Guest Reviews
- Ben (8/5): A very cosy cabin with hot tub - It's hidden away a bit, but the instructions for finding it were easy to follow. It's a lovely log cabin with everything you could need - including a hot tub! Very comfortable bed. Also had a wood burning stove, so I can imagine it would be a lovely place for a quiet winter retreat. I was on a Kennet-Avon canal walk, so helpful to be able to wash clothes as well The hot tub has a heavy cover, so one person can't use, but I suppose that's not the point! :-)
- Chris (10/5): Perfect for a relaxing, peaceful stay. - Comfortable, with everything in it we needed, plus a hot tub!
Roger went out of his was to make sure everything was ideal for us.
Beautiful location
- Rhys (10/5): A great stop off and reset afforded in comfort, immersed in the countryside. - Cabin was perfectly situated for exploration of the nearby landscape and features. Spent a great day exploring Avebury and its wonders, before walking along the canal and onto Stonehenge. The place was a perfect little haven tucked away to provide a great respite to punctuate our adventures. Hot, powerful shower. Kitchen with everything you'd need.
Comfortable and spacious. and the garden was a delight to spend time in. Nothing comes to mind.
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wootton (8/5): Peaceful and relaxing property and location with helpful host. - Peaceful location, easy to navigate around the area from the property, good private parking /garden. Excellent host who was always available and happy to help.
- Deepak (9/5): Relaxing Getaway - We had a really good stay at Bumbles Cabin in Wilcot. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hot tub was a great bonus — relaxing in it after a day out made our stay even more enjoyable. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway to unwind and enjoy nature. We’d definitely recommend Bumbles Cabin to anyone looking for a charming and quiet place to stay!
- Katie (5/5): Was lovely for a one night stop that we needed but location a bit disappointing but can tell they had put a lot of effor - Can tell it had been done nicely to a basic standard , loved the fact hot was very well maintained. Bed very uncomfortable. Quality in the duvets and pillows, lack of condiments glasses ect was teabags sugar in small pot but no coffee and pot didn’t look very clean.
- Garrystrips (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - Not far from the Cotswolds- a short car journey away. Lovely bit of countryside, near a canal and a pub. A great escape out of the city. It had a log fire, hot tub and Netflix which made the stay lovely and cosy. The garden was lovely too and with some nice weather was perfect. Would definitely go back
- Forster (9/5): Superb - Lovley cabin in a great location
Enjoyed our stay nice walk along the canal just minutes away All good
- Stephen (10/5): Fabulous place for a retreat tucked away in a cosy village with great pub and classic village green! - Fantastic private location tucked away in a picture postcard little village with proper English pub serving great food. Lovely view of fields out of kitchen window. Very cosy. Perfect location for Devizes and surrounding area we needed for DW Kayak competition. Nothing
- Grace (9/5): A fantastic stay! A great place to escape for the weekend. - Great location. Beautiful place that was cosy, inviting and nicely decorated. Great facilities and use of hot tub.
- Paul (6/5): My first log cabin stay, impressed by everything, except the matress. - Lovely location, very clean and spacious. I only scored it as I did because I could not use all the facilities the score is based on.
Very rural but easy trip to Devizes or Pewsey.
Garden area with seating.
Easy parking. Mattress felt uncomfortable, unfortunately was a bit windy to use the tub, but looked great. It was on when I got there, remember to turn it off before you go to bed as it vibrates against the wall.
- Hazel (9/5): Superb -
- Jade (1/5): Unpleasant - Location to Pewsey For two nights we didn’t have any WiFi and we didn’t have any power for over an hour on the first night. So for the nights we didn’t have any WiFi, a relative of the host kept popping round to try to fix this. Host agreed to refund us for the first night but then decided not to due to dog hairs being on the sofa - of a property that is self-described as being dog friendly. In addition to this, the hot tub was grubby and had bits of dirt at the bottom. I ended up throwing out a bikini because of the dirt stains the hot tub had left on them. Bed was very uncomfortable and duvet was far too thin for the weather (late Feb). There were cob webs in the kitchen and the bathroom.
- Elena (8/5): Very good - Host was easy to contact Wifi was not working upon arrival but was quickly fixed.
- Paul (10/5): We both loved it. Highly recommended - The cabin was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, very helpful host who replied promptly and left us feeling very well looked after. Nothing, the experience was pretty flawless. I would say the current photos do not do it justice.
- Burns (10/5): Great cabin with everything you need. - Very clean and tidy. Hot tub was great. There did appear to be a few wasps in the cabin but they were dying and didn't really bother us.
- Hugh (8/5): Very comfortable stay. To be recommended - Spotless accommodation, well appointed. Heating and drying facilities were very welcome after arriving by bicycle soaking wet! Location suited us well. All as I would hope
- Naomi (9/5): Great nights stay away wish we could have stayed longer, will be back again! - Beautiful quiet cabin in the Wiltshire countryside.
Clean, well equipped, spacious.
Hot tub was great, hot & clean, loved that it was covered and romantic at night with the lights..great touch.
Enclosed garden for the dog which was great and nice outdoor seating area.
Information provided in timely manner and has information file in cabin which was helpful. Wasn’t able to use the fire as concerned our dog would get too close, could do with a fire guard for pets and kids.
Could do with new plumper pillows, duvet and bed comfortable and warm.
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (10/5): Perfect cabin for a break. - Great cabin in a great location. Very comfortable and well kitted out. The hot tub is a great touch aswell. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. Only thing I'd ask for is to have an iron and ironing board available in the cabin.
- Marcela (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely quiet place, everything what we needed for one night.
Even more with Hot tub. We liked everything.
