Guest Reviews
- Helen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sithole (2/5): Its not worth the price - Its just a standard house which is overrated. Stinky which i think its molds . We woke up and the table had frost on it . We had to leave the windows open the whole day so we can sleep and breathe better air and imagine in winter opening windows all day . Bedding , heating , wifi was okay . The kitchen and lounge was clean
- Beth (6/5): Pleasant stay. - Nice property. Good location. Clean Limited facilities.
- Mcleish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (3/5): Poor - Was close by to everything The photos advertised are a little misleading. We paid £353.00 for 2 nights so expected a much higher standard. When we arrived, all of the windows were open however once we got in the house we realised it was probably because of the horrendous smell. It had a very strong musty and damp smell which made us feel dirty whenever we were in the house and even clung to our clothes. We told hosts and asked for some money back however as we didn't contact them about this during our stay, they refused. If we were in a position that abled us to rebook elsewhere, we definitely would have.
- Andrea (9/5): Ideal for family accommodation - Great communication and the house was just as described. Nothing. It was just right for our family trip, visiting family nearby.
- Fiona (3/5): People in the local area were friendly and the house is located near to walks and leisure centre - the property was central for our needs. The wifi was good and tv was important. The beds and bedding felt clean. The towels were good quality and clean. overall condition of the property lacked care and attention to detail: large water stain on ceiling in kitchen, water stains on the rear wall in the dining area and marking on walls in the small bedroom. Wall paper was peeling off the wall above the back door, the main kitchen light did not work and was stained from water ingress. There was an unpleasant smell on entering the property that did not go away. Some of the glasses and cups smelled. The windows were dirty. There was a gap between the wall and the double glazed door frame where you could see light from outside. The shower is a non thermostatic mixer type which is dangerous on a combi boiler- it got very hot after use of taps downstairs and could have scalded one of us. The green bin outside was flooded with rain water so we were unable to use it. The garden was poorly maintained and there was no garden furniture to sit out. The kitchen utensils were so flimsy they became useless when even slightly warm in the pot. The cost of the stay was very overpriced. You can get accommodation with more and better quality facilities for the same money. In the accommodation description it does not mention that the house is on the flight path for Glasgow International Airport.
- Gary (8/5): A nice house in a quiet area - It did everything we needed it to do for a few days.
The area was very quiet and accessible to everything that you could need.
It was clean and spacious The bath was really small and the shower head had to be held to be used. Small gripe, not a big problem.
You can hear everything from upstairs to downstairs, snoring in the next room, no mirror in bathroom
- Nadia (6/5): Enjoyed our stay, few recommendations but very nice property, very homey and good value for money. - Nicely decorated, plenty of seating downstairs, comfy beds, very spacious The shower, it was just a disaster, couldn’t shower properly as you had to hold the shower head to clean your body.
No seating out side.
No secure garden, gate wasn’t on and dog escaped.
They could have been hooks to hang up coats also hooks in the bathroom and hangers for the rails.
