• Michael (5/5): Great hosts but poor facilities poor maintenance - The location and the swimming pool The ants!!!! Should do extensive extermination. The AC doesn't work well enough- degrees are automatically controlled which is very annoying and there is a timer which is double annoying. Water flow in the bathroom is too weak on the en suite- need to change tap WiFi was not working half the time Handles on the cupboard broken Toilet facilities broken
• Wim (9/5): Na lastig toegang krijgen (zie hierboven) alles OK! - Locatie was prima, en ook het zwembad aan het huis was geweldig. De eerder doorgestuurde code voor het sleutelkastje klopte niet, en pas na een paar keer bellen kregen we de juiste code door, terwijl we in de hitte stonden aan de voordeur.

• Claire (10/5): Brilliant holiday with family in a great location & recommend booking this villa - Great location, close to the beach (Coralia is beautiful!), local amenities, bars & restaurants Kitchen utensils require replacing as lots of wear & tear from previous guests. We had issues at the beginning of our stay that was quickly resolved by Astero
• Daniel (5/5): Lovely host . But the pool man ruined our experience at this villa - The villa was cosy the ground floor perfect it had everything we needed . The WiFi was excellent. The up stairs very out dated its needs a refurbish , new showers , baths and wardrobes in bedrooms. Also we had isue with the swimming pool . We was told the pool bloke was ment to be coming twice a weeks but for the first 8 days he did not come . Wen we contacted the host regarding this she phoned the pool man . And he said he's already been out . Witch was a lie as the pool was very green and dirty 2 of my daughters got very ill with bad ear infections . So on the 9th day the pool bloke came out only stayed 10 minutes witch 5 of them minute s he spend talking to me . So I ask wen would you be next out he said on Monday. Monday came he had not been out as the pool was still dirty . The host phoned the pool man and once again he claimed he had spoken to me on the Monday wen he came out . So I spoke to him explaining you didn't speak to me yesterday . He started getting very aggressive over the phone and calling me a big man saying that he will see how big I am wen he next meets me . Now this was very unprofessional as I am the guest just stating th isues we were haveing and to why my girls were very ill with ear infection to were blood was comeing out so as a parent you are not going to be very happy as it cost us 78euros in total to buy 2 lots of medication. So it was very up profession on the cleaning of the pool . But once the pool bloke was caught out he then did keep comeing out every 3 days but he would just walk on to the property with out saying hello and totally ignore us witch we felt very awkward over this matter . Anyway it came to the last 2 days of our holiday and the pool bloke came out at 11 am as we were leaving to go to paphos . Wen we came back 3 of my chrildren floats rubber rings have been slit buy a sharp object so we realy was not in pressed .
• Pauline (8/5): Our stay was brilliant. Good location for surrounding area beaches and shopping. - The location was brilliant. Good facilities around the area. The local supermarket Phillipos was excellent! Everything we needed and more, good pricing, fresh meat and fish available daily, freezer section also very good, and they give you a free lift back with your shopping and are very friendly. The outside space in the villa is amazing and the pool is really good especially at night when the light inside the pool comes on. Outside lighting is good. BBQ was really nice to cook very easy to use. The lounge/dining area is massive the large sofa was very comfy. Good shower very powerful. The 'Strip' is an easy walk to the restaurants with lots of variety. The TV was very basic. It would be nice to have a Smart TV with apps to watch Netflix etc at night when relaxing inside as most villas have this facility so was surprised Villa Gavalas did not. Bits and pieces of the villa need a good clean as there were lots of cobwebs on outside furniture. The cooking pots and pans could do with updating especially if you are cooking at home during the day. It would also be nice if the BBQ was cleaned ready for the next guests and the oven needs cleaning as when used it smoked due to the grease but it was an excellent oven. The bedding needs improving. It would be really nice to have a Welcome Pack with all the information about the villa, surrounding areas, beaches, taxi service, restaurants, supermarkets and how to work some of the facilities inside the villa. Bathroom could do with some updating but the shower was excellent. Lastly it would be nice to have some chairs and a small table for the balconies as its nice to sit outside first thing in the morning on the balcony after getting out of bed. Other than this the Villa is good value for money and we really enjoyed out stay and would go again.
• Debbie (9/5): A lovely villa in a great spot - The villa was lovely, in a quiet cul-de-sac. The pool was very clean and needed only a very quick skim with the net a couple of times a day. We BBQ’d most nights, the local Supermarket Phillipos has everything you could need. Lemons fresh off the tree were a treat. The local beach and bars were fab. The villa was generally lacking in essentials, loo roll, hand wash, bags in toilet bins etc. A quick trip to the shop fixed everything.

• Black (8/5): Enjoyable but could have been sharper in cleaniing and decoration - Not applicable a Villa The villa was fine but a little tired in places. All bedrooms and lounge had new furniture . Settee comfortable and beds and bedding clean and comfortable. The ensuite shower room was very small and the shower tired. The kitchen units new but lacking . Pots and pans needed upgrading but couldn't fault the new dishwasher oven and fridge freezer. The BBQ grills were left outside and could not be used without significant cleaning so we bought disposal bbqs

• Samantha (9/5): We had an excellent stay at Villa Gavalas and loved the house and pool. - This property was excellent for our needs. The swimming pool was wonderful. Plenty of linen and towels, fully equipped kitchen including extras like cling wrap, tin foil, bin bags etc. 3 great bedrooms with terrific air con units. The 7th rollaway bed was good too, fitted in the middle of the twin beds. Property was close to the beach and some shops & restaurants. The major supermarket, Phillipos will drop you home with your shopping free of charge. We did end up hiring a car as we wanted to go into Paphos and surrounds. Minor issue with plugs on lamps - need to be changed as nowhere to plug into with 2-pin plugs! Pillows a bit hard.
