• Judy (9/5): Great stay in a wonderful and relaxing location with food and wonderful staff. - The Grill restaurant was delicious. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. We loved walking the large grounds. So peaceful. Our room was specious, and I enjoyed a bath — Something I never have time for. They helped us celebrate our 25th anniversary with champagne and chocolates. I enjoyed having a gym to work out in although the hours were not broad enough for our tight schedule. There is nothing I could say I did not like except: trust me soap and hangers. Everything was tacked down and if I a pending $550 US a night I am stealing neither. Los bubble bath for tub would have been nice. I had to pour the tacked down soap into a shower cap to have something to bathe with then there was no kettle for the tea bags.

• Sherri (10/5): Stunning Estate - The Estate was breathtaking. We stayed in the original main part of the estate & the rooms and bathroom were huge. Everything was great.

• Lee (10/5): Fantastic hotel. Worth every cent! - Booked this Hotel to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Amazing location. The best steak I’ve ever had in the Grill restaurant. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good drink selections in the bar. Room was clean, spacious and had all needed facilities. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be booking this hotel again.

• Maria (10/5): Really enjoyed it and hope to return - Overall presentation was excellent, grounds beautiful and staff overall were friendly. Loved the singer on Saturday night and general atmosphere of hotel. Relaxed but efficient. Staff at grill restaurant were very friendly and cleaning staff too Welcome when we arrived by male receptionist was very cool. In fact no welcome at all. Disappointing start to our stay.

• Joseph (6/5): Five stars with a few points missing - The bed was comfortable Bad smell from the bathroom fan, the smallest breakfast cereal bowls I’ve ever seen in any hotel not to mention a 5 stars . I asked what would be a quieter time for breakfast , I was told before 9am so I booked for 8.30. The staff in the breakfast area constantly cleaning tables , banging cutlery down cups etc while holding their own conversations with each other across the room , more like a fast food restaurant. Pipe music droning on . Nothing quiet or relaxing about it

• Johanna & Julian (9/5): Schönes Anwesen auf dem man verweilen möchte - Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war angemessen. Wir hatten einen Sitzbereich, den wir sehr praktisch fanden. Außerdem gab es eine Ablage für den Koffer. Das ist immer von Vorteil. Dusche hatte wirklich Wasserdruck und das Wasser konnte richtige heiß gestellt werden. Beim Frühstück war das Personal überdurchschnittlich freundlich und bemüht (großen Dank an Marcin!!). Gerade wenn man eine Allergie hat, ist es schön wenn man ungefragt Tipps erhält. Außerdem schön waren die vielen Räumlichkeiten für Aufenthalte, Cafés, Bar und Restaurants sowie der Rundweg von 4 km. Wir haben einen Tag nur am Hotel verbracht. In der Toilette hatten wir Silberfische und unser Zimmer litt sehr unter der Luftfeuchtigkeit nach dem Duschen weil die Lüftung nur sporadisch ansprang. Dadurch wurden unsere Anziehsachen im Koffer klamm. Aber bei anhaltendem Regen und großem Mückenaufkommen wäre Fensteröffnen keine nachhaltige Lösung.

This is a five star hotel by which all others should be judged. It is an absolute credit to its owners, management and staff. That I was unable to change my travel arrangements to stay longer.

• Bernard (7/5): Not 5 Star - Distinctly Average - I liked the lobby and the bed was comfortable. Cocktails in Grill on night 1 were beautiful. Both showers in the Spa were broken. You couldn't wash off after sauna. There were 2 saunas and steam rooms, only one was working. There was a funny smell in the bedroom, like gas, could only be smelt on entry, then you got used to it. Breakfast was poor. My wife ordered pancakes the second morning, they were pathetic, and presentation was awful. Eggs benedict on first morning was distinctly average. Staff were fine. Lots of hellos but that didn't translate to going the extra mile. Requests were fulfilled. We asked for extra tea and water and it was fine. Called room service for ice cream at 9:20pm. Ro service was only until 9pm. Was told chefs not working. Fair enough. No alternatives offered no light or brightness from young man who took the call. Young gentleman in Tuppers Bar was extremely rude both days. Felt like a chore ordering from him. Did not feel welcome at all.

• Lorraine (10/5): Lyrath, short break away. - The staff, they are excellent. From the moment we arrived they were very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. My husband had just finished treatment and it was just what we needed. The only interaction that was not great was the person on the Spa reception. When we inquired about just using the infinity pool and the sauna, she was a little dismissive and told us that the leisure centre provided all of that. I was looking for the Spa experience, that I prefer. Anyway we left and didn't book it. My husband just laughed at her assumptions. We are both in our mid 60's!
