Staff were really friendly and helpful- helped organise drivers and spoke to us about their culture. There was no hassle to only use the villas services and encouraged us to see the rest of Luxor. The breakfast terrace was amazing- beautiful view of the Nile. Safe, quick walk to the public ferry. Good to have a washing machine and fridge in the apartment. The building is beautiful and staff kept it very clean. Thanks to Hussein and Nubi for safe, comfortable driving. Noisy cockerel nearby- would recommend bringing earplugs!

Alles kon en niks was teveel. Ahmed die ons steeds naar de overkant bracht was zo superaardig, behulp en zorgzaam. Hij werkte de hele dag. Het ontbijt was prima. Bedden waren heel goed. We hadden een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het balkon op de Nijl en de oostkant van Luxor. Met pijn in ons hart zijn we vertrokken Niks. Alles was prima en fijn
• Sara (10/5): - Newly renovated as of 2025 and situated on the west bank of the Nile, Villa Sunrise offers a relaxed and reliable retreat from the busy and crowded east bank. The staff is talkative and friendly, and eager to accommodate you and your needs regardless of whether this is best for their own business or not. Here the customer comes first. I recommend listening to the staffs advice and tips. I also highly recommend the restaurant on the first floor. The food takes its time, but good and safe food is seldom prepared in a hurry. This was definitely my best accommodation in Egypt and made me spend an extra night in Luxor, even though I came from a 5-star beach resort the day before. 10/10 would stay here again. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon avec une carte variée, pas la peine d’aller ailleurs ! Le temple de Louxor est pile en face, sur l’autre rive. De nombreux bateaux font la traversée. Le gérant est gentil, honnête et de bons conseils pour les excursions. Je recommande vivement cette adresse pour Louxor ! - WiFi capricieux.

• philip (10/5): Fantastic everything - Absolutely everything was fabulous, from the quiet location close to the ferry to the East bank to the fantastic staff. Mohammed and all his family welcomed us warmly, treated us like family - the ones you like - and were always happy to arrange anything we needed from transportation to the airport to trips locally. Our 2 bedroom on the ground floor had a beautiful terrace out back, very comfortable beds, great quiet a/c and a nice sitting room. It has been newly redecorated so it's like new. We were welcomed with a lovely fruit basket and received a great present at checkout. I cannot recommend Villa Sunrise highly enough. Nothing to carp about.
• Kskaterines23 (9/5): Komfort, piękny widok na Nil, dobre śniadania. - Bardzo miły, nienachalny personel. Przyjechaliśmy przed godziną zameldowania i byliśmy wyczerpani nocną podróżą busem. Po wcześniejszym kontakcie z personelem pozwolono nam zameldować się około dwie godziny wcześniej. Do dyspozycji mieliśmy pokój, kuchnie, łazienkę oraz balkon z tarasem. Dużo udogodnień mi.in: pralka, lodówka , czajnik elektryczny, suszarka na pranie, telewizor, wifi, balkon, taras, ręczniki, suszarka do włosów, szampon i żel pod prysznic. Z tarasu rozciąga się piękny widok na Nil. W cenie wykupionej przez nas oferty śniadania - jajka, tosty, dżem, masło, miód, kawa, herbata, mleko, jogurty i owoce- zazwyczaj banany i pomarańcze. Zapytano nas czy chcemy zjeść na tarasie, który znajduje się na dachu, czy też na dole oraz o godzinę, o której chcemy zjeść. Wszystko elastycznie, nienachalnie. Czystość również oceniam na plus. O czym też warto wspomnieć - bardzo dogodna lokalizacja. Bardzo blisko do lokalnych knajpek, do promu ( około 5 minut i koszt w jedną stronę za osobę 25egp, choć jeśli ktoś woli łódkę - wyjdzie też drożej w zależności od dnia tygodnia i pory dnia )

The staff were very nice with many tour options. They also offer great breakfast with many other options for drinks and food. Overall, the stay was great and the location is right next to the boat that takes you across the Nile river.

• CHANGHWAN (9/5): 서안 쪽 숙소 중 나일강 1선 조망이 가능한 아파트형 숙소 - 1. 서안쪽 숙소 중 위치는 정말 좋습니다. 나일강 바로 앞이고, 근처에 괜찮은 마트, 그리고 식당도 몇 있어요. 2. 나일강 뷰가 좋습니다. 3. 아파트형 숙소이고, 낡기는 했습니다. 거실 1개, 방이 3개라서 대가족이 머물기에 적합합니다. 4. 방마다 에어컨이 있고, 베란다도 있으며, 취사가 가능하고, 세탁기도 있습니다. 5. 이용하지는 않았지만, 1층에서 식사도 가능하고, 직원분들 친절해요. 냉장고가 고장 나서 불편했습니다. 대부분 숙소가 그러하듯, 수질이 좋지 않은 편이니 샤워기 필터는 가져가세요.

