• Guest (10/5): Beautiful hotel and fantastic staff! - The staff was the highlight of our stay. My sister and I only speak English and had never traveled to Colombia before so we were nervous about our stay but everyone was so accommodating and helpful during the check-in process and the entire trip. I also could not find a ton of information on the hotel beforehand so I was nervous about that but the resort was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We went in June during their slow tourism season so it was not crowded at all. There aren't a ton of guest rooms anyway so I'm sure it is not crowded even when they are full. During the day when the beach club day guests come the vibe is a lot louder and fun. In the evenings though, when the day guests leave it is very calm and quiet. The staff took us snorkeling and on bike rides around the island. They also offered to take us to other beaches or beach clubs during the day if we wanted to. If there was anything we wanted to try around the island they took us. The rooms are sort of like little bungalows and had good AC and wifi. Our room was very clean and had plenty of space. Overall we loved staying here and had so much fun! The only thing that I could note that might be a negative for some people is the rooms don't have a great sound barrier agains the beach club outside. So during the day you can hear the music and outside guests but it did not bother us at all.

• Felipe (8/5): Grata experiencia y excelente servicio. - Lo que mas nos gustó fue la atención del personal de la Isla, desde el recibimiento hasta cuando nos fuimos, todos muy amables y siempre dispuestos a solucionar cualquier problema. Los tragos y comida bien preparados. La música en vivo también muy buena, hasta el DJ se mostraba dispuesto a ayudar ante cualquier duda. En cuanto a los espacios comunes todos muy limpio y ordenado. Nosotros nos quedamos una noche en Mangata así que también puedo opinar respecto a la habitación, la cual si bien se veía limpia y ordenada no se veía igual a las fotos publicadas. Quizás para mejorar la experiencia, recomendaría dejar una escoba en la habitación para barrer la arena que entra desde el exterior. También sugiero cambiar las cortinas por unas mas oscuras ya que en el día se transparenta todo hacia el interior y en la noche la luz de los focos exteriores iluminan toda la habitación, lo que dificulta conciliar el sueño. Lo único malo que podría destacar es que tiene una zona de playa muy pequeña, pero de igual manera se disfrutó.
• Camila (7/5): - Funcionários são muito simpáticos e prestativos, em especial o Kevin que nos atendeu muito bem durante toda estadia e nos pareceu ser muito eficiente. O hotel é realmente mais Beach Club do que qualquer outra coisa e tudo gira em torno disso. A música, a comida, os preços... A música, conforme mencionado nos outros comentários, fica alta das 9h às 15h, 16h, até o pessoal que veio passar o dia ir embora. O preço da comida durante o dia é pratocamente o dobro de Cartagena (+100, 120k). Denoite tem um cardapio italiano caro mas mais acessivel que o cardápio diurno. No café da manhã os funcionários não deixam claro o que tem ou não.. e algumas coisas são pagas mas não é avisado. Os hóspedes nao podem usar as esteiras de frente para a praia das 9h às 15h da tarde. Os banheiros possuem um piso estranho que suja facilmente e não tem limpeza de quarto ( a menos que seja solicitado). A praia é ótima mas tem bastante pedra.
• Fernanda (9/5): Estadía perfecta: hospitalidad, confort, una playa paradisiaca y momentos inolvidables - Mi experiencia en este hotel fue excepcional. Desde el momento en que llegamos, el personal se destacó por su amabilidad y atención a los detalles, haciendo que nos sintiéramos bienvenidos en todo momento. El personal fue cálido, profesional y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con una sonrisa. Recuerdo mucho que me dio gripa en la noche y una chica asistente fue hasta el pueblo a conseguirme un medicamento para la gripa, lo valoro mucho. Las instalaciones son realmente hermosas, con un diseño impecable que invita al descanso, el lujo y la relajación. La playa es hermosa y paradisiaca, hicimos snorkel y vimos los arrecifes y un montón de peces preciosos. La comida y los cócteles superaron nuestras expectativas, con una variedad de sabores que encantaron nuestro paladar, los desayunos excelentes!!. Además, la música ambientó perfectamente el lugar, creando una atmósfera ideal para disfrutar cada momento. Sin duda, un destino al que volvería sin pensarlo dos veces. La atención a través del chat de Booking podría mejorar. Sería útil contar con una repisa en la ducha para colocar productos como shampoo y jabón, lo que mejoraría la funcionalidad de la habitación. Una hamaca o sillas para el jardín estaría ideal junto con mejor iluminación exterior. Duchas eléctricas de agua caliente, a veces por los días lluviosos hace frío y bañarse con agua fría no es agradable.
• af (2/5): - Las instalaciones Que alquilamos con aire acondicionado y no funcionaba, alquilamos con heladera y la habitación no tenía. Es un hotel ubicado lejos de todo y de algún modo uno tiene que consumir allí y se aprovechan de los precios. En nuestra estancia en las instalaciones del hotel se llevó a cabo una fiesta electrónica por 12 hs . Sin importar los huéspedes . Esa noche nadie durmió, fue un desastre , una burla a quienes elegimos dormir ahí, estanco incluso propietarios presentes. Una VERGÜENZA
