Guest Reviews
- Marie (10/5): Awesome stay and lovely people - Very clean and tidy and very well equipped for travellers Nothing
- Laurie (9/5): Superb - Absolutely everything was great. Host was very accommodating while respecting our privacy. Very welcoming host with so many extras waiting in the fridge for us generously supplied. Very homely set up. Would highly recommend. There is nothing to dislike at this property.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - House was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Place was very clean, spacious for 2 adults and 2 children, had on street parking right outside and we felt very welcome. Had all the amenities you would need such as wifi, TV, central heating and more. We also appreciated all the little extras provided to us on our stay. Really was like a house from home.
- Begbie (9/5): Perfect little home from home - Had everything and then some
- Heidi (10/5): Lovely little place with a home from home feel. - Lovely home from home with everything you need including some breakfast bits which was a lovely added touch. Nothing.
- Susan (8/5): Good value, clean and good location for exploring north east 250 trail. - It was cosy, clean and well equipped.
We appreciated the provisions. As being given eggs, bacon and bread came in very handy as we hadn’t had time to shop.
On site parking. It was cold in the morning. Heating didn’t come on until 9am.
- Mary-anne (10/5): A night near Troup Head - A lovely warm welcoming space, very well equipped including Ninja grill/oven. Moira provided bread, eggs, milk and bacon which was very welcome as there is no shop nearby. Very comfy bed and good shower. Moira gave us good advice about local birdwatching. Everything about the property was excellent. The village is interesting historically but has no amenities.
- Beighton (8/5): Very good -
- Stuart (9/5): Wonderful welcome and a lovely home-from-home - Cosy home-from-home with a very warm welcome from the host who lived in the other half of the building. Large comfortable bedroom up narrow stairs. Great base to explore the area and not far from the sea.
- Thomas (10/5): Cosy home in beautiful countryside - Drostan House is a wonderful little home from home. The living room was super cosy, the bathroom very clean and spacious and there was even a sizeable garden with a seating area which, if the weather was nicer, we'd have loved to use! Nothing not to like about the place - it was fab! The only thing to bear in mind is that there's no local shop/cafe or pub, so stock up before arriving.
- Derek (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Very comfortable, hosts were brilliant - would stay again. -
- Tower (10/5): Truly a lovely stay. Highly recommended. - The house was so beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. One couldn’t ask for a kinder or more considerate host Not a thing.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
