• Jeanett K. (8/5): Great room, not the best location. - The room is great, newly renovated/refurbished. As a solo female I didn't love the secluded little street at night. The view is great from just down the street, but walking here from town is challenging. (I had a backpack, wouldn't recommend walking with a suitcase.) (I struggled a little with finding taxies when I wanted them, but the one time I did take a taxi it was very affordable.)
• Katrina (10/5): Quiet getaway - The property was located at a very scenic point where you could see the whole city and it was quiet and relaxing. Very organized and clean. Close to local markets and if you take a local bus you can get to beautiful beaches.

• Katie (7/5): Good - the room was clean and facilities were good, matched description on website. Host was responsive on messages and helped organise a taxi. The location is quite far from the main town, a 25-30 minute uphill to get back from town. Pictures of where to go will help to find the property as it is a bit challenging to find. Only contact in person with the host was when I didn’t respond to messages as I was without my phone for a day and was quite abrupt. It would have been lovely to meet her in person when you show up and to get some recommendations on what to do, especially as a solo traveller.

• Emelda (9/5): Great experience. - Very clean. Tiny place but so perfect for one person. Felt like a local. The neighbours were all very lovely and the host was very helpful. Not too many cooking facilities but you can definitely make do with what there is. The location is a bit isolated. In saying that, you get a beautiful view of the city just around the corner of the place. You also feel like a local.

• Molly (9/5): Enjoyable - It was very nice and felt homely. Had a beautiful view and isn’t too far from the town. It’s up a hill away from the hustle and bustle, you get to feel like a local. Very clean and pretty much everything you could need. The location on the maps is wrong so it took a little bit to find, also it’s pretty low as it’s on the ground floor so I would hit my head when steeping through the door. Nobody came during my stay so I can’t comment on staff, but everything was very clean when I arrived. I only stayed a few days so it wasn’t an issue. There’s no cooking facilities which is fine but if you don’t want to eat out all the time this is not the place for you.
• Μα (5/5): Nice room but the host was a bad communicator - Nice, clean renovated room. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels were fresh. The air condition was brand new and basic kitchen utensils and toilet paper were available. I loved the color scheme of the room too. Ideal for solo travelers! The host didn't contact me in time to let me know how to get in and didn't reply my message on time (I sent a message the night before my arrival and was calling her around check in time on arrival) . She didn't provide me with any info on how to get there or where to find the key, other than what was written on the website. Even though I did not smoke in the room (it was clearly stated that it was not allowed on the website), I did use the trash to throw away the cigarette stubs. The owner called me furious after I had left and was very rude to me. I had to convince her I had not smoked in the room and apologize for something that I didn't do, which completely ruined it for me. I think it's only logical not to throw the stubs on the street and use the trash inside the house since no ashtray was provided outside, isn't it?

• Laura (9/5): Cosy little room - The room was small but lovely and very clean, the landlady very kind and helpful. I particularly liked the surroundings, in a picturesque part of the town. Not very easy to reach, quite labyrinthic actually, but google maps helps a lot. Ideal for one person, too small for two.
• George (10/5): Good value for money - Highly responsive and helpful property manager. Very clean and apparently renovated unit. The location is a few minutes walk from Ermoupoli, but it is a nice walk with a beautiful view and halfway to Ano Syros. Overall, very happy to have found this property and based on the current market, good value for money! I liked everything. One area of improvement would be to add a feature to hang or store clothes.