• kuldeep (1/5): Worst experience. Please avoid at any cost - Breakfast was okay with limited drinks such as juices. They gave us bottled orange juice. Location is only good for day passers I barely ever write a review but I must write one for Mangata. We were given a room with paint all over the floors , on furniture, and bed. Room was very dirty with broken entry door that wouldn’t close and no way to lock the door , windows were shattered and wouldn’t close because of that room wouldn’t get cooled. Finally after making a complaint with the front desk we were given a different room which was little better than the first one but without hot water. We never had a room cleaning during our stay , never changed bedsheets or gave us new towels and We had to go ask for towels. We had over 20 bug/insect bites from the room not being cleaned. It took us 2 hours to get our lunch after after speaking with the manager as they were too busy serving the day passers. We weren’t able to get a cabana on our first day and got one on the second day but found out after an hour that it was one of the other guests whereas the staff removed the belongings and gave it to us which ended up being a shit show. They really don’t have good food menu and the prices are ridiculous. They charge you $135,000 pesos for a fried fish with rice whereas the price on the island is between $65,000 to $85,000. They didn’t even have typical island food options available other than pizza or pasta. We had a boat transfer by the hotel. Boat left 4 passengers behind including us two so we had to speak with the manager and he sent a small boat to another hotel where the original boat was picking up other passengers. Please do not stay at this hotel as it’s not tailored towards day passers as that’s where they make their money.
• Vanessa (8/5): PARTY CENTRAL IN THE DAYTIME - Large spacious room Hot tub with cold water not hot Boutique type environment Right on the beach Safety deposit box in the room Beware, there is a live DJ from 9 am in the morning until 3 pm playing extremely loud music to the day trippers who take up all the facilities and sunbeds and daybeds. If you want a quiet getaway in the daytime, this place is not for you however, after 3 pm, it is like a morgue. None of the staff speak any English, and it is extremely difficult to communicate without a decent level of Spanish. Cold shower.
• Jintoft (3/5): Beware, this is a party beach club with blasting music from 9-15 every day. - Food was good, especially the ceviche Nice location with beautiful views A bit messy to get to and from the island. The hotel helps you get a seat on a daily shuttle boat. But they gave the wrong departing pier to many guests. Some guests they said they could not help either getting to/from the island. Hotel guests were down prioritized against day-trippers. Hotel initially said the sun beds were not for hotel guests, only day trippers. Eventually they were ok with us using the sun beds. We had to ask the staff to clean the room and give us new towels. Food was good but overpriced (COP 100-150k for most main courses). The room was very basic with limited amenities. Eg no safety box, no toiletries, no hand towels. Water did not work much of the time. Eg could not shower of flush the toilet for hours. No warm water. The hotel cooperated with a local boat rental for day trips to the nearby islands. The rental service was good but on both of our day trips we were given one price before departing. When we got back the rental guy demanded COP 50-150k more than what we said initially. The situation got a bit aggressive so we just paid. Staff barely spoke English which led to a couple of misunderstandings when ordering food/drinks.
• Hannah (1/5): Not for me, come for the day if you like Beach clubs - To be honest, leaving! Mangata Beach club is just that, not a hotel. There are a few rooms but really it’s not set up for people staying, the focus is on the day trippers who arrive on boats at around 9am and leave at 3pm. During this time they ramp the music up for a super loud ‘party vibe’ and charge extortionate prices for drinks as once you’re there you’re pretty mush stuck. Once 3pm comes, the day boats all leave and they shut the place down. There is zero ambience at night, the restaurant isn’t even open and they want you to pre order any dinner as you’re one of only a handful of people there. Breakfast is less than enticing too and again the staff however nice they are (which they mostly are) are too busy getting the beds set up for the boats which are about to arrive. As a hotel guest you’re left feeling a bit of an inconvenience. The rooms are ok. Ours was right next to the generator that kicked off early. There was an outside area to our room, which was unkempt and the jacuzzi, dirty and empty. Make sure to check your bill, ours had way more put on it than we had which was already a stupid amount of money for what we did. Come 9am when the DJ ramped the music right back up again we couldn’t get out of there quick enough. We paid extra to get a private boat away. Again the staff where on the whole nice and it might appeal to you if you like beach clubs and super loud music but if that’s the case come for the day and don’t waste money staying in a ghost hotel at night.
• Astrid (2/5): DO NOT GO HERE - Nice people working there No information about anything, and as an overnight guest you have no access to the beach club. On my second day I was told to stay only on the dock as the rest of the place was booked for day visiters. Highly misleading information and marketing about the accommodation. This establishment should not be allowed to brand themselves as a hotel. I strongly recommend not to book. When telling the manager that I were dissapointed he just ran off and avoided the conversation.

