• Cristina (10/5): La mejor elección . - Tuvimos buenos alojamientos en Costa Rica, pero en la casa de la playa de Michelle y Carlos fue dónde más a gusto estuvimos. La comunicación con ellos , tanto antes como durante nuestra estancia fue excelente. Reúne lo mejor de Costa Rica: ubicación, naturaleza y amabilidad. Inmejorable ubicación a 10 minutos andando del pueblo pero con la sensación de estar aislados frente a la playa y unas vistas preciosas del Golfo. Allí mismo, hay Kayak para hacer salidas de avistamiento de delfines, ballenas o disfrutar del espectáculo de la bioluminiscencia. La casa muy limpia, con buenos colchones para el descanso, fuegos de gas para cocinar y comer en el porche, dónde estar horas mirando el mar . Desde la casa vimos monos titi, colibrí, guacamayo, ranas... , a dos minutos cocodrilos, desde el porche, ballenas. A la amabilidad tica se suma la generosidad de la familia del alojamiento. Son del lugar y viven a lado, lo que permite responder a cualquier necesidad , estar tranquilos y sobretodo tener información de la zona tanto actual como histórica. Carlos compartió su tiempo y conversación con nosotros llevándonos a un cerro para disfrutar del paisaje y del despertar de los pájaros, también nos ofreció acompañarnos a ver los cocodrilos . Un placer conocer este lugar y estas personas tan especiales. Gracias.
• Richard (10/5): Don't expect glamour expect a real genuine costa rican experience - Look this is as rustic as it gets. Don't expect glamour - it's a basic apartment right on the seas edge. Its a cold water tap shower with basic cooking facilities but that adds to its authenticity. No ac but fans in bedrooms. The hosts are genuine & want you to fall in love with the area as much as they do. We loved it. The whale watching trip with the neighbours was just brilliant as was the trip into the national park - car & walk organised by tour operator 5 minutes from property Great stay & yes we feel in love with it x
• BRUNO ALLARD (10/5): Un petit sejour au Paradis, loin des touristes proche de la nature - La gentillesse des hôtes l aventure avec les crocodiles la plage presque privé le poisson frais des jeunes voisins Rien tout était parfait
• Damien (9/5): - L'emplacement de la maison était superbe, juste en bord de plage. Il y avait des meubles sur la terrasse et des hamacs très confortables. Les propriétaires étaient extrêmement aimables et sympathiques. Carlos nous a même emmenés voir les crocodiles et fait goûter des noix de coco fraîches. On a aussi été faire un tour en bateau (prix compétitif) pour voir les baleines avec les voisins. On pouvait aussi emprunter des kayaks gratuitement. Tout était très bien, mais sachez que c'est une maison simple et basique. Ce n'est pas le grand luxe; c'est le cadre qui en vaut la peine.
• Mario (10/5): Het paradijs bestaat echt!! - Wat een ongelooflijk mooie plek is dit!! Carlos en zijn vrouw zijn superlief en doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Een droomlocatie, heel eenvoudig maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Een uitzicht uit een boekje, met in de verte walvissen op zee. Carlos nam ons in de ochtend mee naar een vijver vlakbij en toonde ons drie grote krokodillen. Daarna nog een luiaard gezien, papegaaien en hagedissen. Carlos is een oermens die verliefd is op zijn woonplek. Hij verstaat de kunst van de juiste keuzes maken in het leven. Niets!
• Flor Emilia (10/5): - El lugar está rodeado de naturaleza, es lindísimo! Hay privacidad y mucha paz y tranquilidad. La casita es muy cómoda, perfectamente equipada. Las camas y las almohadas geniales, mí hermana y yo dormimos placenteramente! Despertar con el sonido de las lapas y de los muchos pajaritos que hay es una experiencia increíble! Carlos y Michel, los dueños, son unas personas maravillosas, simpáticas y gentiles. No hay nada como llegar a un sitio y tratar con personas locales, que conocen realmente el lugar. Ellos nos llevaron a conocer diferentes playas y bueno, fué hermoso escuchar relatos y demas. Definitivamente regresaré! Todo me gustó 😃

Carlos et Michel sont très attentionnés et nous font sentir tout à fait spécial ! Bonnes recommandations pour aller à Corcovado et sortie de pêche en mer. Cette location a définitivement été notre endroit préféré de notre voyage (famille avec 2 adolescents). Beaucoup de faune à observer directement sur le terrain. Le happy monkeys est 100% Pura vida !