Mohamed et toute son équipe ont été incroyablement accueillants, attentionnés et disponibles. Grâce à eux, nous avons pu découvrir la Vallée des Rois, faire un tour en chameau inoubliable au coucher du soleil, et naviguer en felouque sur le Nil — des expériences magiques que nous n’oublierons jamais. L’ambiance à la Villa est chaleureuse et détendue, les chambres sont confortables, et les conseils de Mohamed sont précieux pour organiser son séjour. Un grand merci pour ces moments extraordinaires ! /

Итак, пойдем по порядку: * Первое что хочется отметить - это персонал. Их отношение к гостям греет душу и радует. Нас встретили очень радушно, всегда были на связи и всегда были готовы помочь! Большое спасибо за это! Никто не пытался нас надурить, как это часто бывает в Египте. * Апартаменты очень большие и комфортные, колоритные, 3 спальни и просторная гостиная, есть кухня. В каждой комнате кондиционер (в одной правда не работал, но для нас это было не критично). Есть стиральная машина, посуда, холодильник, фен. В общем, все, что нужно для комфортного пребывания. * Сам отель небольшой, но очень душевный. На первом этаже есть кафе с очень приятными ценами. Мы заказывали еду прям в номер. На крыше терраса, где можно расположиться и наслаждаться видом. * Отличное расположение, через реку сразу Луксорский храм. Место тихое и спокойное. До пристани рукой подать. * Вид на Нил с номера и с террасы просто потрясающий * Без проблем организовали трансфер до автобусной остановки. Искренне рекомендую это место и желаю хозяину и персоналу дальнейшего процветания! Обязательно буду всем рекомендовать!
• Kato Lee (9/5): Wspaniałe chwile w Luxorze - Przyjechaliśmy do Villi Sunrise niestety tylko na 3 dni. Obiekt położony nad samym Nilem blisko przystani z miejscowym promem, co bardzo ułatwiło nam zwiedzanie Luxoru i Karnaku. Z tarasu rozpościerał się wspaniały widok na ciągnący się w dole Nil, po którym pływały różnego rodzaju łódki i stateczki. W oddali, pośród nowszych budynków majaczyła starożytna Świątynia Luxorska, dodając temu miejscu jeszcze większego uroku! Właściciel zorganizował nam cudowny lot balonem o wschodzie słońca, który wspominamy z łezką w oku przy porannej kawce, siedząc w swoim domu na tarasie. Wycieczka do Doliny Królów oraz Świątyni Hatshepsut pozostanie w naszej pamięci do końca życia. Uprzejmość i troska o gości Villi Sunrise była naprawdę niesamowita. Dzięki właścicielowi mieliśmy bezpiecznie zorganizowany transport do kolejnego naszego punktu na mapie Egiptu, tzn. Marsa Alam. Za co jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni wspaniałemu kierowcy Mahmoud'owi. Po odpoczynku nad Morzem Czerwonym, postanowiliśmy zwiedzić Asuan. Problem jednak zaistniał z transportem na południe Egiptu. Droga z Marsa Alam do Asuanu została zamknięta z powodów bezpieczeństwa i trzeba było wrócić do Luksoru i dopiero stamtąd szukać transportu do Asuanu. I tu ponownie z pomocą przyszedł nam Mahmoud, który bezpiecznie zawiózł nas do miejsca zakwaterowania w Asuanie. Dziękujemy z całego serca za wszelką pomoc i niezapomniane chwile spędzone w Luksorze oraz za przepyszne tradycyjne egipskie śniadania. Pozdrawiamy Aneta i Leszek.

• Clarke (10/5): Wonderful host and an amazing place to stay, would recommend 100 percent to stay - Our experience was amazing. Mohamed is a fantastic host from us booking the apartment he helped us arrange transport to collect us from our hotel which was in El Gouda and helped with organising our trips. The villa is right on the Nile with amazing views of Karnak Temple. Our guide was organised for us by Mohamed and was brilliant. He was called Mo and his English was fantastic. He had so much knowledge of the places we visited. I would definitely recommend Mo if you are going on any trips to the valley of the kings, queens, or any of the Temples. Sunshine villa was the perfect place for us to stay and I couldn’t have ask any more from our host Mohamed. He is such a gentleman, not pushy at all, amazingly helpful and only wants you to enjoy the experience of Luxor. He treated us like family and made us feel so welcome. If we needed anything he would always be there to help and support any thing we needed. I can’t recommend staying with Mohamed enough. I booked the stay because of the lovely reviews on here and they are definitely true. Also there is a small cafe underneath the villa which I can definitely recommend. I couldn’t believe how cheap it was compared to where we was staying in El Gouda so definitely recommend. The only thing I would say is that you need to take mosquito spray and a plug for your room. But if you do forget like we did Mohamed got one for us. I just want to say a huge big thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful Mohamed.