Muy recomendado para pasar un momento tranquilo y agradable Tienen problemas de presión con el agua y eso hace que sea más lento el drenado de aguas residuales y en la cama las sábanas no eran tan cómodas

• Maria Lucila (8/5): Lo maximo!!! - El personal realmente está enfocado en atenderte y que tengas la mejor estadia. La ubicación es hermosa, muchisima paz. La musica y el ambiente que se genera es un 10. Lógicamente al estar en una isla hay problemas con la electricidad, se iba la luz o se cortaba el aire acondicionado pero el personal del hotel intentaba resolverlo al instante.

• Mariana (10/5): Maravillosos días frente al mar - Hicieron del final de nuestro viaje algo hermoso!! Solo agradecimientos al personal y al hotel porque el lugar es hermoso, las instalaciones son muy cómodas para el lugar donde están, ( uno se queda en medio de una isla )y en este hotel te hacen la vida muy , muy fácil. Atentos a todo en todo momento, nunca sentimos que le presten más atención a los pasadías que a nosotros. Estuvimos dos días y medio y antes y después que se van los pasadías es todo un paraíso , en nuestro caso éramos 4 y el hotel solo para nosotros. Tuvimos agua caliente todos los días, la comida es excelente, con precios normales para el lugar donde está, la limpieza y el cuidado de las instalaciones es maravilloso. La música mientras están los turistas que van a pasar el día es bastante suave y llevadera en ningún momento nada de tanta gente fue molesto ya que está todo muy bien organizado. Y en ningún momento hubo ningún insecto que molestara a pesar de estar en medio de la naturaleza .Gracias Mangata por los días que nos hicieron pasar!!!
• Floren (1/5): - La amabilidad del personal y que nos ayudarán Empezando por el hotel, a la llegada todo es fiesta y atención pero una vez se van los del tour parece que sea un hotel fantasma, no hay musica, ni practicamente servicios, ni gente...Ellos venden una pasadia de unas horas pero no lo recomendaria para hospedarse, ya que parece que el que se queda no importa, para casi todo teniamos que pagar (sentarte en las camas balinesas, precios de comidas carisimos, actividades...) la habitación olia muy mal, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y aun comunicandolo no nos lo arreglaron, por tanto, hacia un calor insoportable, la electricidad la cortan a las 5 de la mañana... Por otra parte, la isla está fatal, salimos a visitarla y nos encontramos un vertedero de basura, animales en muy malas condiciones, no hay sitios para comer, para ir a otras playas casi todas son privadas... Teniamos 2 noches y menos mal q nos dejaron acortarla a 1 noche. Lo mejor fué la atención de Miguel y Uriel

