Guest Reviews
- Millie (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !! The location is beautiful and the food is incredible. Shout out to Agis and the rest of the boys for taking us to get fresh veg from the farm, so we could do a cooking class with Amina. We stayed here twice, couldn’t recommend more.

- Karolina (10/5): Two amazing days with the nicest family in a beautiful location - Amazing, cozy bungalow in the middle of the rice fields with a view of Mount Rinjani. The highlight of the place is the friendly family who owns it and the cute little girl Saskia. You'll have a real authentic cultural experience when you stay there, they show and tell you everything about Indonesian culture and the life in the village, plus I highly recommend doing the cooking class with them. Great pancakes and fruits for breakfast as well as a beauty treatment by the little girl Saskia were also included :P

- Pia (10/5): - Padi Bungalows is located in a beautiful spot, right in the middle of the rice fields. A peaceful haven among the bustle of the world.
And Jaya, the owner, was a real nice guy, who showed me his farm, and even cooked corn on his traditional fire stove directly from the farm for me, while we had a nice evening chatting about life, while the frogs and criquets startet singing.

- Ryan (10/5): - Really sweet accomodation, away from the hustle and noise. The staff were very friendly and nice!
Very comfortable bed and great sleep that wasn’t interrupted by the early morning to prayer call.
- Valerie (1/5): - We didn’t gate there because they gave our room to someone else. Very disappointed. Check carefully before going there!
- hülya (9/5): - The view and staff was amazing. There are meal options, too. The room was clean and also extremely affordable. There is no wall so that it felt a bit louder especially if there are crowds. Other than that everything was great.
- Sylvie (8/5): -

- Dorian (10/5): Very good - Amazing stay in Tetebatu!
I had a great time here, the setting is absolutely stunning, right in the middle of the rice fields. The atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature.
- Augustin (10/5): Peaceful place lost in the middle of the rice fields, 200% recommended! - How to describe such a wonderful experience? As soon as you get to Padi Bungalow, the peacefulness of the area reaches you, lost in the middle of the rice fields, you are immersed in the local life. The staff is the nicest, the food is great, the location is the best one, the bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is so better than in many other places. I definitely recommend.
- Klaus (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (10/5): Great team of people - Brilliant place, everyone there was lovely and very helpful. Food was great as well.
- Jamie (8/5): Mantap - A really beautiful location, the bamboo bungalows are nestled amongst rice padi and have a fantastic view of Mt Rinjani. There is a resto, kitchen and dining area and easy access to the village, surrounding area and activities. Jaya is extremely welcoming and able to help with any planning of activities you may require.
- Lemmel (10/5): Exceptional - Jaya and his team are really nice people, the accommodation is good and I enjoyed staying there !
- Thalea (7/5): Good - Friendly and helpful staff. Sometimes talks too much Little privacy because of one window into the bathroom that faced the area where staff walked around. Needs some coverage. Once a staff member even talked to me when I was in my bathroom.
Also the curtain towards the bed does not close properly
- Lucie (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, at the heart of the village, Very authentic and idyllic, well away from the madding crowds. Delicious breakfast. For the adventurous, not those that like luxury.
- Cian (10/5): 10/10 - Great views of Mt Ranjani in the morning with nice sunrise spot around the corner from the rooms Google maps location not entirely correct. You have to keep following the road until you see a sign
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views of the rice fields and the mountain. The cabin was really comfortable and with a good bathroom. The staff was lovely and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend to stay here.
- Kai (4/5): Not ready for primetime - Beautiful location in the middle of rice fields with sweeping vistas of the Rinjani mountain range. Very kind staff trying their best to keep the place running. Great breakfast. It is built very simply, the wood is untreated and has many sharp edges and abrasive surfaces. No bum gun (in Asia?!). No WiFi. They constantly had to fiddle around with the water, the heater, and the pump to get it to work. Room wasn’t ready at all, even though I booked weeks in advance and confirmed everything. Kitchen doesn’t have any sink or running water. The main issue, though, was that both bungalows were infested with mice that ran around everywhere creating noise and dirt. As rodent droppings are very unhygienic and they were right above the bed, that was a dealbreaker for me and I checked out much earlier than intended.
I wish them all the best and hope they get the issues under control, but at the moment, unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.
- Babar (5/5): Passable -
