- Jim (10/5): Great place for an Elie weekend - Location, rooms, comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, great communications with local company. Room and water heating could have been warmer and more controllable. I do realise that this is an old property and this could be difficult.

- Patricia (6/5): Pleasant - The location was excellent The service was very bad because they didn’t have our booking We weren’t given the key code until the day before and that was only because i contacted the company. No one came to check anything. No instructions. No welcome pack. Windows painted shut. No garden furniture for the beautiful view Day of arrival could not contact company to find out how to use kitchen equipment. The large aga style cooker had its electrical panel taken away.
The kitchen was well equipped but no instructions.
It’s obvious that we were not booked in.
I paid £2000 for 3 nights and it was taken from my account 4 weeks before arrrival !!!
It was very disappointing to have a lovely property and such poor service that did not reflect the high cost. I was told we would get no compensation

A later checkout for the price would have been good.

- Norman (9/5): A magnificent comfortable house on the beach front. - A beautiful house in a superb location with the following features -
- Spacious , well appointed & comfortable accommodation.
- South facing garden which gets the sun most of the day.
- Private driveway which accommodates at least 4 cars.
- 3 fridges & 2 freezers came in very useful.
- Plenty of crockery, pans & oven trays.
- There is an electric oven & 2 ring induction hob as well as the range.
- A second (original?) kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and 2 pulleys for drying clothes.
- There is also a decent knife sharpener.
- A number of Wi-Fi extenders throughout the property.
- The complimentary oaty biscuits. Some improvements which may benefit future occupants-
- A clear, simple one page instructions on each of the essentials e.g. heating, hot water, cooking range, bins, TVs etc.
- Slicker, more responsive communications from letting agents.
- A very large stock pan commensurate with the size of the property. The largest available was 3 litres.
- A windbreaker.
In addition, outwith the control of owner/agents, the mobile telephone reception is very patchy.
- Craig (10/5): Family 2 night break for 50th birthday - Luxurious, with lots of rooms, plenty parking on the drive and stunning views. Loved our stay with our family. Nothing to dislike.
