- Natasha (7/5): Just what I needed for a difficult trip back home. - Easy to book, clean and comfortable Having a glass for cold drink would have been good but not a deal breaker

Would highly recommend anyone wanting to book and stay.
Location was perfect.
Close to all bars .
Only problem was parking.
Otherwise a lovely place to stay 😃

- Nikki (5/5): It was ok for one night stop over. - The photos of the bedrooms looked really lovely. The reality was the property was a bit run down. My room had all that I needed but was small and the window didn't let a lot of light in.
- Grace (8/5): Good - Good location No fridge to store my food
- Jenna (9/5): -
- Marian (10/5): - Good location. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed I noticed the shower could have been cleaned more thoroughly and there was a smudge on the door post
- Philip (8/5): A nice relaxed stay close to town centre. - Ideal location, met with a friendly smile. No issues with check in or check out. An old building with an old feel about it. Wifi was very good and easy to connect to. We had booked 2 rooms, the double room was spacious and well laid out, however it needed a good dusting/cleaning. A lot of cobwebs in and on lampshades. The twin room again was okay but was cold in comparison to the other room. One radiator was not working. The Curtains unfortunately didn't block the light out completely on one of the windows. While these are all small issues I feel that need mentioning but did not take away from our stay. We would stay again and have no difficulty in advising others to do the same.

- Salvija (9/5): Great hotel for great price and dog friendly - Lovely butique hotel for incredible price, friendly staff and really clean rooms (which cant say about majority hotels these days!). Quiet, even though you are in the town center, close to everything if you want to explore Grantham, really liked our short stay there and would book again, love that its dog friendly too. Water pressure was bit low, but wasnt a massive issue for us. Apart from that everything was really good.
- julie (6/5): - Great location. Nice clean room Only 1 teabag each! Cold when we got there and bathroom heating took over an hour to come on. Poor lighting if you are drying your hair.
- Alistair (9/5): Comfortable and perfect for our needs. Would recommend. - Location. Very cosy and very clean. Warm and comfortable. Nice design and touches - toiletries/biscuits etc. Excellent value for money.
Walking distance to everywhere in town.
All the cleaning staff were lovely. Not really any public space outside of the room. Sure the garden serves in the summer, but in the winter when we stayed, there is not really anywhere other than the reception area to be.
- Linda (7/5): Hot in the City - Close to the town centre, but quiet. Nice hosts. Clean and comfortable, good shower. A tad too warm, heating seemed to be on high all night and I couldn't turn it down, couldn't get the window open but managed to shift it up a few millimetres and shove a teaspoon under it to stop it dropping back down and let a bit of cool air in, and slept naked with no duvet over me. Still, better than being cold.
Smart TV had no Freeview.
- Sheila (5/5): -
- Jessica (9/5): Very nice, would stay again. - Lovely room, well presented with glamorous wall mirrors and rich, deep green decor. Clean and tidy, friendly staff. Noise from town centre was very mild which was a pleasant surprise. Nice hot shower with shampoo etc provided. Nice warm, puffy duvet and pillows. I missed that there was no parking unless you get lucky with street parking. We parked opposite Lidl which is free after 6pm & on Sundays.
It was also uncomfortably hot in our room shortly after we arrived, but was able to turn the radiator down and open the window.
- Joanna (10/5): - Lovley little house just off the town centre ,the rooms are good size ,lovley old feel to it.
When we arrived the owner was'nt here, he was here in few minutes, welcomed us in,showed us to our rooms (dean)
We looking forward to breakfast!
I come for my birthday ,me and my sister like it here that much we stay extra night !! Nothing!
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Kate (7/5): It was great. - It was a really fantastic location with beautiful rooms. The rooms could have been warmer on arrival and it was a little difficult to gain entrance initially.

