• Torsten (10/5): Charmantes Ferienhaus in kleiner Altstadtgasse bei herzlichen Gastgebern - Diese Unterkunft ist eine echte Perle in der Altstadt von Rethymno. Die Lage ist perfekt in einer kleinen Gasse in der Altstadt, sowohl der Strand als auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Cafés sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und es sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Der Empfang der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich, sowohl zur Begrüßung als auch zwischendurch wurden wir mit netten Aufmerksamkeiten überrascht. Einige der Restauranttipps und Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und schöne Strände haben wir ausprobiert und waren jedes mal begeistert. Hervorzuheben ist die einzigartige Gastfreundschaft von Anestis und Eleni, die uns mit ihrer herzlichen Art einen außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalt bereitet haben. Als meine Frau am vorletzten Tag einen Unfall hatte und sehr schlecht laufen konnte, haben sie sogar Krücken vorbei gebracht, einen Rollstuhlservice am Flughafen für den Rückflug organisiert und uns bei der Abreise mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Das war für uns eine riesige Erleichterung und keinesfalls selbstverständlich - vielen lieben Dank nochmals dafür! nichts

• Erez (10/5): - Beautiful apartment, large and pleasant, very clean, and great location. The owners are kind and friendly. We stayed 3 nights with 3 kids, and it was very comfortable with a lot of space for all of us. Very recommended ! Nothing, everything was excellent.
• Dave (10/5): Great welcome from the owners Anestis and Eleanor and throughout, nothing was too much trouble. They recommended lots of - It was very modern and exceptionally clean, everything felt like new. Really high quality fixtures and fittings, bedding and towels. Great location in town and not too far from the beach. Great to have the air con and the double glazing to keep out noise at night. Nice touch to have bedding and towels changed every few days, we didnt expect that. The only slight downside was the steep stairs to the roof terrace but fine for able bodied people.
• Anaïs (10/5): Séjour inoubliable ! - Absolument tout ! L’appartement est tout simplement parfait. Une décoration magnifique. Appartement sur 3 niveaux très bien conçu. Des équipements complets. Un grand merci à notre hôte, nous n’avions jamais eu à faire à un accueil si chaleureux. De la nourriture à notre arrivée avait été prévue (fruits, raki, boissons etc). Un hôte très serviable tout au long du séjour. Jusqu’au moment du départ avec des spécialités locales pour nous remercier. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement ! Tout était parfait

• antonios (10/5): Excellent by all means - I liked everything. The location was the one I love to stay in the middle of the old town. No car access but the house was in a walking street full of life, stores, coffee shops, restaurants. Everything in walking distance! I've staid many times in such kind of places but some times it comes with a cost... the noise. In this case since the window frames where of excellent quality, once you close them there was no noise at all! The hosts are very professional, kind, smiling, assistive and wiling to explain and offer their hospitality. The house itself is a brand newly innovated small maisonette with excellent aura! All appliances are of excellent quality and the decoartion is chosen very wisely and smart. The colors, the smell, the cleaniness all combined an excellent condition. On the roof there is a very chic small terrace fully equipped with sun beds, breakfast tables, sun umbrella etc. It was a pitty we didn't have enough time to spend on the terrace but on the other hand Rethymno is so nice and the house location so convenient that you prefer hangin aroung the old town ! That the time passed and we had to go!
• Rachel (10/5): Absolutely Amazing - The hosts were exceptionally gracious and the home was incredibly clean. It was in the perfect location and parking was in a very accessible area. We cannot wait to return. Nothing. It was incredible.
• Hilary (10/5): Perfect in every way. - This house is in the centre of the old town. It has been beautifully modernised but still retains the warmth of a much loved family home. We would sit on the balcony over looking the shops below and watch the world go by. There was a welcome pack with delicious local products for us to enjoy. Our hosts Eleni and Anestis were very kind and did everything to make our stay delightful. For those arriving by car I would recommend that they park at the old harbour and then call Anestis. Anestis met us at the car park and helped us get our luggage to the house, and gave us a pass to park there. When we were due to go he arrived and helped us to back to the car park. Rethymno is a fascinating town, not too big, with lots of shops and restaurants and attractive architecture.
• Claire (10/5): Amazing Gem of a place to stay- don't look anywhere else, just book here! - Everything was perfect! This place is amazing- beautifully and lovingly refurbished to a very high standard with everything having been thought of. Great communication to meet the hosts, Anestis &Eleni who were so warm and kind. They helped us with luggage, helped us park our car, organised a taxi, left us an amazing welcome basket of food and drink and recommendations on restaurants and beaches. This place is a gem of a place to stay, exceptionally appointed and on a quiet side street which is close to everything. Will certainly be returning! Thank you.

• Laurie (10/5): Heaven in Rethymnos! - We loved Anchel Maison! The location in the old town was perfect, off a quiet wee lane; the house was beautifully decorated; rooms were so comfortable and had every comfort of a 5+ star luxury hotel; the rooftop terrace and dining area was beyond all expectations; but the very best of Anchel Maison came from Eleni and Anestis, our hosts. They were the most generous and kindest of hosts! They went above and beyond what anyone could expect- helping us with luggage, leaving wonderful provisions, bringing us delightful pastries and offering wonderful suggestions. Eleni and Anestis were always contactable if we needed them and answered any questions we had about Rethymnos. I’d love to go back and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but at Eleni and Anestis beautiful house: Anchel Maison! I hated leaving! I wanted to spend every evening with a cold drink watching the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop terrace!
• Miranda (10/5): Family friendly, clean and centrally located - This is was the absolute best home we’ve ever stayed in, and we are extensive travelers. It was brand new, fully stocked, quiet, clean, soundproof and the air conditioning was powerful. The location was excellent! We would stay here in a heartbeat! It was perfect! No complaints.
• Anthony (10/5): A little jem - In the center of everything, all within walking distance. Great tavernas, bars & shops. Roof terrace on the house was a brilliant bonus. Lack of easy car parking wasn't ideal, but this is Rethymno, a beautiful city never designed for cars.

Everything is beautifully designed and thought out. Everything works. Owners are welcoming and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen, well designed bathrooms, good AC and wifi. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Nothing!

• Thomas (10/5): We had a wonderful stay and the house exceeded our expectations. We will be back next year. - I had wonderful stay. The location is perfect in the centre of the town! Amazing rooftop terrace for sunbathing during the day and relaxing in the evenings. The house is new and beautifully decorated. Both bedrooms are ensuite which is handy if there is a few of you. We also made good use of the fully functional kitchen with new appliances and very clean. Thank you for your hospitality to our hosts Anestis and Eleni! We will be back.
