- Andy (6/5): A bit disappointing. Greed taking over quality.... - Location
Clean towels and bed linen although hastily made bed. Very similar setup to travel lodge and premier Inn except I would say less money is pumped back into the business to keep it fresh and attractive which is a real shame. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have run out of options. Not cheap either. No shower gel in my room either.
- Cameron (8/5): - The facilities, tv shower breakfast

- David (10/5): Excellent all round - All good All good
- Tom (10/5): -
- Brian (4/5): Forgetable! - Staff in the bar/restaurant in the evening were pleasant,. Light shining in to room from outside walkway on all night meant room wasn't dark.
Lot of traffic noise - windows could do with accoustic glass to help drown this out.
Breakfast was very poor - bacon was in bits and also cremated. Sausage was rubbery - possibly left over from previous day?
- Gwyn (8/5): Good Value - Friendly staff, large clean room. Good food options nearby. A little road noise with the window open
- P4TCJ (7/5): Uncomplicated accommodation - Good location - excellent parking - motel style rooms with parking slots in front of room door if required. Cheerful pleasant staff - Carvery available for evening - good value. Breakfast - provided good start to the day.
- Jan (9/5): Friendly, convenient and fairly quiet. - Great location for visiting my relatives. Access to room 2pm - great. Easy key drop off at end of stay. Fairly quiet despite being by main road. Intermittent wifi.
Some blood on wall in bathroom which I cleaned off.
Breakfast set charge £9 beforehand but had small breakfast each day so will choose non breakfast option next time + pay extra on day.
- Richard (8/5): It was convenient, clean and the pub provides an excellent breakfast - Convenient, clean and a good breakfast in the pub Noisy radiator
- Claire (1/5): -
- Jason (4/5): Avoid only book as a last resort - Was ok, toilet was broken and the panel on the floor when I arrived. Bed was comfy but all a bit tired and worn. The food in the pub is terrible. Perhaps the worst roast dinner I’ve ever had and I’m not to picky
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Wahieda (8/5): - Jammer dat alle kamers badkuip hebben. Zou fijner zonder badkuip. Verder was alles goed.
- Jay (5/5): Ok stay - Bed was good Mold in the room, paint coming off the walls and ceiling. Loud radiator clicking.
- Beech (9/5): - The bed was extremely big and very comfy. It was nice to have a bath and not just a shower. Everything was very good except the bathroom could do with painting as it was peeling off. However that didn't impact on our stay. Xx
- Suzanne (8/5): Suited our needs, cleanliness so important too. - Very clean room, especially having moved out from our already booked air b&b, which was not nice at all. Very comfy beds, welcoming staff, nice food. I suppose could do with a bit of an update decor wise, but other spot on facilities far more important.

- Michael (7/5): Cheap and cheerful but did what it needed to do in providing a comfortable nights sleep. - Comfortable bed. Reasonable breakfast which was included in the price. Looks a little tired on main road and there is a lot of traffic noise.
- Michael (8/5): The location was dry convenient for me as I was attending an event a few miles away the following morning. - Very quiet and private. Parking available and handy for the pub and food Bed was large but not very comfortable.
There was a box in one corner of the room with flashing LED lights which were distracting when I tried to sleep
- Darryl (10/5): -
- Darby (10/5): - Lovely clean comfortable rooms.. staff very friendly and helpful The lighting in the room isn't the best still felt abit dark even during the day

- Jessica (8/5): Great spot! - The check in was simple and all staff were friendly and helpful. I ate in the pub for dinner and breakfast which were both great, dinner was very reasonable too - I have dietary requirements and making changes was no issue. The bed was really comfy and the room spacious. The room lights were a little dark, being on the ground floor opening the curtains wasn't really an option to let in the natural light. The bathroom decor was slightly unloved but all cosmetic, everything still worked well.

