• juan (5/5): Ville surprenante, belle région - Dans une rue sale, donnant sur une placette mal fréquentée la nuit très bruyante le chien qui gueule pour couronner le tout Pas de documentation sur la ville et la région disponible. Ce logement est prévu pour 2 personnes équipé du minimum pour faire le petit déjeuner ? une cafetière pour une demie tasse qui ne fonctionne pas et quand on fait la remarque on nous dit que c’est normal ! Je ne conseillerais pas ce logement à mes proches

• Guest (8/5): Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Naples ! - L emplacement : tres bien situé. Appartement vaste et confortable. On a apprécié la climatisation et le double vitrage La place pour ranger nos affaires. La propreté.. Grand lit confortable Petites attentions : bonbons, parapluie... Petit souci avec le petit éclairage dans le bloc cuisine qui restait allumé Il serait appréciable d avoir un micro onde et une bouilloire électrique. La cabine douche est un peu étroite. L ascenseur est très vétuste. Il est d ailleurs tombé en panne.

• Patrick (10/5): Great city great apartment - The highlight of our trip was when our host mauritso took us out on his sailboat to the islands at the gulf of Naples it was an amazing day would definitely do it again when we go back to Naples 100% recommend

• Reza (8/5): Very nice and comfortable - It’s was a good location and bad a balcony. The man was very nice and welcomming. It felt like a safe place and wasn’t in a scary neighborhood. We are both 2 girl from 18 years old and really felt save and comfortable.
• Theresa (9/5): I loved the balconies to sit in the evening and relax. Quiet at night eventhough close to busy roads - Maurizio met me at the apartment to help with my luggage (13 stairs before you reach the elevator) which I really appreciated and to give the keys. He also did send prior to getting there very detailed instructions with pictures on how to access the apartment. When I was leaving he even sent his son to help me with my luggage and call me a taxi to the airport. Very helpful for information when needed, always responded to my questions right away on Whatsapp. The apartment had everything you needed to be comfortable. I would have liked to be a little closer to the historic center (about a 18 minute walk), but still doable. But after walking from 10 am until 4-5 pm was not up for a longer walk to dinner. So I stayed near the apartment at night and not as good a selection of restaurants - but there are still many places to eat within a 10 minute walk. The walk to the port to catch the ferry to Capri, Positano and Amalfi was about 15 minutes walking and the meeting points for the tours I booked were close by. Regarless, it was a really good place to stay and do recommend because you are quite central.

• Mark (8/5): Loved Naples, the people, the food, the weather and prices were very reasonable. - Location was perfect, very easy to walk to all places we wanted to see. No complaints, apt had 2 balconies, was 2 minutes from cafes and shops, very close to the port, easy walk to main train station and quiet at night for sleeping.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the port if you're heading to the islands, and right in the heart of Naples. You can easily explore the whole city on foot, and it's only one metro stop from Napoli Centrale. A beautifully decorated apartment and an absolutely stunning terrace is a highlight! I stayed in Room 2 and loved every moment. I’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone I know who’s planning a trip to Naples!
• Patricia (9/5): Great apartment in central Naples ... - We loved the location. 1 min walk from Via Umberto - 10 mins walk from Napoli Centrale - everything on your doorstep really. Plus apartment is located in small square and has 2 balconies. one balcony overlooks the harbour and (giant!) cruise ships docked there. Lovely to sit out on the small balcony in the evening and watch Italian life below. Apartment is a great size for 1/2 people with small kitchen facility. Don't plan on cooking any major meals here but great for pulling together a breakfast/lunch. Good range of crockery/pans etc available but not much prep space! There's no toaster/oven/grill or Microwave. Just a 2 ring stovetop. Adequate for our needs. Place was spotless - decent size bathroom and shower and all looked fairly recently decorated. Lovely old traditional building but apartment itself modern. Great communication with Maurizio our host - really helpful. What's not to like really! We'd come back in heartbeat. It didn't bother us but the lift is ancient and small...and in spite of signs requesting people to close the lift doors behind them,, they frequently didn't which meant you couldn't use the lift at all and had to climb the 3 floors to the apartment - fine if you don't have cases/shopping bags etc but very annoying when you do! Only other thing really was it would be nice to have washing up cloths/drying cloth available. We had to go out and buy some to clean up after us.
• Susan (5/5): Passable - The location was perfect. Very close to cafes and shopping. When we arrived, he was very helpful on getting our car parked at a garage. As there is no parking on the street. Everything was done electronically. The heater did not work. The owner tried but didn’t get it working. Also when we arrived, the mattress was flipped over so we were sleeping on the slats. We had to flip it back over to sleep on the mattress. I couldn’t believe it. You also must go up at least 12 steps to get to the elevator so you must be able to do that as well. We had some heavy bags so it’s a little bit difficult.