• Alejandro (6/5): Fiesta de boda en el caribe - Cuando a partir de las 15h se va la gente que va a pasar el día y apagan la música después de 7 horas y reina la tranquilidad. Eso si, el personal es muy amable. Desde las 9 hasta las 15h parece una boda con música a tope. La carta escasa y caro de la leche. Prepárate a cenar pizza de la congelada y patatas fritas. Te cobran por todo todo y no poco, hasta las gafas de snorkel.
• Giorgio (8/5): Very nice place on Isla Grande, but beware of the beach party between 9:00 am and 15:00! - Mangata has a very nice location on a corner of Isla Grande, few rooms with a small beach. It has a very good Italian restaurant where you can order "à la carte" both for lunch and dinner. It partners with some local guides who offer boat tours of the island, which is really the best thing we had. Our guide Felipe was really awesome, but in general all staff is very friendly and nice. We did not know that, but everyday between 9:00 am and 15:00 the hotel is actually a beach party, a club with a DJ playing very loud music, mainly reggaeton, We stayed there on Saturday, which was even crazier than the other days, so if you want to be quiet, this is not your place, or simply you need to be somewhere else between 9:00 and 15:00, after 15:00 it become very quiet and lovely.

• Alissa (7/5): Buena - Nos hicieron check in 1:30, antes del horario indicado en booking (2pm). La ubicación es bonita, el color del mar también, pero tiene muchas piedras, ayuda llevar aquashoes. Las toallas están un poco sucias, la carta tiene precios muy elevados, el hotel se enfoca mucho en la pasadia y a las 3 pm muere todo incluso para los huéspedes del hotel, te dan una carta de noche que es más económica pero que no la dan en el día, lo cual es incómodo ya que te obligan a pagar más. El agua se iba por momentos, era necesario pedir que lo revisen, había poca presión de agua. No hay agua caliente, sin embargo, por el calor que hace tal vez no es tan necesaria. No tiene piscina
• Helena (9/5): Un sitio increible del que no te quieres ir - Es un hotel bastante tranquilo, con una playa espectacular y unas instalaciones brutales. La habitacion estaba muy limpia cuando entramos y era muy bonita. Por la mañana habia ambiente y fiesta pero por la tarde se podia disfrutar de la playa y el silencio, cuando se habian ido los "pasadias". La comida esta buenisima y el personal es muy agradable. Da un poco la sensacion de que se presta mas atencion a las personas que van solo a pasar la mañana más que a los que nos alojamos alli (se les asignan camas sin reservar ninguna para los huespedes, por otro lado cuando se van los "pasadías" el hotel se queda un poco "desmantelado" porque recogen todo y se queda un poco revuelto, como un local cerrado). Además, teniendo en cuenta el precio del hotel esperaba que se nos limpiara la habitación y se nos hiciera la cama todos los días (de estar en la playa se termina llenando de arena inevitablemente). Por otro lado, el agua parece que va y viene y tampoco te explican ni te dan instrucciones de uso. Nos quedamos en la ducha sin poder acabar de limpiarnos en un par de ocasiones porque ya no salia mas agua.
• ERIKA (8/5): Molto piacevole - Bella la struttura, la spiaggia piccola ma con bel mare, accoglienza, gentilezza e cibo. Musica molto alta dalle 9 alle 15. Mi piace la musica però se fosse più bassa sarebbe più apprezzabile anche perché nessuno balla quindi tanto vale tenerla più come sottofondo in modo che in quel paradiso ci si possa anche assopire!

Chambre sale, musique a niveau terriblement élevé toute la journée. Une fois arrêtée, c’est le bruit du générateur diesel et ses odeurs qui prennent le relais… de plus prix très cher pour la qualité de la nourriture et de l’alcool. Propreté très insuffisante dans la chambre. Pas de plage réelle, on se sent enfermé. Nous avons essayé de nous balader dans le village : aucun intérêt réel à part constater que la population locale ne bénéficie pas de la somme d’argent colossale que ce type d’établissement récupère.

• Aviles (9/5): Excelente las instalaciones y el lugar es maravilloso - Todo maravilloso, personal muy agradable y dedicados a tener una bonita experiencia, agradable en todos los sentidos No hubo una buena coordinación en el embarque de las lanchas, personal externo al hotel. Pero después E compensó con todo lo vivido.

