- Abigail (10/5): Beautiful hotel with excellent tram link to city - What a wonderful hotel. I received a room upgrade with my booking.com points and what an upgrade! This hotel made me feel like royalty! The room and decor was gorgeous, everything was so comfortable and there was lots of storage space. Everything in the hotel, the foyer, hallways, food hall, looked deluxe, clean and modern. I practically lived in the sauna which really made my stay! The location couldn't have been better, there was a main tram link literally outside the doors to the hotel which you can jump on for free since Geneva kindly give out free travel cards to hotel stayers. It made everything I wanted to do in Geneva so simple! Links to main attractions and to and from the airport was seamless. I had the best meal of my life at one of the sister hotels where I received a complimentary drink and bite. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options and very clean and well organised. 10/10 stay, I didn't want to leave! Nothing :)

Das Zimmer war sauber, jedoch sehr laut, u.a. ganzer Lärm der SBB, es waren alte Fenster, nicht renoviert, auf dem Stock auch lärmig, undichte Türen. Auf meinen Wunsch das Zimmer zu wechseln sind sie nicht eingegangen, obwohl ich viel für das Zimmer bezahlt habe.

- Olga (5/5): - Hotel jest bardzo czysty i codziennie sprzątany. Śniadania są swieże. Lokalizacja obiektu też bardzo na plus. W zasadzie wszędzie jest blisko. Obiekt pobiera depozyt na wypadek zniszczeń lub innych okoliczności. Uważam to za śmieszne biorąc pod uwagę standard mojego pokoju, który był podniszczony i wymagał remontu (-drzwi w łazience się niedomykały, prysznic przeciekał i zwykle leciała z niego letnia woda, nawet telewizor był krzywo zawieszony). Nie mam pojęcia co mogłabym zniszczyć w takim miejscu. Poza tym czułam się jak intruz ze względu na stosunek niektórych pan z recepcji do gości. Ze względu na mój wcześniejszy przyjazd umożliwiono mi wcześniejsze wejście do pokoju za dopłatą. Nie działa to w dwie strony, nawet jeśli opuścisz obiekt na cztery godziny przed wymeldowaniem. Będę odwiedzać piękną Genewę. Z zakwaterowania w Royal raczej już nie skorzystam.

- Mrcg1968 (4/5): Poor room v images hotel chooses to share - very disappointing. Staff great. - The staff at the hotel were excellent. I had a couple of early issues (room not ready), poorly cleaned room - but these were dealt with as one would expect. Hotel in decent location, only 5 minutes from the main station, and about 10-15 into town or lakeside...... On arrival, my paid room was not going to be ready for the expected contracted time (Elite One Bedroom) - so I was offered an upgrade, which sounded great. However, the room, whilst large, was poorly furnished to a standard that is not represented in the images the hotel uses and certainly very unlike those for my paid room - my upgrade, on reflection, felt like a downgrade.. The room's furniture was old-fashioned and dark, there were chips and marks on numerous dressers, tables, sofas - and in the bedroom, the two chairs were worn and threadbare. In addition, in the fridge, a 1L glass water bottle had attached to the fridge and shattered. When I attempted to remove it, I suffered a small cut - which the staff, as mentioned above - were kind enough to help me with - some basic first aid/plasters. I appreciate I could have asked to be moved back to my original room, but it was not going to be available until later in the evening, and when on a short break, you don't want to waste time chopping and changing rooms. Finally, I do try not to complain, rooms can often look or seem different, but on this occasion, I do feel there is an element of mis-representation.

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Mitään suuria puutteita en huomannut. Suihku on ammeen puolella ja ammeessa on kyllä melko korkeat laidat. Saattaa olla vaikeaa vanhemmalle tai sairaalle ihmiselle kuten minulle. Huoneessa on kirjoituspöytä,mutta outoa ettei sen yllä ole mitään lamppua tai kohdevalaistusta. Ilmastointi oli joko rikki tai ei toiminut. Jääkaappi oli lämmin, ei viileä.

- Sabrina (9/5): Schönes Hotel mitten in der Stadt zum guten Preis - Das Zimmer war geräumig, die Betten bequem. Die Einrichtung war sehr schön. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Lage ist super nicht weit in die Altstadt und zum See. Das Auto kan man günstiger am Bahnhof parkieren und dann 5 Minuten zu Fuss gehen. Nespresso Maschine auf dem Zimmer. Das Frühstück war nicht so gut, der Raum sehr dunkel ohne Fenster. Für den Preis erwarte ich mehr Auswahl auch an regionalen Spezialitäten. Bademantel und slipper haben gefehlt, für Zugang zum Hammam

Dimitri at the front desk was especially great, he is the kind of staff member that all hotels should have. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Our rooms were both a bit too warm, even with the air conditioning turned completely off.

- Angelika (4/5): - Eine Dame an der Rezeption Frau Nana war sehr freundlich. Die Bilder entsprachen nicht wirklich dem eigentlichen Zustand. Eine Änderung vom Zimmer war nicht möglich oder Rückerstattung. Mussten für einen hohen Aufpreis ein Upgrade buchen. Beanstandungen (Kühlschrank kaputt) wurden nicht behoben. Bei der Rechnung wurden auf einmal mehr Sachen abgerechnet obwohl es hieß beim Einchecken das alles in Ordnung ist. Laut den Mitarbeitern ein Fehler im System, wurde aber auch nicht richtig gestellt. Kein freundlichen Personal bis auf die eine Person.
