• Joseph (6/5): The bed was comfortable and for my one night stay, that’s all I was looking for. - Location was good with easy access to the downtown area. Also, the farm next door had a friendly horse. The room was spacious.. They were not prepared for my arrival. They were unsure of which room was booked and when that was resolved I was given a room with used towels on the bathroom floor. Perhaps there was a mixup with the reservation. Other than that, the facility was modestly pleasant.

It looks like a slightly disheveled country mansion that has been squatted by hotel guests! nothing really.

• Vincent (8/5): A quiet and welcoming place to stay a night on an Irish roadtrip - The location off-M4/M5 was very convenient for my purpose. Loved the feeling of the place’s history. Also the property is large and away from any noise so had a great quiet sleep. There are rabbits on the lawn! The bed was a bit too soft for my liking - definitely a matter of taste

• Katharina (1/5): DON'T GO - DON'T GO!! Sehr dreckiges Hotel. Die Betten waren nicht frisch gemacht, die Handtücher schmutzig. Überall Krümel. Unter dem Bett lag eine alte McDonalds Verpackung. Im Zimmer war auch ein fremder Handschuh, der nicht von uns war. Insgesamt alles ungepflegt und unhygienisch. Kann ich nicht empfehlen. Don’t go!

• Konstantina (1/5): - The outside garden Initially, on my first night, I was given a room without a wardrobe, and it was so small that there was barely enough space to walk sideways. The room was in a terrible condition — extremely dirty — and I developed an allergic reaction twice, which forced me to go to the hospital. Inside the wardrobe, there were mouse traps, which was completely unacceptable. There was no heating, and the internet simply did not work at all. Overall, a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

Friendly staff There was no sign indicating this was the accomodation, so we were unsure if we were knocking on the door of private property or accomodation. We were directed to our room, the room was run down and dirty with piles of dirty laundry under the bed. On pulling back the covers there was actual dirt in the bed. The toilet did not flush also. Unfortunately it was late in the afternoon when we arrived and too late to find anywhere else. We were very glad we only booked 1 night.

• Alison (9/5): Recommend - I'd def stay there again. - Fabulous breakfast ... HB eggs, fruit, cereal, toast etc. Way better than I was expecting ! Older style rooms, but a lovely, grand house. Heater was on, so warm and cosy ! Lots of bunnies on the lawn in the evening. Loads of parking. Wifi was a little patchy.
• Geoffrey (9/5): If I found myself in the area on a return trip to Ireland, I would consider staying here again. - It was what I expected, and for me personally, I felt this was just grand. Gerard, the host was friendly, welcoming and we had some great conversations, even though we didn't always agree with each others' perspectives. I felt that this was respectful and healthy. I would have no problems staying here again! I enjoyed it. There was nothing that I did not like.

Gave the host Gerard a rough time of arrival but very accommodating as I arrived well after midnight. Accommodation simple but clean and warm with no noisy guests Simple self service breakfast included with congenial but not intrusive company from the host If you need a simple affordable accommodation late at night then I would recommend I was a single male traveller but would be happy for my daughters to stay there on their own

Super Preis für ne nette Übernachtung in Flughafennähe Die Dusche war zu Hightech für meinen Geschmack, wollte nur heiß duschen, aber viele Knöpfe und Funktionen machten das Ganze eher zu nem etwas unnötigen Abenteuer. Bedienungsanleitung wäre super gewesen.

• Klesun (7/5): Old mansion - The hosts are nice chill people. This property is, like, a literal mansion, very authentic. Hot water available. My room was pretty clean. The doors are very worn out and hard to shut. The sound isolation is pretty poor, I heard every single time when my neighbor blew his nose. Hopefully his health got better by now. The wi-fi was kind of weird. The 5ghz wifi worked without issues, but the regular wifi did not load half of the websites and applications, including my bank app, which was kind of crucial to me in a foreign country.

• Frank (1/5): I have stayed in better tents on a camp site in the rain. - I stayed here 2 years ago when it was being run by a gentleman around 70 years old with no problems and an excellent cooked breakfast. This time it was run by an approx 30 year old who was not interested. The room was cold as the radiator did not seem to work and the general decor and furnishings were shabby. At approx 10.30 on Saturday breakfast was served with a few boiled eggs and fruit. Sunday breakfast was almost non existant as the circuit breaker for the sockets had failed so the toaster and kettle couldnt work. After trying to reset it twice, he gave up and was not concerned that there was no breakfast available. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again. Most things, see above.

• michael (1/5): - The place was very cheap. You wouldn't get a bed in a dorm in Dublin, Cork or Galway, for the price of a room here. Room was filthy, very bad smell. Things were broken, place was falling apart. The guy running the place tried coming into my room without knocking (lucky door was locked) overall very creepy vibe. Although the price was good, I really regret booking here. Wouldn't come back even if you paid me.

I believe this place has a lot of potential, but it’s missing someone who will take proper care of the cleanliness. I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but in this case I feel I have to. When we arrived, we were greeted and the owner showed us around. Unfortunately, as soon as we entered the room I noticed the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed — it was full of dust and dirt. The worst part, however, was the bathroom, which hadn’t been cleaned at all. The toilet seat was stained with urine, there was hair in the shower, and the sink was covered in dust. It was a really unpleasant experience.

Local sossegado e seguro Foi difícil localizar a propriedade, o navegador levava-nos sempre para outra casa. Acabamos por conseguir ir dar ao local com a ajuda de um Sr. e do proprietário a quem telefonámos.
• Amelia (2/5): - My staff got to enjoy nothing I had 2 staff booked in for work.Both travelled back home 2 hrs extra journey each morning and evening as the beds were so uncomfortable. Springs were digging into their backs and sides.The first night next morning at 5am another person in a different room kept banging doors real loudly This continued well over 20 mins while at this stage my staff was left fully awake and annoyed of the disturbance to their sleep. They were left with back pain and little sleep for the day whilst having to work and help customers. When they finished their work they drove home 2 hrs extra each evening and the same each morning. This booking of accommodation was to alleviate them of the extra mental and physical exhaustion from trying to concentrate on driving not to mention the extra fuel expenses occurred on business. I am never one to complain and have never done a review to this level of complaint or dissatisfaction but I feel that I had no choice Everyone works hard for payment and handling it over to book accommodation where the springs in mattresses were sticking into backs and then been awoken at 5am with other people's banging of doors does not seem to be customer satisfactory