- Katie Ekstrom (9/5): - Lovely place, staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and very comfortable. Would stay again. Thank you! My only suggestion would be better lighting, particularly in bathroom. I had to shine the lamp towards the door so that I could see in the mirror properly.
- Abiyola (9/5): Good value for money. Nice room. I would definitely stay again. - Looks like a mainstream hotel. My room had a slight old people home smell. The main mirror had little lightening.
- Sophie (9/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): - A great location. The bed was very comfortable Bathroom could do with a makeover

- Michael (10/5): We had a great night - The breakfast was excellent and the portion was very big Nothing it was all good we
- Goodhall (10/5): - Everything all ways stay at longshoot
- carol (6/5): Great room just a shame about the breakfast. - The room was clean and comfortable just what you need for an overnight stay. The lady at breakfast needs to work on her people skills. There was only a small amount of food on the continental breakfast table and they ran out of food. The cooked breakfast was cold so my friend had to leave it as she can't eat cold food. The air conditioning blowing out fully didn't help either. The drinks flasks need replacing as no one could get them to work correctly.
- Alexander (8/5): Very clean, very comfortable. Should be a bit cheaper really. - I like the motel style, much more convenient to pop out than a maze of corridors. The lady on reception was very friendly and the room was immaculately clean. Amazingly comfortable bed too. It's simple, clean and efficient. The doors are ridiculous, far too heavy and extremely noisy when closing. On a previous stay I trapped a finger and about chopped it off, I've stayed here probably 6 times now and I'm paranoid about it!
- susan (7/5): Liz was the best part of our stay, a legend - Liz the receptionist was very helpful and then she was running the breakfast shift the next morning and went above and beyond, she even filled up my water bottle with fresh iced water for my drive home. Little touches make all the difference. Early bar close 11pm. Used to a midnight closure at home!

- Chloe (8/5): -
- Cara (8/5): - Good location Cold room
- Sharon (1/5): Avoid - Leaving The whole place needs a revamp rooms stink cobwebs everywhere beds are so uncomfortable
- Laura (6/5): Give the Pub a miss - The reception lady was amazing. Very helpful and bubbly. One member of staff in the pub, extremely rude when my partner asked for ice for the room. We had been in there bar for 2 hours playing darts with customers and spending a lot of money buying drinks. At 10pm we went to room and then went back down to ask for ice, to which one barmaid rusty said I've cleaned the floor and by the way, we are closed. The door was open still and the other nice bar lastly helped with kindness.
Think the rude one needs customer service training quickly.
I managed a Greene king Pub and know that they are not allowed to close at 10pm. I will be chatting to the BDM.
The room it's self. There was paint flaking and the bathroom had no shower gel or soap.
The bath i didnt fit in as was very small. Im 5ft 5 1/2.

- Janette (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Friendly staff. Cheap food. It was a bit 'spit and sawdust' and very American style 'motel' but was cheap and suited our purpose.
- Mike Cheyne (10/5): -
- Neil (7/5): Was visiting family we would definitely stop again for the value for money - We were in room 16 the electric heater was very noisy but other than that the room was good value for money with the dinner and breakfast deal
- Sephton (8/5): - The location was ideal, it was central for most people, it was only myself that had a long journey The room I was in was clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was the downside.
Could do with a coat of paint.
And difficult to get in and out of the bath to have a shower, at 84 years of age
- Ajay (7/5): Need to be more customer focused - Clean quiet and friendly. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday morning. We wanted to stay one more night and was told we cannot change rooms or keep the current one. We had to check out and wait until 2pm for another room. We have stayed 3 nights and then to be told we couldn’t extend our stay until later was not very nice feeling and waiting in the car for 3 hours to check in was uncalled for. I didn’t want to stay in the Pub as I was tired and didn’t want to spend anymore funds.
- Andrew (10/5): Great place - It’s nice, neat and comfy with less or no noise The heating in my room wasn’t very good, seems to be on a timer or something so it was a bit chilled
- Linda (9/5): -
- Aamir (8/5): -
- kathleen (10/5): All in all a perfect stay will definitely come back - The room was clean beautifully decor
Bed really comfortable Wall heater kept making an annoying noise on a night
- brian (1/5): - Leaving Room was shabby and freezing
- John (4/5): Could have been better - On arrival we asked if we could have a key ( not checkin at that was at 14:00 and it was 13:15)
Told no!
We could book a whole night before to get early checkin, had to travel to Birmingham and hence had to get key at 23:30 when we came back
- Vicky (9/5): Would definitely book again - Easy check in, clean and spacious room Toilet continued ti flush throughout the night. Not a complaint but only thing I could fault
- Harnett (8/5): Much better than anticipated ...good value for money - Breakfast choice and layout excellent value for money, quick service, friendly staff N/a
- Hill (10/5): - Room was nice and warm. Could have done with having more tea, coffee and milk.
