- Julian (10/5): Lovely stay in a great, quiet location. - Very well appointed, everything you could possibly need! Warm, cosy, blissfully quiet.
- Margaret (8/5): A lovely property needing some maintenance issues resolving to make it perfect. - A warm comfortable barn with almost every facility you could want decorated for an Xmas visit. Needs a little maintenance to ensure clients total comfort . Hot water issues in the downstairs bathroom and none in the evenings in either bathroom. Some radiators not working. Hob not working . Instruction manuals for appliances need to be available. Some areas not cleaned before rental. A cafetière would be welcome.

- Natalie (10/5): A perfect bolt hole for visiting our family and preparing for our wedding vow renewal - Beautiful inside and out, lovely fixtures and fittings and a very much appreciated welcome pack
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about the place was excellent. Nothing.
- Sheila (10/5): Would highly recommend this property. - House was lovely. Spacious and tastefully decorated with a nice garden facing west giving us great sunsets. Loads of footpaths straight from the house so great area for walking. Really nice local pub with an excellent cafe attached.
- Alicia (9/5): Excellent stay - Beautiful large house with every facility you could ask for Can be hard to find
- Angela (8/5): We had a lovely stay in this comfortable and spacious accommodation. - Location was rural, peaceful and charming although if you don't know the area a little hard to find. The accommodation was smart and of a modern design with a lot of inbuilt facilities which were useful. The towels and bedding were lovely, clean and soft and the accommodation had ample space to relax with a garden area. A thoughtful welcome pack was much appreciated. The lock box with the key made it very easy to access the property and it felt private and secure. There was still no manual or helpful instructions for the cooker. I did query this prior to going and was informed there were some there. There were not unfortunately and we needed to google the cooker to get it to work. The spiral staircase has a wobbly banister on the top left which can be a bit disconcerting. The spiral staircase is ok for able-bodied guests but might concern the elderly or younger age children. The bins could be more clearly marked to make it clear what should be put into them for recycling, refuse etc. We did our best. Minor issues included the lounge carpet needing a bit of a clean and the fact that upstairs there is no mirror in the double bedroom near a socket so drying hair can be an issue.
- Howard (7/5): Lovely place, would happily recommend. - Well laid out, and homely feel. Comfy bed. Kitchen lacking a few utensils needed to cook.
Ensuite is really, really, small. Have to walk sideways past the sink!
Most places leave an info pack, with instructions for appliances. I.e oven symbols! This one didn’t.
- Melissa (9/5): Very comfortable, cosy, and well equipped. Lots of lovely day trips within an hour or so drive. - It was fine for us, but need to be quite able bodied to get a heavy suitcase up the spiral staircase.
- Philippa (10/5): I wasn’t able to go unfortunately as I had Covid, but my son his wife and toddler really enjoyed their stay. - Lovely downstairs space.
Quick to respond when we were locked out. Staircase, with a toddler .
Could have done with instructions re hob and heating.
- Cox (8/5): A rural retreat - Very comfortable and clean in an excellent rural location. Only minor.
The spiral staircase was a bit wobbly. Top kitchen cupboard Right hand side seems to open the wrong way.
A 'J' cloth/dish cloth would have been be useful.
- Boyle (9/5): Really comfortable, clean, lovely accomodation - The beds were large and incredibly comfortable. It was clean and we were provided with milk and a welcome pack. Access was easy, good parking. The living space was cosy and warm, excellent bathroom facilities. A really lovely barn. My only concern when we first arrived was the slightly wobbly bannister at the top of the spiral staircase, however I don't think you could actually fall through it... Just me being nervous
- Kathrin (9/5): Great place to relax - Lovely place, very clean and cosy.
- Lynda (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great, lovely barn conversion, very well equipped and very comfortable... We had trouble opening the patio door but once we got the hang of it , all was fine.
An information booklet would have been good, we had a job switching hob on then discovered a switch under the back of the unit... all trivial so not a big problem
- Ralph (10/5): Excellent - Everything, that good I could live there. Nothing at all to dislike
- Su (9/5): Superb -

The barn was amazing, lovely decor and had everything you could possibly need for a brilliant stay. The owners were very helpful when we had questions and replied quickly. Really good location to use as a base to travel to Oxford, Highclere Castle and RHS Wisley. Would have been good to have a guide on how to use the appliances.
Upstairs bathroom, couldn't get the shower to a temperature that was acceptable, way too hot.
