- Kara (7/5): Enjoyed our stay in this lovely warm home but all mattresses on beds need review by owners. - The home was exactly as described, lovely and spacious for a family with excellent heating throughout. Great kitchen well stocked with enough crockery, utensils etc. with inclusion of a sandwich toaster and slow cooker as well as the beautiful stove and a microwave was appreciated. Lounges very comfortable, shower very good and linen provided was generous and excellent quality. The beds were not comfortable at all. We stayed as a family of 3 adults and 2 children. Except for the bunk beds, all other rooms have same size bed. After attempting to share a bed the first night, my husband and I slept in separate beds for following nights as none of the beds were comfortable enough for 2 adults together. Our adult child and the older grandchild also complained about how uncomfortable their beds were, our grandchild being on the bunk bed. This was very disappointing.

- Richie (10/5): Beautiful accomodation, neat clean, gardens beautiful facilities perfect. Will definitely stay again - I didn’t get the text however they were so quick to respond. Check in earlier would have been good as we checked in at 2pm and needed to b at a wedding at avalon castle at 2.30. Couldn’t be helped but a little more flexibility would’ve helped make life easier. My 90 year old father was rushed but we made it work. Next time we will stay longer to make use of the scenery the outdoors was so beautiful. Will bring the kids next time too as the kids room was fully equipped.
