• Isis (10/5): Geweldig - Wij hebben 5 nachten geslapen in Suba Homestay. De host is enorm aardig en heel behulpzaam. We hadden meerdere keren een taxi nodig, die werd elke keer meteen geregeld. Ook hebben we een keer om 10 uur ‘s avonds gebeld ivm een enorme spin in onze kamer (dit kan natuurlijk gebeuren) en onze host stond binnen 10 minuten voor de deur om deze voor ons weg te halen! De kamer is erg schoon en de badkamer heel fijn. De locatie is top, wij hebben ook veel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad en de gehele sfeer is absoluut geweldig. Wij hebben over een paar dagen een nieuwe boeking gemaakt!

Thank you very much👍🏼 The rooms were super clean, well equipped with aircon and the bathrooms were also very nice designed with mirror, hot shower with strong pressure. There was free water to drink, a fridge to use for all guests and also complimentary coffee Within 5 minutes of walking you have some restaurants, the beach and small shops. The pool was super refreshing on the hot days and well cleaned. All in all I think it's the best possibility to stay close to mushroom beach. Nothing

• Kayla (10/5): Absolutely amazing! - EVERYTHING! such a lovely place with such a lovely owner. the rooms are gorgeous and the pool area is so nice. the owner is one of the nicest people i have ever met, he has really put a lot of effort into this place and he’s done such a good job. I honestly cant think of anything to fault, perfect stay and we will definitely be back! He gave us such good suggestions of what to see and where to go, and even booked us a snorkel trip to see the mantas. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent water pressure. - in our opinion, it’s based in the best part of lembongan. Mushroom bay. Its little bay is perfect for swimming, the water is stunning. If you need anything, the owner will help you sort it out. We would stay here again. Top top The location is perfect for eateries. The ones either side of the property do amazing food. At the end of the road there is newly opened secret baked. Thank me later. Nothing. We loved it there!

• Carly (10/5): - Maclir was a great host. If I needed anything, we had a ton of recommendations. The rooms and bed were super comfy, the showers were nice and hot. The pool was a great touch to stay cool. Location was close to mushroom bay and a ton of restaurants. I rented a scooter so it was easier to get around. I really enjoyed my stay here. The only downside that I would say is that there's no "social space." There are chairs near the pool, but theres no table to sit/eat/work at. A very minor things. I would stay here again.

• Jennifer (9/5): Super! Ik heb 3 top nachten gehad. - Het is een top kamer. Lekker groot bed, een rekje voor je kleding, een klein bureautje met een stoel en een kluisje. Fijne lampjes naast je bed. De badkamer ook fijn. Lekkere douche!! De locatie ligt wat buiten het centrum, maar juist daarom helemaal geen last van de omgeving met geluiden. Je kan er ook een scooter huren en je bent binnen 10 minuten in het centrum. Airco doet het ook top! Je hebt een gezamenlijke koelkast waar je gebruik van kan maken. Het zijn echt mini dingetjes, waar je het eigenlijk zeker niet op moet afrekenen. Er liepen soms wat miertjes binnen, de kraan moet je op een aparte manier aan krijgen maar je kan de kracht van de straal niet veranderen en ik miste een zeep pompje naast de wasbak.

Lovely room with tea and coffee and frangipani flowers scattered on the beds was a lovely touch . The cafe next door was fabulous with delicious pineapple and banana pancakes for breakfast . Great location just 10 mins from Mushroom Bay and away from the all the busy main area . Nothing !!!

• Nigel (6/5): It was okay - A very nice comfortable bed and linen. A great bathroom and good hot water, the Netflix was a surprise bonus 🙏 The host could not give me 1/ a knife and bowl so I could eat my fruit 2/ a regular fan so I could switch off the aircon which I don’t like, the closed loop is bad for one’s health. I could not open the window for fresh air and there was no other natural air vents, so I bought tacks and fabric mesh so I could open the window for fresh air. There were so many bugs at night near the fridge the pool had 100s of dead bugs, there are light bulbs that don’t attract bugs, there was no switch I could find to turn off lights, sadly a lot of bugs drowned last night 😔 I rarely ever rate a place low like this, but I rely on booking.com feedback and I really hope this place does well but they must be more helpful to guests with such basic requests.