• Juliette (9/5): Un petit paradis pour découvrir Louxor et profiter du Nil! - Super établissement familial! Mohamed et son équipe nous reçoivent très bien et sont à notre écoute pour que le séjour se passe au mieux! L’hôtel est situé sur la rive ouest, au calme avec une très belle vue sur le temple de Louxor. L’appartement est confortable et bien équipé. La cuisine du restaurant est très bonne et la terrasse agréable.
• frédérique (9/5): Bonne adresse à Louxor, proche de la Vallée des Rois. - Logement bien situé au bord du Nil en face du temple de Louxor. Nous avons apprécié qu'il soit de l'autre côté de la rive touristique car c'était plus calme. Pour rejoindre l'autre rive, la traversée se fait facilement et pour un coût raisonnable. En revanche le lieu n'est pas très identifiable car le nom du logement est fréquent à Louxor et pas mis en évidence. La maison familiale comporte un restaurant plutôt occidental de type snack. L'hébergement est très spacieux car nous avons eu la chance d'avoir l'appartement au 2eme étage avec terrasse. Grand lit confortable, petite kitchenette et une salle de bain avec machine à laver. Le personnel était très sympathique, serviable et aidant. Ce que nous n'avons pas apprécié : Quelques dysfonctionnements : pas de gaz (mais bonbonne changée immédiatement), porte de lave linge bloquée (mais changée immédiatement), le bruit des travaux à côté le soir. Par ailleurs, les prix des excursions proposés étaient au delà de ce que nous avons pu trouver ailleurs.

Auch die Lage ist super, man ist direkt am Nil und kann jederzeit ein Boot zur Eastbank nehmen. Es gibt ein kleines & feines Restaurant direkt in der Unterkunft, das eine große Auswahl hat!

• Marek (9/5): - Apartament zgodny z opisem, bezproblemowy kontakt z gospodarzem. Na górze znajduje się taras z widokiem na Nil. W pobliżu restauracje i sklepiki. Dom znajduje się na zachodnim brzegu Nilu. Do przystani, z której odpływa lokalny prom do Luksoru, jest około 5-10 min piechotą. Koszt promu (stan na luty 2025) dla obcokrajowców to 20EGP (0,40USD) od osoby w jedną stronę. Jest też druga przystań, dosłownie zaraz naprzeciw wyjścia z obiektu. Stąd gospodarz oferuje dla swoich gości przeprawę prywatną łodzią motorową na druga stronę Nilu w cenie 100EGP (2USD) za całą łódź w jedną stronę. Tak że jak podróżujesz w grupie jest to bardzo dobra opcja. Jak najbardziej polecam.
• Marek (9/5): - Apartament zgodny z opisem, bezproblemowy kontakt z gospodarzem. Na górze znajduje się taras z widokiem na Nil. W pobliżu restauracje i sklepiki. Dom znajduje się na zachodnim brzegu Nilu. Do przystani, z której odpływa lokalny prom do Luksoru, jest około 5-10 min piechotą. Koszt promu (stan na luty 2025) dla obcokrajowców to 20EGP (0,40USD) od osoby w jedną stronę. Jest też druga przystań, dosłownie zaraz naprzeciw wyjścia z obiektu. Stąd gospodarz oferuje dla swoich gości przeprawę prywatną łodzią motorową na druga stronę Nilu w cenie 100EGP (2USD) za całą łódź w jedną stronę. Tak że jak podróżujesz w grupie jest to bardzo dobra opcja. Jak najbardziej polecam.

La vue magique sur le Nil et le temple de Louxor. La terrasse collective sur le toit. Le bruit du coq et de l'âne au beau milieu des nuits. Mais, il faut accepter d'être ailleurs.

• Tobias Rous (10/5): - Mohamed and his team are incredibly welcoming and kind-hearted hosts. The apartment cleanliness are remarkable and the rooftop terrace offers an incredible view. What truly stands out, however, is the genuine hospitality. You feel like a cherished guest and are embraced as part of the family in Luxors Westbank. Every need is met with care and attentiveness, without ever being intrusive. Thank you for giving me a very good time.
• beyda nur (6/5): Antik Mısırlı gibi mistik ve hoş - Teras manzarası çok güzeldi. Nil Nehri'nin kenarında kendinizi bir antik Mısırlı gibi hissedebilirsiniz. Tesiste kendinizi evde hissedebilirsiniz. Rahat ve güler yüzlü hizmet vardı. Feribota ve motoryatlara çok yakın. Luxor'da ihtiyacınız olan zaten west bank ve east bank arasında kolay geçiş yapabilmek. Kolay geçiş noktalarına yakın olması çok güzel. Wi-fi çalışmıyordu. Klima çalışmıyordu. Sular sürekli kesildi ama bu durumun şehir hatlarından kaynaklı olduğunu söylediler. Bir de bize gider gitmez teklif ettikleri tur fiyatları dışardakinin 5 katı pahalıydı.

