Guest Reviews
- Linda (8/5): Really nice place - Great location, lovely views from the house, plenty of room for everyone, lovely owner who is very helpful, Tesco is only a 5 minute walk away, the beach and town are only a 30 minute walk from the house, lots of staples available to use - salt, pepper, oil, dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets. I would book again. Just being picky really but the place is a little tired and could do with some smartening up, the toilet seat on the upstairs loo was loose but we fixed it, the bed mattresses are a bit old and you can feel the springs but we just put a blanket under the sheet, the address on booking.com is incorrect.
- Lynne (10/5): Exceptional - Great host ,wonderful location near to beach and town ,supermarket close by the house had everything you needed . Nothing the only suggestion I have is a little grassed area would be nice but the side of the garage has an amazing view for the seating .
- Morton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mccormick (10/5): Exceptional - The home had a lovely feeling to it, even my 19 year old was content.
- Ciara (7/5): Good -
- Emma (10/5): Home from home. - We loved the homely feeling and the views. Was a nice walk to the strand beach. It made you feel like you were on holiday, especially with the lovely weather we had. It is a great base for exploring the north coast. The kitchen had all the equipment and utensils needed. It was great to see a holiday home having good-sized saucepans for large groups. We would definitely stay again. There were only 2 bathrooms for 11 of us, but it just felt like being back home when we were growing up, the bathrooms themselves were fantastic. 😊
- Karen (9/5): Lovely peaceful location to explore area. - Great location and lovely views. The house had character.
Super outside space for the dogs.
Host responded really quickly to any questions with a helpful response. No washing line a little inconvenient for drying beach towels / wetsuits but we just used fence.
I didn’t mention this to host at the time , if i had she’d probably have got something sorted.
Barbecue had a sign to clean it after use but it was quite dirty when we went to use it so had to clean it first, again no big issue but was probably missed by cleaners.
- Andrew (10/5): Group stay in PortStewart - Excellent property for our group of 11 as a base for touring the North Coast.
House was very clean, well prepared for our arrival and the hosts were very good at communicating with us to help us find everything we needed. Very little to be negative about, the house did exactly what we expected.