No drinking water (you must buy your own) No protection against mosquitoes Power and water outage every day for +- 1h Noise level was okayish, but don't stay here if you have light sleep. Paper walls. Roosters and conversations since early morning. No hair dryer

• Qi Hui (9/5): Very clean and comfortable homestay in a quiet location - - very close to Mushroom Bay Beach - it is located in a peaceful and quiet area and I had very good rest here - the room and toilet are almost of a hotel standard, modern and very clean (and cleaned immaculately every day) - comfortable bed - the owner Maclir was friendly and helpful Overall it was very good, so the below are just minor things: - the shower heater was a little unreliable - it takes awhile for the shower to turn hotter or colder when you turn the handle (which is normal), but sometimes it was not stable and would turn back to hot/cold after awhile. Not a big deal but I had to adjust it a few times during the shower - a hairdryer would have been nice (either one for each room or one that we could borrow) - no water refill but not a big deal, you can get water easily at the mini marts outside

Maclir ti fa sentire subito a casa. È una brava persona,s'impegna molto ed è sempre pronto ad aiutarti se ne hai bisogno fornendoti un servizio impeccabile. Non avevo l'opportunità di spostarmi sull'isola con lo scooter ma lui mi ha sempre portata dove e quando volevo non facendomi mai mancare nulla. Mi sono trovata così bene che ho esteso la mia permanenza! Grazie mille per avermi reso questo soggiorno fantastico. Lo consiglio vivamente!

• Paula (10/5): Best place! - The location was fantastic, 5min walk to Mushroom beach or 15 min walk to Coconut Bay. The room was incredibly clean and the owner was so helpful if we needed anything. 3 weeks in Bali and this was our favourite place!
• Franny (9/5): A hidden treasure! Loved the shower! - Suba Homestay provided beautiful, clean, modern bedrooms & a stunning bathroom. Large king size bed. It was such a pleasure to have a quick shower, each day, over the large, flat stone slab & black river stones. Shampoo & body wash provided in the shower recess. Clean pool & relaxing outdoor seating. Outdoor foot shower & toilet/shower by the pool. Good communal fridge. Rooms tidied each day. Quiet, peaceful environment. Short walk to everything, including beaches. Our host, Maclir, was very approachable, friendly, helpful with any requests for advice & he kindly booked our day trips. Maclir was always on the ball, always available, either in person, or via apps. We would highly recommend this little treasure to anyone, especially for those on a tight budget. Great value for money. Only a couple of minor downsides, for us: * After arrival by fast boat. We knew that the venue was a short walk from Mushroom Bay, but we followed google maps & ended up taking a long 15 min walk with all our luggage, strapped to us, on rocky roads. We arrived hot, sweaty & a bit frustrated. There was a much shorter, more pleasant route of which we are now aware. Would have been good to know about the short route before arrival. * No drinking water was provided, even on the first day. This was not a problem for us, though, as we brought our own compact water filter (Waterman) with us, so could make our own potable drinking water. You might want to bring a bottle of water on the way over, or just head out & stock up locally. No big deal. Just giving future guests a heads-up.

• Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Very conveniently located to restaurants, beaches, shops, yoga places. Rooms were tidied and cleaned everyday. Bathroom is very clean and tidy. For the price it’s amazing value! The owner is also very lovely and helpful. Maybe a water station could be good - but you can easily buy water from the shops nearby so it wasn’t a big inconvenience.

Maclir was so helpful and approachable, we will definitely be staying for future holidays on Nusa Lembongan. • Yvonne (10/5): 100% recommend staying here. - Loved the newly furnished property. Even was the washroom was newly renovated and top notch. They had warm water and good air conditioning. We requested a taxi ride from the harbour and it costed us 150k idr. Helpful host, he told us where we could rent bikes, etc. Nice pool and cute cozy vibe at night. The host could have been a bit more courteous imo, he was making a ride to the same place we wanted to go and could have offered to drop us seeing that we were going to walk with heavy bags but chose not to. But no biggie.

• Sarah (8/5): Beautiful little refuge close to mushroom bay - I was warmly welcomed, the room is clean and comfortable and has a nice bathroom. There’s a small outdoor area. Location was perfect for me personally, but for people who want to be in the middle middle of the happening you need to take a scooter. I could sometimes hear my neighbors with loud music and the bathroom smells very wet at times, which I find fairly normal in this climate.

Highly recommend - The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to go and what to do and were very accomodating and efficient. The room was very clean and modern and they cleaned it everyday for us. The location was near everything we needed and most things within walking distance. Staff are happy to arrange anything you need & can also arrange pick up/drop off. Pool and outdoor area was also clean and tidy. Nothing!

The room was spacious and comfortable and provided everything we look for in accommodation. The rates of rooms and all extra activities were very competitive and the host was very responsive to organising these. Not much to say. Mushroom bay beach has enough going for it to enjoy Nusa Lembongan, however this is out of town and I would find it frustrating to get a taxi back and forth each day.. If you are comfortable driving a motorbike, the host will organise one for you at a very competitive rate!

The property was beautiful, the rooms were so clean and then cleaned daily and free coffee in the room The location was perfect walking distance to all the beaches, loads of restaurants. The beds were big and the room was a good size. The owner was so lovely as well talking me through the island of what’s good to see, whats going on and always asking about your day. Would definitely stay again
