Lourdes (5/5): Passable - The owner was really helpful and nice on the phone. Very quick to respond too. A bit too expensive for what you get. Our apartment didn't have microwave, hairdryer, radiators to warm the bedrooms up or even spare blankets. We felt it wasn't well prepared for the winter).
Fabien (8/5): Nice stay in a typical village - Good location, typical village with bars and restaurants, very nice to stay there. The house is big and comfortable, hosts speak a good English and are pleasant, they live in a different place. /
Willem (1/5): Most dreadful apartment I ever booked - The location, close to Tabernas. The host was friendly. She arrived promptly at the indicated time. On the basis of the information on Booking we thought we would get the entire villa, but it happened to be split in 3 apartments. We were given apartment number 2 which did not have airconditioning, contrary to the information on Booking. You cannot mention ‘airconditioning’ under the Facilities twice and then hide in the description that only ‘some’ have airconditioning, not specifying which one you will get. The facilities information promised us a common terrace, but that was not common but only connected to another apartment. There were fans but they were insufficient to cool enough for sleep. We had to bring our own fans in. And we still got maximum of 5 ours sleep that night, due to the warmth of the room, the warmth of the bed (heating up through the day) and noice from the neighbors in the apartment next door. Their terrace overlooks one of our rooms, which gives you less privacy. Because of the heat we needed to keep our windows open. We asked the neighbors to speak less loudly on the balcony as we wanted to sleep at 11PM. After asking twice they finally obliged. Disappointment 2: the bathroom was not clean. Disappointment 3: the beds were not comfortable: if one person moved on the bed, the other would wake up. And the bed spirals poked in your back. Disappointment 4: there is no kitchen in the apartment, while a kitchen was visible on the photo’s. We had to make do with a microwave. Disappointment 5: the kitchen/ living room is too small: only one twoseater couch. And that for an apartment that is meant for 4 people! No table to sit and eat. Disappointment 6: no wifi: I assumed that there would be wifi and did no check the information on Booking. Disappointment 7: there is no tv Disappointment 8: outside noice: there is regular traffic through the road in front of the villa, hitting a loose drainage lid regularly, which waked us up. There was also noice from the neighbors arguing outside. Disappointment 9: the electricity is out regularly