- David (7/5): -
- Jordon (10/5): I really like my weekend away - The staff was very helpful I think the hotel needs to have hotel chocolate as well
- Chiranjeevi (8/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Amazing owner and communication - Very clean and tidy, simple room
But great value for money
Very friendly owner, amazing communication
- Joseph (8/5): Comfortable room, faultless hospitality. -
- Rob (10/5): Superb - Stayed here a few times now - brilliant place and I’ll only stay here when in Grantham Nothing
- Natasha (10/5): - Easy to find, central location
- Jane (3/5): Never again - It was in the centre There was no parking outside until late at night. We did get change of room, but was told there was two other rooms to choose from but on route to show us the room there's now only one room available which was in the attack.small double room with the eves in so you can only walk one side of the bed, the room was red hot which was fine at first but trying to sleep was a joke. I did manage to turn the radiator down eventually but in the morning it was clearly turned off so was freezing in there with it being in the loft, we had a shower not very powerfull but was warmer than being in the room. We booked for two nights but left that morning as we couldn't of gone another night in that room.there was a small swivel mirror on the desk which wasn't very useful considering you couldn't stand up straight due to the eves being there, one of the wall lights had no bulb the other had no cover on it and was positioned behind the TV
- Tully (10/5): -
- Wood (4/5): -
- Estelle (10/5): - The helpful young man who carried my suitcase and showed me the choice of 2 rooms. I will definitely book again, for family members as I'm moving back to grantham in 2 weeks and it's the second time I have stayed here. It is lovely
- James (8/5): -
- Jade (10/5): -
- John (9/5): My partner and I were up visiting our daughter in Grantham. Lovely room with a nice big bathroom only 2 minutes walk int - Great position, nice room and very comfortable.
- Katherine (9/5): -
- Edward (9/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Recommend !! - It’s so cosy and clean
- Simon (8/5): - Great Location, value for money
- SUSAN (10/5): - An ideal central location in the town centre, the staff were helpful and friendly and we were very comfortable in our room.
- Mark (8/5): Lovely building, comfy room, friendly staff - Lovely old building, friendly, helpful staff, central location Bit difficult to find from outside. Decaf coffee would be nice in the room.
- Rebecca (10/5): Comfortable, warm and pretty! - I come to Grantham regularly for work and have stayed at a few places and this is by far the nicest. Warm, comfortable and pretty rooms and lovely reception staff. I don’t stay long enough to get much more of an impression but I’d definitely stay again especially with such reasonable prices. It’s a little tricky to find from the parking and the front door could do with a clearer sign for first time visitors.
- Jade Florinda (10/5): -
- Sophie (10/5): Great for a weekend visit - Location was ideal, very close to all ameneties. Room was clean and comfortable.
- Susan (9/5): -
- Estelle (7/5): -
- Adrian (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable.
Very easy check inn
Ideal location for me
- Brian (9/5): - Good location staff very good very clean would stay there again next time in Grantham
- Rea (10/5): - Great location comftable. Really clean
- Paul (10/5): Clean and well presented room - Clean and classical look. Nothing
- Rob (10/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): Very nice hotel/guest house, very conveniently located - Very cosy and convenient. The number I was given to contact the owner didn’t work. There isn’t any parking .
- Susan (7/5): - The staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean with towels, toiletries etc. Location is great. Archway House is a lovely building with gorgeous features. Radiator covered by curtains so a bit draughty and heated towel rail wasn't. The shower spewed almost as much water out of the back as went over the person showering.
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Cooke (10/5): -
- MICHAEL (3/5): Could have been excellent.... Wasn't!@!@ - The actual room was clean and tidy. Location is good. Bathroom not so. You could not report issues as there was no management at the property. The room was like an oven and the radiator thermostat was broken. As such I had to sleep with the sash window wide open. This on a very busy road. But worse the smell from the drains in the bathroom was at the very best unpleasant. I resorted to putting towels in the sink and shower tray. to stop the smell. The next morning, still no management, i went to the owners other property the Angel and Royal, reported all this to the lady on reception and she said as the owner was away I will ensure the hotel manager here calls you this morning. Of course that didn't happen either. Might explain the reviews that hotel has. I did say i'd rather not leave a negative review. I also asked for a VAT invoice which has taken over a week to get and its not even an invoice but a statement.
- Anna (8/5): - Lovely room, shower room and wardrobe area. I have 2 cats and they were comfortable too
- Maria (8/5): - Nice place, lovely lady on reception, helped take luggage to the room. She was very professional and polite. Stairs are an issue for anyone with a mobility issue and no direct parking. There is parking down the road which is free from 6pm - 8am. Would definitely stay there again. Stairs if you have a mobility issue and lack of parking if it is something you need.
- Kevin (8/5): Lovely place conveniently located and very clean and comfortable. The downside was the constant banging from upstairs. - The room was clean and comfortable The child upstairs constantly banging on the floor - the radiator in the shower room did not work and there is a shade missing on one of the wall lights.
- Rafael (9/5): -
- Reece (10/5): Great value for money. Very welcoming. Been back and will again. - Easy access, great location, accomodating Nothing
- Alison (6/5): Okayish - Good location, character Bathroom was cold, unclean and smelled. We didn’t have a shower because it was so uninviting!
There was a big pile of rubbish bags just outside the room (outside ground floor access room).
- Patrick (10/5): Archway house - Had the family room quality room nicely put together accommodated 5 people essily. Bed wax so comfy Nothing
- Ian (7/5): - Location
- James (9/5): -
- Oliver (9/5): -
- Dee (9/5): Clean and comfortable for the price. - Was comfortable and handy to town.
Value for money 👍 Close to town
- Zoe (8/5): -
- Matthew (3/5): Expected a lot more for the average review score, heavily disappointed. - Location is in the centre of Grantham, although no parking directly, there is a pay and display car park nearby. The rooms had character. Poor cleaning, plenty of cob webs around, no mattress protector on the bed, a strange guy on check in who insisted on spending a lot more time with our female colleagues than our male colleagues in showing them around their rooms, my toilet seat was not attached to the toilet, and presented a real challenge in using it. The room smelt damp and mouldy, and this was not isolated to my room, but experienced by a number of other colleagues. This is more a B&B than a hotel, staff not on site 24/7.
- Richard (9/5): -
- Gillian (10/5): -
- Vidal (10/5): Although tho i stayed for 1 night the hotel was nice and relaxing would stay again. - Great location nice Relaxed Environment nice place.
- Gay (8/5): -
- Angela (7/5): - Super friendly helpful staff, very clean and good location. The double bed was a little short in length for my husband who is 6 ft
- sylvain (8/5): - le lieu est intéréssant
- Oliver (8/5): Cheap n chearful - Good location good shower Hairs in bed sheets carpet dirty
- Luke (10/5): Perfect place to stay in central Grantham! - Huge room, all the amenities you would need and the guy checking us in was great.
