• Giorgia (5/5): Lovely staff but rooms need to be cleaned to a better standard - Staff were friendly and helpful Room was ok but no hot water in the shower. There were lots of ants in the room and on the bed and at one point my bag was completely covered in them so had to empty everything outside and clean all of my things. It’s also right next to a mosque which was extremely loud, difficult to sleep even with ear plugs in. We were woken up in the middle of the night and again at sunrise every day so couldn’t get a full nights sleep
• Dayita (4/5): - Nothing literally nothing. I booked a terrace view room but they have given ground floor room. And said that terrace view room is already booked. Rooms were not so clean too many insects.
• Olivia (2/5): Filthy room - Strong air con, nice duvet, good balcony, close to the harbour. When we checked in we couldn’t believe the state of the place. I’ve attached pictures to show this. After 4 months of travelling Asia, we have never stayed in such dirty conditions. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There were blood splatters all over the walls which was very unsettling. The bathroom had accumulated so much limescale which just shows that it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. There was loads of chewing gum stuck underneath the shelf which you can see when you’re lying in bed. Absolutely vile. The staff were always asleep behind the front desk. The pool looked very badly maintained as it was so cloudy. On the 2nd night there was absolutely no WiFi. To echo other reviews, the hotel is right next to a mosque so at 4:30am on both mornings we were woken up to the sound of the call to prayer through a megaphone. We expected this as we had seen the reviews, but we didn’t expect every other disadvantage we were met with. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere because this place is absolutely disgusting and you can find so much better elsewhere on the island.

• Cisse (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay here. Could have loved to stay longer but they were already booked for Christmas. Friendly staff and the pool is a huge plus with these kinds of budget stays. When i come back to giliT this will be my first choice IF they are available to book 😅. Btw I loved every call to prayer from the mosque and was always looking forward to it... Yeah, the mosque is close but you can accept it or not, up to You. You can't choose who stays with you in the same hotel, that's always part of the experience I guess. Some guests just don't have any respect towards others. No discredit to Seaside hotel here, they were great, just some quests being "kings"

• Alexander (1/5): Nettes Personal, fragwürdiger Eigentümer. - Die Zimmer sind relativ sauber und das Personal ist sehr engagiert und super nett. Am letzten Abend meines zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts habe ich sie alle ins Restaurant eingeladen. Die schlechte Bewertung bezieht sich auf den Eigentümer des Hotels. Dieser zahlt der Personal nur ungefähr 100€ im Monat und sie müssen 7 Tage die Woche arbeiten, bei nur 4 freien Tagen in Monat.

• DanielePp (6/5): Ottima posizione ma tutto il resto fatiscente - Staff gentile e disponibile. Posizione comoda, a 3 minuti a piedi dal porto e dalla strada principale. Struttura molto fatiscente, stanze con crepe nei muri e bagno abbastanza datato. Molto vicino ad una moschea, verso le 4/5 di notte si sentivano nei megafoni le preghiere come fossi dentro la moschea.

• Mattia (4/5): Fortunatamente 1 sola notte - Posizionata non sulla via principale, quindi zona piuttosto silenziosa. Camera piccola, bagno piccolo e doccia senza box o tendina quindi era inevitabile bagnare tutto (sanitari compresi) quando ci si lavava. Livello di pulizia generale scarso (in linea con l'isola che decisamente non ci è rimasta nel cuore) e muri sporchi (forse zanzare schiacciate).

The only thing missing was hand soap :) There's no refrigerator in the room, but you don't need it. The reception is nearby, and we always used the refrigerator. Thank you, everything was great.

Location about 200m from main drag down a small road . Rooms are adequate in size for a solo traveller or budget conscious couple. The staff will service your room on request The downside is the mosque. You certainly don't need an alarm clock and at 5:00 in the morning the noise is Extremely Loud. If you want to wake up this is it. • rahul suseel babu (9/5): - Sea Side Hotel in Gili Trawangan was a great stay! The room was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained — perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to all the main spots, restaurants, and the beach. While you can hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosque, it didn’t bother us and is part of the local charm. Overall, a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We'd happily come back!

The location is very strategic—close to the main area, so you can walk everywhere without needing a bike. However, the ceiling above the bed could use a bit more maintenance, as there was a slight presence of mold.

Vegg i vegg med ett bønnetårn som har bønnerop 5 ganger i døgnet. Holder på til 23-24 om kvelden og starter kl 4-5 om morgenen. Måtte bruke ørepropper for å døve ut bråket da det var veldig høyt.

• Franziska (6/5): Ist in Ordnung - Die Unterkunft war klein und überschaubar. Die Betten waren bequem und die Zimmer sauber. Lage war unschlagbar, direkt im Zentrum. Fahrräder konnte man auch vor Ort ausleihen Leider waren die Handtücher auch nach dem zweiten Wechsel nicht sauber. Der Pool war trüb. Der Junge von der Rezeption konnte leider nicht gut englisch und somit konnten offene Fragen nicht unbedingt geklärt werden. Direkt neben der Unterkunft liegt eine Moschee, diese beginnt in unmöglicher Lautstärke um 4:30 Uhr morgens, war schon sehr störend da man sich kaum unterhalten konnte, bzw. Schlafen konnte. Ebenfalls fande ich die Miete der Fahrräder etwas teuer, zudem diese auch echt die besten Jahre hinter sich hatten (40 k/ pro Tag)

• Gauchotiger (9/5): Great value for the amenities - The staff was super chill, allowed me a late checkout as i needed wifi. The pool and room was kept clean and the bed was comfortable as well. The balcony overlooking the pool was nice. The proximity to the loud mosque was a big minus but the walls were better than other hotels in the area so it wasn't super duper loud.

• Bruce (4/5): Für den Preis Ok. - Das Badezimmer ist extrem heruntergekommen und es kam ein dauerhaft giftiger Geruch aus dem Bad. Das Bettzeug war nicht komplett sauber.

Good location Staff were very friendly Overall very good stay apart from a few small issues Really bad smell from the bathroom Our door was a slide door, so did not close tight meaning bugs and geckos were able to easily enter the room. Prayer time start around 4am and it is very loud, we were woken each morning. We experienced a power cut which lasted for around 4 hours. The room was extreamly hot and filled with bugs. It is understandable powercuts happen on an island but maybe a backup generator would be a good investment.