• Thomas (10/5): Most relaxing place in middle of pure nature - Carlos and Michelle were great hosts! Michelle is very responsive, she replies to booking.com messages not just within hours, but sometimes within minutes. She offered to do laundry for me after I came back from a 2-day/1-night Corcovado tour, and I had my clean & dry laundry back 2 hours later. Carlos picked me up from the PJM airstrip (also here, excellent communication with Michelle as my domestic flight was delayed by an hour), then gave me a tour through the town pointing out the most relevant places and even stopping at the Corcovado tour agency where I had booked so I could check in (~12 hours before tour start) while Carlos waited in his car - he also brought me to PJM airstrip after my stay. They both came to my patio one late morning and handed me a fresh mango which I peeled and ate right away, one of the best I’ve ever had. Carlos borrowed me his umbrella two evenings, so I could walk to the town in the rain. From my patio (where I’ve spent most of my time awake), I’ve seen: macaws, toucans, hummingbirds, pelicans, frigate birds, cormorants, vultures, iguanas, crabs, dolphins. And every morning the howler monkeys were my “alarm clock”. I’ve not used the kitchen but it is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal. “Happy Monkeys” is a 10-min walk from the pier where most Corcovado tours start - very convenient when your tour starts at 5:20am - and max. 15-min walk to all shops & restaurants.

• Marilyn (9/5): I would stay here again and recommend it. Our hosts were great. - Excellent location with monkeys visiting daily. Relaxing view with hammocks and outside table to eating. Full kitchen. No air conditioning but plenty of fans for cooling.
• Galina (9/5): Great stay, good location close to Corcovado - Very friendly owners, warm welcome , location right on the beach and close to restaurants. We saw a few monkeys right on the property, and a crocodile nearby (thanks to the owner showing it to us!) Great stay before going to Corcovado, the owner dropped us off in the early morning at the meeting place for the Corcovado tour. No problem to leave the car while we were at Corcovado for the night. The beach towel was provided by request. We felt a bit chilly after the first night, and asked the owners for the warmer blanket for the 2nd night. Otherwise only a bed sheet was there , no blanket. Cold water shower but it is typical for the location. This is not a luxury accommodation but it serves the purpose , we enjoyed our stay.

• Robin (10/5): Perfect spot on the sea near the city center - The location of this property near the center of Puerto Jiminez and on the ocean with a view of the sea and the boats was perfect. Coffee on the porch with the fresh air was so relaxing. Accommodations were comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We booked last minute but I would book again in a heartbeat. The owners were very nice and greeted us promptly upon our arrival to answer any questions and explain the layout. The property is adjacent to a business for kayak rentals, which we did not use this time but have in the past, and that would be very convenient for travelers visiting who also want a kayak adventure. We were a couple, but the accommodations would be sufficient for a small family or group.
• Sanne (9/5): Fabulous location, super relaxing hammocks with amazing view and close to restaurant and town. - The location is great, its very private with an amazing view. It is very close to the beach to swim (less than one minute walk). It is also very close to a really nice bar called Los Delfinos, and a couple more in walking distance. The hosts (Michelle and Carlos) are really friendly, there is a complementary airport pickup and really fun crocodile tour. Nothing. The place doesnt have airco, but there are a lot of fans provided.

• Adrian (10/5): Perfect location, directly on the beach front. Incredible sunset views. Helpful and friendly owners. - What a beautiful place to stay, I loved it so much here that I stayed for an extra couple of nights. The location is incredible, directly on the seafront, with a couple of hammocks, a garden, and then a secluded section of the beach right ahead of you. The most incredible sunset views too. The owners are wonderful; very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is spacious, simple, and very clean and functional. It really does have everything you could need. Although there is no air conditioning, there are plenty of fans in the property, and good mosquito/bug netting throughout the doors and windows, so you can have a beautiful breeze blowing through at all times to keep you cool. From a location and value point of view, I really don’t think this place can be beaten! All that, and the owners very sweet and friendly little dog too :) Nothing. It was perfect for me.
