- Irene (7/5): Roomy accommodation with adequate facilities - Location was central. The bathroom needed upgrading- broken shower screen and taps need fixing.
- Evans (10/5): -
- Bruce (9/5): Very comfortable and excellent support from the management. - The location was central and close to a shopping centre.
- Ben (8/5): -

- Bruce (1/5): A very poor choice for our stay in Kalgoorlie, we didn't stay - Nothing Arrived at Hyacinth Egan apartment, first impression from front door area, not inviting, front door needs painting, front area very dusty and unkempt, ok it’s in the outback but could have been cleaned and better presented. Kitchen, oven filthy hasn’t been cleaned in a long time, exhaust fan above dirty full of grease, well-worn lounge chairs, floors sticky, Bed has no top sheet, vertical blind need replacing, Back yard very unkempt, weeds growing everywhere, clothes line hanging off the frame, area very dirty and it’s been a long time since this area has been in use. Bathroom glass shower door has a big crack in it, mould in shower area. What we were presented with is not the apartment portrayed on the Booking.com website.
We rang host Veronica and advised her of our findings with the apartment and that we were going to vacate due to the state of the apartment, Veronica to her credit offered us a full refund which we accepted over the phone.
- Sandie (7/5): Kalgoorlie 3 night getaway - Walking distance to town centre. Very quite complex. Was clean & tidy. Provided what we needed for our short stay. Single lounger chairs uncomfortable. A few extra cooking implements would help for those who like to do own cooking.
- Marion (9/5): Outside area needs a little TLC, & would suggest changing vertical blinds, not huge issues, but still a great place - Lovely comfortable apartment. Great location N/A
- Bryn (8/5): Really nice tidy place, would be happy to stay again. - Good location, nice and tidy. Wasn't aware of the wifi until I was leaving and saw the code in a picture frame. Wasn't a fan of there being no normal tv
- manuel (9/5): - Clean and comfortable. Noise from pub down the road, no permanent unit parking spot.
- Lauren (7/5): Great location for exploring Kal - Great location, great facilities Floor was very sticky/filthy - trashed a few pairs of socks
- mary (8/5): I would book again but advise owner to check the cleaning from time to time. Especially shower - Handy spot near shops. Great aircon and nice furniture Comfortable bed and good shower Great hot water system The floor in shower had dirt on it and dust on side tables in bedroom
- GAZ (8/5): -
- Anil (7/5): - Just appropriate for a couple of days stay in Kalgoorlie.
The location is 10/10 Bathroom needs TLC
- Frances (8/5): Very happy, thanks. - Comfortable bed.
- Jordan (10/5): -
- Rodney (8/5): Good location - quite comfortable for a couple. Parking a little cramped. - Great Location - close to shops and food outlets The microwave on top of the fridge. It worked fine but you could not open the door without opening the freezer door. Put it in the bench!
- Paul (6/5): - Location The lounge suite was very uncomfortable.
- James (8/5): Good location clean not what we were expecting. - Close to town centre Unfortunately travelling we were expecting laundry facilities at least a washing machine, perhaps I didn't read all the blurb but still. The bed looked very nice but wasn't that great.
- Carrissa (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): good location, comfortable, prompt response from hosts - lounge chairs not overly comfortable
- Tracey (10/5): Clean, comfortable, centrally located. - Centrally located, clean, comfortable, with everything you need for a Kalgoorlie stay. I would definitely recommend. Nothing
- Jana (10/5): - Good lication, size and cleanlines N/A
- John (9/5): - Comfortable Dirty back yard
- Shane (9/5): Very comfortable, well appointed, nice hosts. - I didn't have breakfast at the property
- Dave (8/5): -
- Julie (7/5): Overall unit was comfortable and convenient location - No designated parking, floors dirty ( bottom of feet dirty getting into bed)
Killed cockroach. Upgrade to queen bed would be an improvement.
- Clifford (8/5): - Location, parking
- Aaron (9/5): Clean and a great location - Great little unit, very clean and had everything i needed
- Patricia (10/5): Our host was very helpful when we had a problem and then when one of us inadvertently left her phone behind. Packaged it - Convenience and very comfortable No complaints
- Carter (9/5): - Nice unit very handy to centre of town
Coles shopping nearby. Walking distance to hotels - restaurants.
Decor and fittings & bedding all good quality. Very nice stay. Thank you. The fan in bathroom needs repairing
- Winch (9/5): - Really good location and perfect for us. Nothing
- David (9/5): -
- Pastor Glenn (9/5): We felt very blessed being able to stay there for the weekend :) - Very spacious and comfortable for a couple.
Nicely decorated and arranged.
Surprisingly quiet being only a block or so from the heart of town.
- Robert (7/5): -
- Ray (7/5): Our expectations were met. - The central location was excellent. An easy walk to the main street and supermarkets. No comment
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Donald (9/5): - Could not get SBS streaming on the T.V.
- Kayson (10/5): Fabulous Airbnb - I loved how Veronica was so lovely and welcoming when we first got there, she left us alone for the whole stay, and also was kind enough to let us have a late check out as the weather was poor and we were getting around on foot, also loved the accoomodation everything we needed was provided the bed was too comfortable as was the couch, the location was great everywhere we needed to go was within a few hundred meters walk loved the big screen TV heater and all appliances where I. Good working order 10/10 will recommend to anyone we know going to Kalgoorlie also would book again For some reason I thought this place had a pull out couch which was not the case.
