great location. Nothing
- Sevastiani (10/5): -
- Antonello (10/5): -
- Chiron (7/5): -
- Eileen (10/5): - Great location for the university. Really appreciate the friendly and helpful communication from Lauren & Lauren.
- Penny (9/5): I really enjoyed my time in Belfast and at The Wellesley. - It was nice to be able to use a washing machine and a kitchen (for those who were prepared for that). The room was small but very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom the same. A little away from the city centre but a very nice area. Great pub practically across the street. I also made use of the in house books available. Perfect for one person.
- Ana (8/5): -
- Stewart (9/5): - Nice room with everything we needed for a comfy stay, not too far away from city centre either
- Daniel (3/5): Too much marketing, but basically is just a house and you rent rooms. - Location Calling it a apartment, but was just a tiny room in the roof of one house.
- Jonathan (1/5): Disappointing - Location Having communicated with me for about 5 days before my check in during which everything was requested from me ( obviously because of my non-English name. Every form of document was requested for identification. One would then expect better preparation but unfortunately, I met an unclean room, used, rough and appalling bed. There was no one be to talk to as the phone would ring endlessly without response. I slept on the chair in a cold room as I couldn’t get the heating on. I had to request cancellation, booked a better place and jumped out of Wellesley in the morning, tired and frustrated
- Pat (9/5): - Location was good. A nice stroll into the city centre
- Fred (10/5): Great value for money, great location. - Great location, 15 min leisurely stroll from city centre but alternatively there is a bus stop around the corner on the Lisburn Road. Generous kichen area with large fridge/freezer, washing machine, 2 hobs and ovens if you want to do some home cooking, washing or ironing. Clean towels kept in kitchen if you need a towel change. The place is generally well looked after. The area is very good for local shops and food outlets. The pin operated lock on the front door got some getting used to as you need both hands free to operate it.
- Nataliia (10/5): -
- Zheyi (10/5): - Clean, cosy, high-end selection of supplements
- Megan (9/5): - Wifi was not great, did not stay in the room much so we didn’t need it but it would have been nice to have better connection and not use data.
- Giacomo Gherardo (10/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): A pleasant stay - Friendly and helpful staff. Responded quickly to an issue with heating the room and had it all fixed within the hour. Opposite a pretty noisy pub but earplugs are provided. The rooms in real life are not as lovely as the photos, but they're good enough.
- Eric (8/5): -
- Liv (10/5): Home away from home - I never usually find accommodation that feels like home but The Wellesley did! Whilst i was only there for 2 nights, i absolutely did not want to leave. I was comfortable, i felt extremely safe being a solo female travellers. Bathroom was well equipped. Bed was so so comfortable. I hope to return to Belfast again and stay here once more NOTHING! Everything was 10/10
- Marta (10/5): -
- Moira (10/5): - It was clean, cosy, lovely kitchen facilities & conveniently located. The bed was very comfortable & the en suite was clean and in excellent working order. I would and will happily return. There was no aspect that I disliked at all.
- brenda (8/5): -
- DeCicco (9/5): Cosy and Convienient. - The room was nice and cozy. And it was about a 20 minute walk from the city centre so it was nice and quiet at night.
- Susanne (7/5): -
- Divya (8/5): -
- Sean (7/5): -
- JudeJayakuru (9/5): Nice cosy rooms - Room was clean and tidy. It had touch of class and had facilities. Would have been if room was bit larger.
- Stephen (10/5): - Great location. Not too far from city centre. Lovely combo between a hostel and an apartment/hotel. Clean. Comfortable. Helpful staff. Felt safe.
- Igor Santos (5/5): Disappointing room size and communication style - The room had a private bathroom with good hot water. The internet worked well. The room was very small, even for one person it felt cramped, so I can’t imagine it for more. The management’s communication relied heavily on pressure through possible fines. Maybe this was meant as an educational strategy, but it felt unnecessary. Simply asking guests to follow the rules would have been enough without the constant threat of penalties.
- Inês (10/5): -
- Lesley (6/5): - Within walking distance to city centre
Great instructions prior to arrival The room was a bit tired looking and very dark
Shower was hot one minute and freezing the next .
- Richard (8/5): -
- Dominika (7/5): Overall, good - Good facilities in the kitchen. There's a fridge , a kettle , toaster, tea... everything you need. Location is pretty good as well if you don't mind walking. supermarket and a pub just nearby. The budget room is very tiny, so it's perfect for one person. Having two people in it, was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was tiny as well, bumped my elbows many times . It was very very hard to move around in that room with another person . The bed is also too small for two people as well, specially for friends traveller. The doors were heavy and they have that thing to open , so you need to use two hands at the same time- so forget holding a mug with a tea. The room is located in the ground floor and in the passage to the kitchen, so may be noisy. I could stay here again , but solo for sure.

- M (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at The Wellesley. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and great pillows. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Nothing
- Leah (10/5): -
- Preeti (9/5): Superb - My stay at The Wellesley was very good, comfortable, clean and convenient. Very helpful staff when I called. The room was excellent. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much!
- Micol (6/5): Not good value for money but well located - Location is quiet and conveniently located near the Botanic Gardens and Ulster Museum. Easy access to the city and lots of cafes/restaurants. They also allowed us to get early check in, which we appreciated. - You can only communicate to the staff via whatsapp and they are not very responsive, especially during the weekend.
- The room is small but we were expecting it.
- We don't this property was not good value for money (but we were in town for a wedding the same weekend of a golf competition so probably prices were inflated)
- No luggage storage
- Mark (9/5): A clean comfortable room in a good location - It was clean and comfortable and exactly what I needed for my trip. Nothing on note
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rodney (9/5): Superb -
- Ivan (4/5): Disappointing - Per the description on this very website 'Each room features a hairdryer, shower, carpeted floors, electric kettle, streaming services, tea and coffee maker, work desk, seating area, and TV'. Given that my room had neither a work desk nor a seating area, it's difficult to characterise the above statement as anything other than a lie. Furthermore, when I complained about the lack of these basic facilities to the property administration, they found it beneath themselves to even apologise for the inconvenience they caused. Instead, they suggested that I should have explicitly requested that my room needs to have these basic facilities! I can only speculate as to why this guesthouse believes that their clients need to request the facilities they already claim to provide, but, if you do choose to stay at this venue, I would recommend specifying that you'll need a bed, just to be on the safe side
- Rajeshwari (7/5): Good - The Wellesley is nice and cozy as I had opted for the standard double room. The downside was the lack of elevator for me as I was given a room on its top floor (3rd) and I had a large suitcase for my 15 days UK trip. There is no staff in the premise but the property staff responds to whatsapp promtly. It is also very neat and tidy. I recommend this place if you want to stay in the Queens quarter provided you are not carrying a lot of luggage with you. No elevator / lifts.
- Kevin (6/5): Pleasant - Price Room smaller than it looked in the picture
- Zohre (3/5): It's not too bad but wasn't worth the money - Having a kettle in the room The duvet was strained
- Aengus (10/5): Lovely location and room, friendly staff - Lovely room, really liked the location. Good communications with staff.
