Guest Reviews
- KunLin (9/5): - The room is clean and cheap with a big TV awesome, the community is quite and safe at night also the location is not the best but there is a bus top you can reach in 1 mins by foot, so it's still very convenient to go to downtown, the landlord is very kind and nice, you can use the kitchen to cook
- Matt (10/5): Stephanie is the most welcoming, kind and friendly host I have ever met. It was a pleasure to stay. -
- Jawad (9/5): Agréable - Propreté, l’emplacement et surtt l’hote sui est tres sympat Rien à signaler
- Mohammad (10/5): - The landlord is a very kind and hospitable person she really takes care of her house everything is clean tidy to the last bit. You can have really nice conversations with her and shes always smiling. The beds are really comfy youll feel at home the bathrooms are comfy in a nut shell theres everything you need and everyone is welcome. Ill 10/10 stay there again everytime im in manchester.

- romanmeyer (6/5): bed and shower, nothing more - price was very good, i only pay 100GBP for 4 nights. it is almost for free
there is a bus stop in 2 minutes from home you are literally living in someones apartment, you a sharing bathroom with a landlord and other guests. and the room itself looks like someone lives here. there are photos of this lady everywhere, which is a bit creepy
i did not want use kitchen, i tried to be at the location as less as possible. So i was there just for sleeping, taking shower and sneak out for the whole day
there was no lock in room, so in theory anyone could open your room and make everything with your stuff
internet connection was very poor
- Tseuk Sing Aison (10/5): - Everything is great. Just the pillows were a little bit too thick.
- Brian Stovell (8/5): - The host was a nice friendly person No shops

- Abramovich (3/5): Consider this: - That I stayed inside during the stay and kept the door closed. It's important to understand that these people (for the most part) are not your friend. They want money from you. That lady purposefully removed locks from bedroom doors, to ensure that her customers have no privacy. She is seemingly nice, but if you look closely it's not real. She mentions having a heart problem, but she doesn't move with caution. I'm not belittling any problem she has, but she says it so you feel sorry for her. She says it as if it adds to her character or being "genuine". She kept talking about not liking the discount her rooms gave on the booking site, but it isn't worth any more than I paid. I'm pretty sure the lady is a witch and that's not the problem. The problem is how manipulative her witchery is. She places mirrors everywhere and that helps to give protection to the home. But it can also be a portal for evil. But the abundance of photos of herself around the home, including the toilet is there to intimidate you into behaving.
I was very quiet during my stay and kept everything clean. She kept telling me how surprised she was that I cared about the rules.
At some point she started avoiding me and it was only when I told her I wanted to stay longer (at first I did) that she stopped avoiding me. She just cares about the money and not your comfortability or safety.
I told her what I know about spirituality and I think it scared her.
There is no lock on the bedroom door and she said she was advised by the council not to put it there in case of a fire. But it doesn't make any sense. She told me she purchased the house from the council and the room I stayed in had another fire exit. It's very normal for bedroom doors to have a lock. I feel like it's just to exploit customers. I also learned that another review on here said she went into their stuff, when they went to work.

- FENNELL (8/5): Recommended - Excellent value. Friendly host. Use of kitchen. Quirky decor. Plenty of buses from nearby stop for short journey to city centre Light in bedroom a bit dim for comfortably reading print.
- May (10/5): -
- Lentini (7/5): - Cleaneness and the host. I did not like that the door does not lock.
- Petra (10/5): Very nice homeowner, I would definitely come back - Felt like at home, beautiful room and everything was super clean. Comfortable, great location close to the centre. Nothing bad.
- Brianne (8/5): Steph is super sweet! - 15 minutes by bus to town centre! The price was amazing too, an incredible deal for being so close to the city. Steph was a sweet host who loves to meet people from all around the world! She gave me a towel for my stay and access to her fridge. I only stayed a week but she has ppl do longer stays too! The house felt cluttered but I eventually got used to it. Everything else was great!
- James (7/5): Good -

- Zhang (10/5): great - I'm Sunny. I stayed for four nights. It was a very good experience. The landlord loves cleanliness and is very enthusiastic. The surrounding environment of the house is very good, and it is convenient to take a bus; Will come again next time;
- Andrei (1/5): Never again - Nothing The owner lives in the property where I have a bedroom to stay
She refused to put heating on which made me ill as I woke many times so cold
Many many rules,very unwelcoming
No proversy as the bedroom door was broken with a huge piece missing at the top
The owner had been through my bags when I was at work which made me very upset
The shower was vertically impossible to use as I was told by the owner I had to shower to one side as else it would leak downstairs
When you use the toilet she told me I had to use separate water to put in after to flush
Very very poor all round and should never be let
She was very stricked
Why are these properties not checked
I had paid 12 nights and due to work commitments I had no choice but to see through after paying so much money
I would not recommend anyone else suffer these premises again
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carryer (8/5): Very good - Upstairs double bed with privacy respected. Quality pans with gas stove tops. Minute walk from bus stop which has frequent buses straight to the city. Shower head is hand held which was a learning curve and it had a false tooth sitting next to it.
- Ridwan (8/5): Very good -
- Shankar (5/5): Nice stay, but with room for improvement!! - 1. Excellent host
2. Commendable Hospitality
3. Nice Ambience
4. Ease of access
5. Decorum
6. Clean, Neat and Tidy
7. Fully equipped kitchen with loads of utensils and essentials
8. Neatly maintained bath and washroom
9. Excellent bedding
10. Accessibility to essentials. My reviews are exclusively based on my personal experiences with the property while I was inhabiting it.
1. Unreliable Internet connectivity: Despite advertising a 5Ghz broadband service, the Internet is way too slow and goes out of order intermittently.
2. Compromised Electrical Supply: During my period of stay renovation work was going on comprising the lights and power supply to an extent wherein there was no power supply at all for almost a day. This being an informed activity, could have been well planned and managed without impacting the tenants, or at least provisioning of a backup source would have been appreciable.
3. The room is preoccupied with loads of host's items taking out the competitive advantage of a double room as it's advertised, hence making it less usable for tenants.
NB: The Washing machine isn't accessible for tenants: A disclaimer on ad description on this limitation would help tenants looking forward for longer stay, to take an informed decision.)
- Sushil (9/5): Great value for money and met expectations - The location was good. Since it was at the end of the road, it was quite. The rooms were good and clean, and there was a shower and toilet. Everything worked. I didn't use the kitchen facilities, so I cannot comment on them. The heating was not on, and I didn't get the answer as to how to turn it on. So it was a bit nippy, but later on, once you are in the duvet and are sleepy enough, you get used to it.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - It was the perfect place to stay for 4 nights in Manchester for the Test Match. Friendly, welcoming, very comfortable and 5 minutes walk from the nearest tram station from where you are in the city centre in less than 15 minutes. You are made to feel like one of the family. Great value for money and highly recommended! Absolutely nothing to fault.

- Shamoil (10/5): Exceptional - the rooms are clean & nearly everything is available location is a bit far from the city centre.
heater was not switched on for 2 out of 3 nights, but had a water bag
- De (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was very lively, friendly and accomedating. Room was very homely and comfortable. Location was convenient enough to reach the city center within 15 mins by bus. Boiler stopped working during my stay, however the Owner did provide solutions to address the issue whilst the city council delayed in repairs. Says more about the city council than anything else.
- Mirja@live.co.uk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fionn (9/5): Superb - Very handy location with a tram stop nearby to city centre along with bus connection. Very comfortable room. The home owner was very friendly and helpful. I was a solo traveller who was visiting Manchester to visit some nightclubs and there was no issues with me coming in very late at night. Front door can be tricky to lock.
