Guest Reviews
- Ann (3/5): avoid - the house is a lovely size and clean on arrival the host showed us around the house, he then said that the heating was on a timer and can we please not touch the timer or thermostat. this meant that the house was cold during the day, as the heating only came on in the morning and in the evening. we stayed during November so it was cold, especially in the kitchen, we was wearing our dressing gowns during the day. if your staying in a property, you should be able to have the heating on when ever you like. we stayed for 4 nights, on the morning of departure, the host knocked on the front door, asking if we was ready to leave, departure time was 10.30 and he knocked at 10.20, luckily we was ready. the host then said "you haven't signed the guest book", this book was in the kitchen for people to write a review on departure, my question is, how did he know we hadn't written a review, if he had not been in the house?? this made us question the whole stay!!