Una playa privada al lado de la habitación tal que te podías pegar el primer baño a las 7 u 8 de la mañana y hasta las 18-19 horas con un mar de agua tibia El staff, son un equipo, cada uno sabe lo que tiene que hacer. Nos recibió Kevin, un pilar , siempre estuvo ahí para darnos consejos, de comida, paseos, resolviéndonoslo la vuelta. Miguel y las chicas nos acompañaron en paseos. No perderse los tragos de Hector, recomiendo el mejor Coco Loco que tome en toda Colombia. Recomiendo este paraíso Mejoraría la señal de wifi que llega a las habitaciones, un extensor de señal. Igual se solucionaba acercándonos al router de recepción y disfrutando de las instalaciones

• Marta (3/5): - El entorno del hotel es muy bueno, asi como el paisaje. Nos ofrecieron bicis para poder recorrer la isla. El personal siempre nos atendió con amabilidad. Teniamos unas expectativas altas del hotel, pero una serie de circustancias hicieron que tuviesemos una mala experiencia. Tuvimos que cambiar tres veces de habitación porque no funcionaba el aire acondicionado, y la última que nos proporcionaron nos vimos obligados a avisar para que la limpiaran ya que no estaba acondiciinada. Lo que hizo que no disfrutaramos de la isla como pretendíamos. Por otra parte al hotel van pasadías, algo que ya leimos, y creemos que está más enfocado en eso que en el resto de huéspedes.

• Gabriele (8/5): - Die Anlage liegt wunderschön und an einem sehr kleinen Strand.Der Geschäftführer Oriel ist absolut nett. Ab 15 Uhr kehrte Ruhe ein.Es wurde für 2 Personen ein leckeres Abendessen zubereitet. Mit Oriels Tipps haben wir die Anlage verlassen und uns an anderen Stränden aufgehalten. Übernachtungsgäste waren wir die einzigen.Von 9 bis 15 Uhr kommen die Tagestouristen. Als wir 3 Tage dort waren fanden jeden Tag organisierte Feiern statt und laute Musik. Es ist nicht für Ruhesuchende. Es hat uns geärgert, das Booking.com extra Partys/Feiern ausschließt.Sonst hätten wir die teure Unterkunft nicht gebucht.
• Michał (9/5): Doskonale położony,przytulny - Z naszego bungalowu, byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Po kilku dniach czuliśmy już jak w domu. Wszystko na dobrym poziomie, czysto i schludnie. Ciekawy jest system funkcjonowania ośrodka. około 10.00 rano przypływa łódź z plażowiczami z Kartageny. Mają wykupiony jednodniowy pobyt na terenie ośrodka, z drinkami i obiadem. Plażują do około 15.00 i odpływają. Po godzinie 15.30 ośrodek jest kompletnie pusty, za wyjątkiem gości hotelowych. Akcja powtarza się każdego dnia. My przyjęliśmy taktykę, opuszczania ośrodka po godzinie 9.00 ucinając sobie spacery poznawcze po wyspie i wracaliśmy około 10.00. Zdążyły się nam dwa dni, że byliśmy kompletnie sami. Bardzo blisko do centrum Pueblo. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa, mówiąca ( w części) po angielsku. Jednym słowem, Bardzo polecam! Częste awarie w dostawie wody do bungalowu, szczególnie rano i wieczorem, były dosyć kłopotliwe. Z uwagi na położenie na wyspie, często wieje bardzo mocny wiatr od morza. Czasem kilka dni. Na dłuższą metę może to być lekko irytujące. Oczywiście to nie jest wina hotelu.
• Jess (3/5): - Pretty location on the sea front. Friendly staff. Music too loud. Wifi did not work at all in the room and water did not work all the time.
• Ninfa (10/5): Location stupenda - Oltre alla location che è spettacolare, la vera differenza la fa lo staff. I ragazzi sono fantastici, ci hanno sempre fatto sentire i benvenuti , difficilmente trovi un personale così. Bravi bravi bravi ! Un suggerimento , magari aggiungere qualcosa in camera dove appendere gli asciugamani e una luce piccola su un comodino.

• Felipe (10/5): - Destacar al personal muy amable, los chicos Kevin y Uriel desde el primer minuto están siempre atentos de los huéspedes, te hacen sentir como en casa, muy buena atención, felicitaciones!
• Yuri (10/5): Local magnífico e ótimo atendimento! - Localização linda, praia, água, atendimento dos funcionários, principalmente o Uriel, que fez nos sentir em casa, nos apresentou a ilha, outras praias, foi muito atencioso durante toda a estadia. Poucas opções de comida no cardápio e horários para os pratos restritos