• Greg (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, location, comfortable. Small cooking area , so keep your cooking to basic meals, but we knew that. A little bit nosiey at night. Could use black out drapes.
• Mary (10/5): Will consider returning. - We arrived on a late flight and Maurizio was most helpful in making sure we gained entry comfortably. Location is great. Public transport is very nearby and Maurizio is always available to assist with advice on tours. He will arrange whatever tour is required. Overall a great experience.

It was not quite what we expected from the photographs. It turns out that there are 3 rooms & most of the photos show facilities that were not available in the room allocated to us.

• Florian (8/5): Very good - We really enjoyed our stay in Sant Elmo (room nr. 2)! The room has two balconies, one overlooking a cute little piazza and another facing the street, so we spent some time sitting outside and having a coffee or a pizza. Because of the two balconies, the room is filled with light during the day but also has shutter blinds. The bathroom is newly renovated and there was even a hair dryer. The communication with Mauricio was smooth and easy, he kept us well-informed and responded promptly. The mattress is old and should be replaced. We felt the different springs and couldn't sleep well.

• Scott (10/5): great location, great room, great host. - the host maurizio was unbelievable. very helpful. we had a late check in and he stayed up to let us in remotely. and on our last day there was a bus and train strike, and we struggled to get an Uber, so he ordered a taxi to the airport for us. we communicated via WhatsApp. 11/10 the location was excellent. a small pizzeria round the corner and a little shop which stayed open past 12am, so perfect for our late arrival. the room was quite because it was away/behind the main road. the bed and pillow were very comfortable id stay here again. no problem.

Closest supermarket was about a 5 minute walk also. The host Maurizio made the stay amazing for us, he was SO helpful , any queries we had he answered pretty much straight away and was so attentive (even down to setting the air-con to the right temperature for us without us even needing to ask). We arrived slightly before the check in time so had to do a self check-in, Maurizio also made this so easy and straightforward. If we were to come back to Naples we would absolutely stay here again, thank you so much :)

• April (10/5): COMFY stay in a PERFECT & SAFE location in Naples, close to port! - Our host was very kind and helped us with our bags. We thought this location was perfect in Naples! It is so great to be close to the port and food and night life and overall felt very safe. The bathroom was great, very clean. We had a nice view and the bed was comfortable. We had everything we needed for the 3 nights we were there. Great introduction to Italy. The room would get pretty warm during the day because the key card controlled the electricity, so nothing would be left running when we weren't in the room.

The appartment was superb, It had recently been refurbished. Well located, just off main road about 400m to nearest underground. Close to old centre. Walked from Train station. Better travel directions before travelling from Uk. We had to tel host 30 mins before arrival. The tel no listed on booking.com didnt work.

Really nice studio, high ceilings, good kitchen area, great bathroom and all very clean. Nice to have the lift inside the building for luggage. Easy walk to the train station, metro and historic centre. Thanks for a great stay :) If you are a light sleeper, take earplugs, Naples is noisy even through the night!
