• John (10/5): A great choice right in the heart of LIxouri - Everything was perfect. Clean, spacious room and bathroom, excellent decoration and comfortable beds. The hotel was right in the heart of Lixouri, in front of the main square We could not get close to the hotel with the car to unload our suitcases, plus there was no elevator to take our stuff to the room more easily

• Tiia (8/5): Hyvä sijainti - Sijainti oli keskeinen ja huoneisto oli uusi ja siisti Olimme häämatkalla ja vastaanotossa nainen kertoi, että meille on tulossa yllätys sen johdosta. Mitään ei kuitenkaan ikinä tullut ja se oli pettymys. Sen sijaan hanamme wc:ssä alkoi vuotamaan voimakkaasti lattialle ja jouduimme kutsumaan korjaajan. Tätä ei edes sen kummemmin pahoiteltu. Aamupala olisi ollut hyvä lisä ottaen huomioon hinta.

• Andrew (8/5): - The location, overlooking the town square, near the water and amongst all the shops and restaurants can't be beaten. The views from the huge outdoor area are great. Not having a lift with heavy luggage when on the top floor was a bit of a pain, especially with quite narrow stairs. Also, not seeing any on-site staff was not expected. However, we were able to extend our stay (twice) due to changes in plans and were accommodated, without having to change rooms, which was greatly appreciated.

• Celine (10/5): Sehr schön und unkompliziert - Schöne Suite mit Meeblick, perfekte Lage, alles war sehr unkompliziert. Die Gastgeber habe ich nie persönlich kennengelernt, ich konnte jedoch immer jemanden erreichen wenn ich etwas wissen wollte. Auf dem kleinen Tisch am Balkon war noch Asche von Zigaretten (für mich als Nichtraucherin war das nicht so schön)

• Alice (7/5): It was lovely but I would stay somewhere else next time. - The location is excellent for all the cafés, bars and restaurants, right on the harbour, in the middle of the square The bed was very big and comfortable, the terrace/balcony was spacious and had a great view, the lighting and decor was stylish, the wardrobe was very roomy, the living area was also quite spacious. There was a hot plate and nespresso machine, in the cabinet were cups and wine glasses, cutlery and plates. Although the kitchen part was small, this is fine because you are in a great location to get food and drinks, it is more like a hotel room than a "home" where you would cook. There are toiletries in the bathroom and lots of towels provided. The shower is nice. Good air conditioning in both living and bedrooms, TV also in both rooms. Nice curtains and a big balcony door. Within 2 hours of us checking out I had a message asking if I had "mistakenly" took one of the bathrobes. They are absolutely huge and bulky and not something you would pack in your suitcase by accident. The bathrobes were left very obviously in the room. Then ensued a back and forth about how they couldn't find the bathrobe and they had to pay for it, but they were only asking me a simple question and that I was putting words in their mouth. Could pick a fight with their own fingernails. I felt accused, it was not professional as I left some mini perfumes behind and a bottle of wine in the fridge to say thank you for our stay, and we spent €1000 for 6 nights. The cleaners are not so organised, they are nice ladies but as another review stated, there was a layer of grime on the bathroom sink, the cutlery and pans tasted of salt, the floors were not mopped daily in the room or the bathroom, and clearly they can't separate towels from bathrobes and seem to lose items which results in the guests being questioned about it. There is nowhere to leave your toothbrush, and the utensils in the kitchen seemed a bit random, no dish cloths provided. Overall the room was nice and comfortable, and the location excellent, the cleaning didn't detract from us enjoying our holiday, but I would stay somewhere else if I return to lixouri to avoid the headache I got after check out.

• Jane (10/5): A modern, very comfortable, well designed property in a super location ! - We loved the style, the decor, the convenience of location, the very comfortable bed , the cleanliness, and not forgetting the large and well furnished balcony providing wonderful views of the square, the sea and the mountains. Very quiet perhaps due to being early in the season which suited us very well. The property manager Marika was so friendly and very helpful in helping with our luggage, quickly resolving any minor issues and answering any questions we had. Well recommended ! Although there is no elevator help with your luggage is available especially if you have heavy luggage.
• James (9/5): Beautiful apartment. Highly recommended. - Beautiful apartment in the centre of Lixouri. Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic view from the balcony. Easy check in. Responsive host. Nespresso machine provided. The apartment comes with a cooking hob, which was great - but there were was nothing to prepare food in. I would have liked a small pan to warm milk for my morning coffee. Only 2 Nespresso pods provided for 2 people for 2 days.
• Terence (9/5): Excellent accomodation in the heart of Lixouri - Superb location in the heart of the square.. Fabulous top floor balcony with comfy furniture. Standout was the super comfy bed, with quality bedding. Everything high end and beautifully finished. Cleaner needs to pay a little more attention to detail. Bathroom sink area not particularly clean, bedroom mirror mucky, had been wiped with a dirty cloth. A pan for the hot plate would have been useful. None of this detracted from a wonderful stay and we would stay again.

• Jane (9/5): Stylish and comfortable apartment in a central location - A modern apartment with stylish decor and a very comfortable bed. Kitchenette is adequate for breakfast and snacks. Lovely large terrace with a great view over the main square and harbour. Steep stairway and no lift could be a problem for some. The central square would be noisy in peak season. A table and chairs would be a good addition on the terrace.

• Joanne (9/5): Great central apartment in Lixouri, has everything you need - The apartment was immaculate, really clean and had everything we needed, based in central Lixouri looking over the main square with tavernas, restaurants and shops nearby. Bed was very comfy. The outside area was lovely with very comfy seats and great views. Nice touch leaving a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge, thank you. There were only 3 pods left for the coffee machine which was a bit disappointing when you’re paying €160 a night. We arrived just before 4pm but there was no-one at reception. The lady I spoke to said she had to leave. We did have an issue with key not working and key card didn’t work at first but we managed to contact owner and tried key card again and it worked. There wasn’t a mini bar or ironing facilities as mentioned but this wasn’t an issue for us. I was expecting to pay when we arrived, with the reception not being manned, I arranged to pay via bank transfer. I did send copy of receipt via booking.com message but I still haven’t received confirmation to say payment was received.

The location was fantastic since everything is nearby, it’s on a beach and near a port where you can go to Argostoli just for 6€. The rooms were very much clean and it was definitely worth the money. Nothing that we didn’t like.
