Benedikt (10/5): Geräumiges und praktisches Appartment mit Terrasse zum Garten. - Schönes kleines Apartment mit kleiner Küche und guter Küchrnausstattung plus nette Terrasse zum Garten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich. Da ich wegen zu starkem Wind nicht mit dem Schiff anreisen konnte hat Sie netterweise angeboten die Nacht kostenlos zu stornieren. Sehr nett, da eigentlich Stornierungen ausgeschlossen waren!!! Nix!

Michael (8/5): Schöner kleiner Ort am Meer mit großer Anzahl an Tourismus - Die Größe des Zimmers, die Blumendeko auf dem Bett, der Tisch und Stühle im schattigen Hof, etc. Die Matratze war alt und irgendein Tier, vielleicht eine Bettwanze hat mich gestochen, 20 Stiche nebeneinander, hat zum Glück nicht weh getan

The room had a nice spacy terrace. My reservation was cancelled w/o a message by the hotel just days prior to arrival (I fortunately was able to rebook). The sponge in the kitchen was quite old.
Magnus (8/5): Prima für ein paar ruhige Wander- und Strandtage in Sougia - Das kleine Appartement mit seiner schattigen Terrasse war sehr ruhig, mit allem nötigen Küchengerät ausgestattet und liegt 150 m vom Strand entfernt. Der roomservice war freundlich und arbeitete gründlich. Mehrere gute Restaurants sind nahebei. Eigentlich nichts.

Diesmal hatten wir ein Zimmer über dem fantastischen Restaurant Anchorage (Empfehlung!) und auch das Zimmer mit Balkon sehr genossen. Irene und Costa sind wahre Schätze, immer freundlich, herzlich und entgegenkommend.

Freddie (9/5): Perfect location in beautiful Sougia - Perfekt rum för en lugn weekend i Sougia. Lagom stort, med en bra uteplats. Bra tryck i duschen och fräscht badrum. Supermarket och ett litet bageri tvärs över gatan, lätt att köpa frukost och ta med tlll uteplatsen. Bra ställning samt klädnypor för blöta badkläder. Väldigt nära till stranden, bara att trilla ner och njuta!

The location was superb - 30 seconds away from the beach, and to other amenities and restaurants. It's super good value for money too, and would recommend if you're staying in Sougia! My room was on the ground floor facing the road, which meant I could hear some passerby sounds once in a while, but really nothing bad - it's a small little town so it doesn't get rowdy at all

Alexander (10/5): It was unforgettable. Thank you, Costas. - Sougia is a kind of world's end. We looked for immaculate nature and great hikes, but also found top notch service and excellent food. Costas, the host, keeps the apartment and restaurant at the highest level of cleanlyness and quality. The beauty of nature and sea around cannot be described. The nearest outlet cafe works 20 hours in a day, which is very convenient.
Andrewdebbie (8/5): Very good basic hotel - Good basic hotel in the centre of town. Everything worked well. Irene was friendly and efficient. Sougia is an unexpected gem. It's beautiful. The restaurants we went to were excellent. It is a great base for Samaria Gorge and other hikes. Meletis taxis were on time, helpful and drove the mountain roads safely. It was a bit noisy on our first night.

And they don't kick you out of bed either -- if you wake up later, they come later! Room is as described and comes with all the amenities needed.

The beach is a couple of minutes away, there’s a supermarket just over the road, and lots of lovely restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Lynn (10/5): Location, Location Location - This was our third stay at Pension Irene, so a good recommendation in its self. Our room had a side sea view, was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed,including enough crockery and pans should you wish to make simple meals. We loved the floral towel designs on the bed. The family are always friendly and welcoming. their restaurant across the way serves the most delicious food. Sougia is a laid back location, a good base for walking the Samaria Gorge. We look forward to returning in the near future. Nothing.

The room nicely appointed although small many shelves for storing stuff and several sockets for charging, reading lights an extra plus. Location in the very center of sougia but there was no noise from the surroundings. I especially liked the shady little corner in the patio, perfect for having a coffee or breakfast. The ground floor rooms on the back side looked lovely, with overhanging grape vines shading their patios. Overall lovely.

Emily (9/5): If I come back to Sougia, would definitely stay here again! - The location was beautiful was great and the service was wonderful. I loved the privacy of the decks, and the room was cleaned everyday! The owners were very helpful and kind, highly recommend! The only issue was with the shower, it is not sealed properly, so it ends up getting water all over the floor.
Sanela (10/5): Exceptional - Just a great place to enjoy this wonderful and calm place! The owner are just so lovely and you just feel the warm welcome just when you arrive!! The food is just wow!!! We loved every thing!!!

Gregory (10/5): Nice room , and will definitely stay again - It was in he centre of the village, just meters from the beach, mini market , restaurants, & a nice bakery that opens up a 5am
Michael (7/5): Nice for a short stay - A nice little pensione in the center of beautiful Sougia, opposite the Anchorage restaurant/tavern (well worth a visit, with good food and drinks). The kitchenette was missing its pots, pans and cooking implements initially, but the cleaning lady graciously found some as soon as asked. Noise also travels easily between rooms, and from the corridor and garden - not a problem for a short visit, but something to be aware of for light sleepers.
Fabien (9/5): Superb - Sougia is an amazing place and the ferry boat can take you to various interesting locations. The pension is easy to find and the room comfortable. Parking is available for free further down on the right. Noise from the fridge, so just had to turn it off overnight.