- Minh Triet (8/5): -
- Wes (10/5): Great location clean and easy to access - would recommend. - Location perfect for our needs, Comfy bed and super friendly and easily accessible host/contact Some issue with the hot water running out unusually quickly on a couple of occasions but otherwise no problems at all.
- Tooley (10/5): We would stay here again. It was perfect for us. - Location was excellent. Can walk into the city in a couple of minutes. Comfortable unit, easily accessible. Host was excellent. Because it is the central city, the road noise can be heard. The blinds in the bedroom do not fully close so light from next door (which is on all night) shone into our eyes.
- Josie (7/5): -
- Michael (8/5): Very good - The location was fantastic 👌
- Luciana (7/5): A great and well- located place to stay. - The comfort and warmth. The outside area needs to be cleaned up and the bathroom could do with some renos...fan is very noisy..screen is broken. Overall, a very comfortable and clean place to stay in an excellent location. Thank you.🥰 As already mentioned..the outside area ar the back needs some serious work. Update the bathroom.
- Kerry (7/5): Good -
- Joanne (9/5): Superb - Great location and very comfortable apartment.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (8/5): Very good -
- Whelan (6/5): Disappointing. Ambition without perspiration is just pretention. . - Location 2 people for 3 days and the thoughtful host provided a single teabag plus stale coffee for the plunger.
But they provided five 1,000 piece jigsaws with no surface on which to use them in the slight chance we had the time.
Behind the badly cracked shower door the ancient tap handles barely mustered a useable flow.
One of the shelves in the kitchen is about to fall.
The street number is near invisible at night.
The host is as friendly as a pothole.
The WiFi has minimal bandwidth
- Matt (8/5): Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you - The location was great due to it being so close to town central. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner and meals. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to be close to CBD. The fan in the apartment was quite noisy. This would need to be replaced at some stage. The TV antennae would be better plugged in so that older folk like us that can't work streaming TV can watch just normal free to air channels.
- Andreas (9/5): I enjoyed my stay at Hyacinth Egan. - Perfect location, walking distance to everything , the bed was very comfortable! Great little unit.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Nicholas (10/5): lv it bee booking again - no breakfast all okay
- Craig (7/5): Good -
- Neville (8/5): Cosy apartment very close to the centre of town, quiet neighbourhood -
- Angela (8/5): Great spot to walk to Shops and main street . - Loved everything about the accommodation . No designated parking so getting home late all bays are full and had to park on the verge . Also a stale smell of cigarette smoke each time you walk into the apartment . But after a while you don't notice it .
- Dave (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (8/5): Good apartment within walking distance of main street and Coles - Location is easy walk to shops, pubs and restaurants.
Apartment is a good size and comfortable.
- Warren (8/5): Nice place, great location - The only very minor issue was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom was a bit dodgy.
- Stephan (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Schofield (10/5): Fantastic - What a beautiful Air BnB. Very clean and so close to everything pubs cafes supermarkets. Very short walk. Delightfully furnished had everything we needed. Bathroom exhaust very noisy
- Jim (8/5): We would stay here again, easy to find and convenient to everything and super comfy bed! - Quick easy access
- Graeme (10/5): We found the accommodation contributed to a relaxed stay in Kalgoorlie - The location was perfect for sight seeing in Kalgoorlie/Boulder. It was close to the shops without having traffic issues and associated noise. It was a short walk to the tourist information centre. The unit was very clean and the kitchen had all the crockery and cooking utensils that we needed. All rooms were spacious The tv took a little bit of working out but once sorted we were able to manage it ok
- Phyl (7/5): Enjoying stay in a good location. - Centrally located Very noisy and courtyard needs to be cleaned and tidied . No top sheet on the bed, only a heavy doona which was not suitable for the climate.
- Clare (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, clean with everything you could need.
- Lynda (7/5): Worked perfectly for our stay. Just a little bit of cleaning mainly outside in court yard. y - Nice unit. Walking distance to everything. Suited what we needed. Bed very comfortable. Easy to get into. Worked perfectly for our little stay. Outside area needs cleaning up. One of the reasons we picked this place we like sitting out side. No coffee but not a big deal. Needs a good clean under the bed otherwise it’s was nice and clean. They need to fix the broken glass in the bathroom. Wheelie bin overflowing when we got there. Apart from the outside and under the bed the other things are just letting you know about this.
- Rodney (8/5): Very good -
- Hamza (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (7/5): A neat, handy apartment that was comfortable and well equipped. - Very handy to town, well equipped Everything was pretty good, except the exhaust fan above the cooktop was out of order
- Anita (10/5): Great place to stay walking distance to Main Street. - Close to the main street Could have more comfy lounge chairs

- David (9/5): Great location and perfect for a short term self catering stay. - Location. Apartment was perfect for a 2 night stay, well laid out, contained all essential facilities for a short term self catering stay, clean and tidy. Nothing we didn’t like although it would be a good idea to have the crack in the shower screen door fixed.
- Karen (9/5): Love it - Good location to all amenities. There’s nothing.
- Service (10/5): Great communication from the host, would book this again in a heartbeat -
- Mcgillivray (9/5): Superb -
- Luciana (9/5): A Jewel in a great location. - Beautiful, clean and comfortable unit in a superb location...close to Coles, Kmart, hotels, Hannan St and bus stop. Fabulous big television but a few problems with internet connection. Owner is trying to rectify this problem.
