• Maisy (1/5): Awful facilities, terrible customer service. Avoid. - Close to city Awful stay. No flushing toilet on our last day, terrible water pressure throughout. Leaking bathroom tap, blocked shower drain so while bathroom flooded whenever you tried to shower. Filthy kitchen extractor hood. Kitchen cupboards also full of spare fixtures and fittings… Complained to the host who didn’t believe any of our concerns but also didn’t want to see video and picture proof! Avoid this apartment and any others this person lets, absolute waste of money with awful customer care.

• Jodie (8/5): Convenient, clean and good location, however, the alternative parking advise is misleading - Compact, clean and comfortable space for a short break. The parking was an issue - advised we’d have 2 vehicles. Aware parking provided for one, however the suggested alternative car park is a maximum 3 hour stay so wasted a good couple of hours finding a long stay car park.

• JuceeRob (9/5): Lovely property deserving of your attention if travelling to York. - This lovely annex property is nestled away in York within walking distances of most areas of the major city itself. It was extremely clean and comfortable with many modern amenities throughout. The bed is extremely comfortable, the linens are fresh and the towels were clean. The little folder on the front table has all local facilities, numbers and some good information that might help during your stay. The access is very well explained by the host before arrival and the video guide to parking was extremely useful. The shower has a large step to get in, not a problem for myself but if you have accessibility issues it could be a problem. The front gate where the keybox was is also a bit stiff and could use the lock mechanism looking at as it's quite hard to turn the key.

• Mary (5/5): With some attention this would be a great apartment. - I liked the location and the security. The bed was comfortable. The apt was not as clean as I expected. There were food crumbs from previous occupants under the table, the table mats were dirty. The shower outlet was slow, I almost flooded the bathroom twice. Paint work throughout needs attention. However, with attention to those details it would be an excellent accommodation

• Lynne (9/5): A lovely bright apartment with free parking and outdoor seating - The place is great. The bonus of free parking and the outdoor seating was a bonus The location would have been better nearer the city centre but we appreciate that’s difficult to get parking as well
• Max (7/5): Good - The lay out was good and a comfy bed The cleanliness - we had to clean this property on arrival to our holiday. There was cobwebs dirty carpet and lots of spiders. Also the microwave had to be cleaned out.
• Carl (5/5): Great stay ! But once again extra towels should have been given as we were not just an overnight . - Very close to the twn , avail to walk to facilities. Since we stayed over for a few nights .. would have appreciated if extra clean towels were given .. We're also told to take shoes off before entering property , that was all good till I had a small thorn from a plant go in my foot obviously from someone not cleaning properly.. Would have also appreciated to be told that the washing machine is out of order before we arrived .

• Alex (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful, modern, very nice shower and would happily stay again if the price was right I couldnt sort out the heating and could hear either next door or alot of movement so couldnt sleep. As someone who is autistic, not controlling my temperature makes me anxious same with hearing next door at all hours.

• J (7/5): Very good location for self catering just outside York city centre. - Excellent location for York city centre, provided you're happy walking a mile. Very convenient for self-catering with several food shops within 2 minute walk. Good size for 2 people, nicely furnished. Unfortunately there were a couple of things. There were no instructions for the heating - but on the other hand the owner was easily contacted and told us what to do. One saucepan and two frying pans made cooking interesting! But good microwave and oven plus hob (for which there were no instructions). Also the bathroom door furniture was broken and as it opens onto the living/dining area this was a bit uncomfortable. But it is a nice bathroom and generously supplied with toiletries.
• Tewsday (10/5): Perfect - Lovely place to stay. Already planning on staying here again when revisiting York! Perfect location. Couldn’t fault the place, very easy to find & host gave us spot on instructions way ahead of our stay with all the information needed, making everything smoooth 10/10.
• Elise (8/5): We would very happily stay again when visiting York. - Convenient for the city, in a very pleasant, slightly bohemian area with good shops and places to eat. Quiet, private, with a decent kitchen and enough equipment to cook simple meals. Comfortable furniture, including the bed. The information and video about the parking area was helpful. I had no problem reversing in as suggested, but was glad to have been warned in advance this was the best way to do it. A very helpful and informative information folder.
