- Mary Rose Elbourne (4/5): We were in Perth for 5 days. Only used the house for showers and sleeping. House was always freezing as the heating was - The location No heating. It was there but taped with a note not to use it.
Not allowed to use garage control from the car. Very inconvenient.
Fridge was smelly although we didn’t use any of the kitchen facilities.
Hair and dust on toilet floors.
Not worth the money we paid.

Nice view to the pond across the road. The house was not at a clean standard which was disappointing considering the substantial cleaning fee included in the stay.
Bare minimum utensils/cooking supplies proved difficult.
Garden not kept, windows couldn't open.

- Vance (1/5): I would not recommend Waterfront home to any of my friends or family, 1 star review. - Location was good. Just to clarify a few things in relation to this property and the state of cleanliness, and the damage/maintenance issue for the roller door. Upon arrival at the property we were unable to contact the listed Australian numbers provided that were supposed to be contactable 24/7, we left messages that were never responded to. We finally found an overseas number (Beijing China) where we were able to contact Willie. Willie provided the door entry code to the Waterfront home.
First appearance, entrance weeds growing up through the paving, garden dead, cobwebs, dust and leaves everywhere this was the same for the outside seating area. Floors were clean, kitchen bench dirty with food trace, cupboards some have food splash from the oven, the oven internal space dirty with food trace. Cutlery, missing potato masher, no spatula for flipping eggs etc. Ceiling fans have quite the buildup of dirt on the fan blade edging, when the fans were turned on they shed dirt onto the bedding.
Bedrooms, one bedroom had stained sheeting with hair from previous tenants. All the pillows were terrible, so we purchased new for our stay.
Upon entering the garage we were overcome with the stench of decaying food that had been left by the previous tenants in the already full garbage bin. We pressed the button to open the garage and the door rolled up very noisily and jerky, upon trying to close the door it would not close. Closer inspection revealed that the roller door guide frame had pulled free from the brick wall on the left side wall when facing the door from the outside.
Calls were made to the listed numbers Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday to report the garage door fault, as a last resort I contacted the Beijing (China) number again, Willie picked up I reported the garage door fault and he immediately blamed me for damaging the door which I strenuously denied, he further stated that he would have someone attend and assess the garage door. There is more but not enough room to submit.

- Jacq (6/5): Once it was clean, it was a pleasant and welcome place to stay in, we worked around other issues - It was easy to access the property with the access code.
No keys were needed.
But there was confusion regarding how to lock doors on the property and the pictures left by the owner could better be in a booklet left on the kitchen counter This property is very good, spacious and location is great.
what went wrong was that the property wasn't properly cleaned, and it was clear it wasn't cleaned in a long time.
But what was horrific was the spider infestation that was clearly never taken care of with regular cleaning and fumigating.
there was spiders everywhere and when we turned on the airconditioning, big hairy spiders came out of the viaducts.
Needless to say, my kids had nightmare!
it took several days to get the owner to respond and have the place cleaned, even the cleaner was shocked at what i showed him. but it was better once cleaning was done.
also small things was clear the owner has not been there for some time, like the bateries in the remote controls all need to be changed, and the washing basket needs to be replaced.
but its really bad that the aircon system is "out of order" on all the stations, except for one of them, and it didn't turn on for an half hour after i turned it on at the station.

- Pamela (6/5): I would not recommend this place for winter unless the internal heating is repaired - Location The internal heating was broken and taped off and could not be used. A couple of tiny oil fin heaters were provided but made absolutely no difference to the temperature of the home. I had to go buy extra blankets to stay warm. The garage door opener was hard to operate due to maybe a battery. The host was rather insulted when I questioned all the above.
- Graham (10/5): Excellent accomodations - The size of the rooms was amazing and the gym and games room a bonus. Beds were comfortable and the air con worked well. The house was well positioned, clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and the small lake provided a wonderful outlook. A full kitchen with dishwasher and laundry with clothes dryer ensured we had everything we needed at the house. There was even washing liquid for the machine! The only thing we could fault was Not enough utensils in Kitchen

Close to shops and foreshore.
Carpark facilities were good.
Quite neighbourhood Advertised as a fully equipped kitchen, this was bitterly disappointing, there was only 4 badly wore pots and pan, not fit to cook with. Minimum cooking utensils, no serving bowls or microwave safe containers. Broken chopping board, no tea towels. We booked the house because we wanted to self cater. It was also advertised that the property has a BBQ, and there was no BBQ.
On our arrival, we found that the cleaners had missed items of dirty clothing under beds. We were also very disturbed to find kitchen knifes from the knife block under two of the beds.
No hand towels, no bin liners.
The lounge is too low to the ground, difficulty to get up from we needed to roll off to our knees to get up from the lounge.
Beds are uncomfortable, squeaky, and no extra pillows or blankets.
Air conditioning, very noisy, minimal heating for rooms, glad it wasn't winter.
Outdoor areas need to be weeded and cleaned lots of cobwebs and dirt.
Smoke detector upstairs battery removed.

- Rachel (6/5): Pleasant - The house worked well for our family of 7. The location was quiet and convenient and the upstairs bedrooms were spacious. One of the neighbours was lovely. Areas for improvement: The kitchen tap was broken and the property manager did not respond. The kitchen was poorly equipped for a 4 bedroom house and we had to purchase many basic supplies (paper towel, tea towels, gladwrap/foil/baking paper, ground coffee for the coffee machine, pegs for the clothesline, tissues etc). Several doors leading outside were locked with no keys, one of the smoke alarms upstairs was not fitted with a battery, and there were numerous cobwebs and spiders inside.
