• Susan (8/5): Quiet location, comfortable room and friendly staff. - Quiet location yet just a few minutes walk into town, including the excellent Club Bombala bistro. Wool (not synthetic) blankets provided if the quilt is too warm - you don't see that often.

Booked room was downgraded and either misunderstood or misleading information offering similiar facilities was not correct. Solution found but not without stress.

• Sheila (7/5): On arrival I was advised by the manager that we had been given an upgrade which was a lie as all rooms are the same. - The beds were comfortable, microwave, Kettle and toaster supplied, tea and coffee supplies were good, good internet, close to town. Room was not checked before moving in, mouse droppings on top of bed, in single bed, under pillows, on window ledge, between shower and vanity and dead cricket in vanity drawer. Mouse moving around at night. Insufficient bedside power outlets, faulty bed light. Manager was rude and trying to deflect blame on blame us the guests.

• Fiona (8/5): - I have visited this motel 3 or 4 times now for work. The rooms are recently updated and always clean. It's a nice, quiet, comfortable country motel. There's a leaking air con in front of one room and some patchy finishing of the painting.

• Jay (9/5): - Very clean and well appointed room and bathroom. The bathroom although compact, was nicely renovated and the shower was spacious with plenty of hot water. Location was a perfect stopover point when travelling from Sydney to Victoria. Short walk to the club and restaurants.

Staff very attentive. Rooms whilst not luxurious are a cut above some small country towns. Chose to stay on our way down and back to Victoria.

Discount at Chinese restaurant. Friendly owners, clean room and perfect for overnight stay passing through town. No issues.

• Murray (1/5): Terrible place to stay be sure to drive straight past - Good location and the cleaning lady was exceptionally nice.they seemed to have the wrong person in charge of the motel. Our experience with the manager was very poor.He had no people skills and was very hard to deal with and he was extremely disrespectful towards the people staying there.The manager was a very shifty/shady character who appeared to have his own agenda.

• SANDRA (6/5): - The bed was really comfortable. Location for our needs Kitchenette ...we are a couple so we expect two of everything . The fact that there was one large plate, one small plate, 2 wine glasses✅️ 3 mugs/cups all mismatched & different sizes, 2 bowls again mismatched & different sizes, 1 little tumbler, mismatch of knives,forks and spoons but no teaspoons...may seem trivial but no good if you decided to eat & drink in the room...Plus the fact relying on guests to clean after yourselves depends on everyone's cleanliness..I had to wash everything before I could use it!...if they spent that extra & care in making sure there were 2 of everything & sizes my score would have been more.

Appreciated the kitchenette with a hot plate to be able to cook our own meals. It was right in town, close to restaurants and shops, though we were just passing through. Comfy bed. Clean. Friendly check-in. Nothing major. Maybe a how-to list to work the heater. The heater controls were a bit confusing and the heat didn't come on for a long time (when it did, it heated the room nicely). It would seem simple to those used to these wall units perhaps, but this one was particularly confusing. Was getting a bit concerned that it wasn't working, but then finally kicked on. I know you can't do anything about neighbors, but too bad your kitchen window view is of a junk yard next door.