• Rebecca (10/5): The most perfect stay in one of the most incredible of places - After travelling far & wide, I can honestly say our stay at Villa Sunrise will stay with us forever. Run by Mohamed, a true gentleman and one of the kindest people we’ve ever met, we were treated as friends from the moment we placed the booking. We couldn’t have asked for more, the apartment was clean & comfortable, well facilitated and every need we could possibly have had was met. The restaurant downstairs was fabulous, so much so in fact that we ate there every day. The property is on the opposite side of the river to main Luxor & as such had a much more relaxed feel to it & sitting either on the roof terrace or downstairs at the restaurant with a drink watching the boats along the Nile was the best tonic to modern life. Mohamed himself was absolutely fantastic and the highlight of our stay. Before we’d even arrived he’d kindly organised and booked all our trips for us, all (apart from the balloons) as private tours with our own guide. These all ran smoothly, were well priced & we learned so much from them. He treated us with kindness & respect, always happy to sit and talk with us, suggest where to go and what to see and went out of his way to ensure our stay was the best it could be, even organising a birthday treat for one of our party. We honestly cannot recommend a stay here highly enough, a truly fabulous place to stay & we’re already planning our return! Thank you!

• trevor (10/5): Perfect stay in Luxor, thank you Villa Sunrise! - Wow! I can’t say enough about Villa Sunrise and my wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, Mohamed and staff made me feel very welcome and treated me like family for the duration. He connected me with a great local guide, Raefi to explore the nearby temples and tombs. He also arranged an unforgettable felucca ride on the Nile with a fresh and delicious lunch prepared over an open fire, followed by a glorious sunset. The rooms are nice and clean, and the cafe offers a wonderful selection of Egyptian and international cuisine for a great price. Also, the view of the Nile and Luxor temple from the upper terrace pretty much can’t be beat. Thank you Villa Sunrise, a true gem on the West Bank.

Desde que reservamos en Booking estuvo siempre atento a todo lo que necesitábamos. Durante la estancia de dos días, las recomendaciones que nos hizo para conocer Luxor nos ha dejado un recuerdo inolvidable. Lo recomiendo 100%. El alojamiento es precioso, cómodo, espacioso y muy tranquilo. El restaurante nos gustó mucho tanto el desayuno como la cena. Las vistas desde la Terraza de la segunda planta son preciosas. La excursión por el Nilo en Faluka espectacular. Muchas gracias a Mohamed y a todo su equipo por hacer que nuestra estancia en Luxor fuera lo mejor de nuestro viaje a Egipto. • Bilal (7/5): very basic and comfortable but not cheap - location not very comfy, as it is on the other end of nile from all attractions and main city. you have to use the boat and bargain every time you go to main city, and while coming back if it is too late, you may not find a boat, or he will charge you more. Host Mohammad was super helpful in every thing. he will provide all the info, and may arrange all kind of tours within the city. however you need to be aware of pricing and details of all tours to get better prices, otherwise the prices Mohamed will quote may not be competitive and that makes perfect sense as he is there for his commission as well. No iron available at the location. road is not paved so very dusty. toilet shower was broken and leaking despite many efforts could not be fixed.

• Manpreet (10/5): We highly recommend Villa Sunrise to stay - Mohamad and Hussain were both extremely helpful, - Mohamed and Hussain were absolutely fantastic hosts. They stayed up to meet us on arrival (2am - very early hours) and when we departed (3am). Mohamad was extremely helpful with arranging taxis for us, guides to local attractions, helpful tips, food etc. Mohamad's brother was amazing too - he helped us get accross the nile on his motor boat and took us on an amazing feluca ride down the nile at sunset time - he is a very skilled sailor and we enjoyed his company and many stories of tea on the water. We loved our stay at Villa sunrise and absolutely recommend Villa Sunrise to stay. Mohamad and Hussain were amazing! Nothing - everything was great!

I recommend it. Bear in mind you expect to live a traditional village style holiday With all what comes with it A typical daily village style life yet a natural one Which I love it. I booked a rooftop room Which is located in second floor So If you have any mobility issues I wouldn’t recommend this room as no lift in the place. Perhaps you could book ground floor room. Restaurant closes at 10:00 PM I understand that they have a family to go to. But for a tourist, we wish it can open till like a midnight.

The level of dedication, hospitality and willingness to make our stay perfect were very much appreciated. The restaurant is a plus and the food is prepared on the spot (we had breakfast and dinner twice). If you need anything Mohamed and the team are there for you. Thank you very much for making our stay unforgettable. Nothing worth mentioning.

De omgeving kan 's nachts wat lawaaierig zijn (bijvoorbeeld een haan).
